  1. I should have been clearer. You don't get time for destroying stuff after the bank job. Though I'm going to go dbl check that right now...
  2. I have found for Safeguard, Bank first and then do the Side Missions. Mainly based on that extra time is best added after the bank. For Mayhems, I do sides and destroy stuff first because you don't get extra time for destroying stuff. I have never had any real issues though if I don't. The jail never seems to come up as a waypoint for me on either, but I'm so used to it, and the Police Station is on the map. And yes, you can reset time missions by talking to the contact, though I've normally just abandoned via the repeatable. Normally for the Invader badge, but I did it as well for the Safeguard version. (I have abandoned a Safeguard via the police contact, but not after entering. I think it should still work) I'm not sure if that is something that was added since I don't think you used to be able to abandon timed.
  3. I'll be hitting 60 this year. It's not that I'm nicer, I just don't get riled up about little things anymore perhaps?
  4. My characters with KB powers, I usually get KB->KD on everything but one of the powers. Sometimes you just want to get someone elsewhere. So, I'm against a character toggle and would prefer a per power toggle. Though, a character toggle could balance it, and then via P2W would make the most sense to me. I would add to both Sudden Acceleration and Overwhelming Forces KB->KD enhancements extra KB that would in theory just make it easier to knock stuff over and make the enh not worthless to slot. (Though OF does +Dam anyway)
  5. I've been finding those to be fewer of a problem than early days. I think the GMs have been fixing the geometry here and there.
  6. Character Enhancement Tray able to hold 100 enhancements. I hate after a respec where I'm upgrading everything to have to reslot some if I don't want to lose them and then either having to do another respec, or use an unslotter.
  7. I'd go with whatever set you want to try out. I'm enjoying my Rad/Regen. Fully kitted out, throws out decent damage, and can take quite a bit. It's nice to just back off, and note full health and stamina after a short pause. And that's with defenses mostly in the 30s and resists not that high. I did have a Seismic Blast/Regen but wasn't happy with it as much. Sonic might be good for the -Res; Dark to make them miss even more?
  8. Hmm, looking at what is there, does seem 2nd tier isn't enough, you need: Tier 3: Rebirth Total Core Invocation or Rebirth Partial Core Invocation or Tier 4: Rebirth Core Epiphany
  9. I'm a big fan of Teleport Target and with the TP changes wound up using the TP pool for my travel needs. I find Combat Teleport the one I'll skip the most. Normally TP Target, Teleport, and then Fold Space if i have room on my Melee chars. Though I'm still working on the timing for Meteor & Fold Space combo. My only complaint on Fold is the tendency to make a conga line.
  10. As long as it's not a hug around the neck... I think something like what Bopper posted above is a good summary. We're never going to get the complete idea until open beta anyway since there will always be some changes that get rolled back due to a multitude of reasons, and some roll backs during Open. And the hurdle to get to Closed Beta is tiny, barely an inconvenience, super easy. I think I had more stuff to fill out on for an early release of <redacted> And having been in the industry, you don't start with an open beta, you do start with a smaller group and then ramp up.
  11. Yikes on the robbery bit. Here's hoping for everything getting better
  12. Can't say it's my favorite tool, but it's what they are using. Everytime I joined a company, I wound up needing to learn a tool or two that wasn't my favorite.
  13. Rikti Invasion is triggered in a zone after a Lady Gray TF completes Zombie Invasion is triggered in a zone after a Katie Hamon (sp) completes Nemesis Invasion is triggered after the end of Part 5 of Pandora's Box
  14. And yes, there is stuff being worked on, that you can find out by joining a discord channel. Not very difficult, I did so today even though apparently I didn't click on the right thing... A ton of stuff did get released in a flurry of activity last year, some due to dev timing issues. All in all, I'm pretty happy with their releases and the servers seem to be getting more stable which is nice. There are some functions that other servers have implemented that sound cool and maybe I'll go check them out again at some point.
  15. It was behind the couch cushions!
  16. Different mobs? Did the other two players have some buffs?
  17. It's an odd power, but once you learn to use it, it's handy. It's like Ki Push or the sonic push. Mitigates a bit. My only complaint now about it is it will knock stuff back further than your range.
  18. Come to think of it, my Ice/Ice tanker holds agro like someone triple dogged dared the mobs to lick her. I might need to check my SR tanker for agro checks.
  19. Yomo, I think you got it. These weren't things that were expected to be bought in the amounts that were done during the winter sales here.
  20. Really depends on what I'm doing or feeling. I don't run much solo at +4/x8 if it's not for power leveling some other character since it's more of a slog usually. At lower than 50 stuff while solo, I tend to run it at basic level just because I'm either doing it for the story, or just to do it. Once I get Incarnate Level shifts, +1 for almost all non-incarnate and matching the shift with incarnates. I'll often make sure bosses are on, maybe beef up the numbers though.
  21. I'm currently screwing around with Radiation/Regen, but Fire/Bio is a strong combo
  22. I solo my blasters a lot and while there's a bit of face planting in the early levels, at 50, they can blow through +4/x8 areas pretty well as long as you're willing to push the envelope. That is at least with fairly maxed builds. On non-optimum, they're still pretty good for non max content. On teams, they're great fire support, just let someone else grab the agro. Sentinals aren't that weak. They do a bit less damage, but their survivability more than makes up for having to hit someone twice. A lot of successful playing comes down to learning where you can let loose, and when to be a little careful. And there will be a lot of dying while you learn that, but that's just another badge. I don't trust level 50s that don't have the Exalted (or equivalent) Badge.
  23. Parked cars blow up. Ones in motion are safe according to Market Crash and Mayhem
  24. My default is "Not the Face!!!"
