Check the very first post in this thread, the first link is to the post with the locations. Are you sure it was Cortez and not Salamander or Grey Matter? If you don't get into the mission fast enough, one or both can get defeated before you can interrupt their fight. In any case, you can track them down in the sewers

Just came to post this bug. And yes, mobs have a minimum level of 45. If you are running at any plusses, then it's at your level +. So in my case, running at +2 from level 42, I'll still get the mobs at 45. If run at +4, then they are at 46.

Yea, that happens often enough for me. The cone I'm finding difficult to get right is the Cryonic. (Mainly because I got used to Vorpol)

That's why I setup a throwaway account before asking you for more influence.

My voles are pretty sluggish

I do have a broadsword/shield for the typical. I'd probably make a Ax/Shield next if I felt like it.

Pendulum Damage after change, other stats not compensated
lemming replied to WindDemon21's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
So, wound up rolling up a scrapper with battle axe to see how it compared to my recent tanks journey. Super Reflexes fit the concept better. I'll have to say, without making a careful build, they run out of endurance easily. Even with mitigation via sets and slotting. I do remember endurance being a bit of an issue with the tanker as well. Overall, Ax is a fairly thirsty set, so I can see some call to reduce end use there. On Pendulum itself: Damage isn't too bad, could be a little better. End use, probably drop to 12 and maybe drop the recharge to 12. I'm OK with leaving the knock chance at 50%. Targets at five is fine. Axe Cyclone: I'd raise it's knock chance up and bump the damage up a little, recharge down a little. Still having a lot of fun with the character -
Not sure about that when they threw a bunch of mechanics into missions where you wound up having to clear a room that you used to ghost the objective. While the devs didn't go into detail on why, they did make it that multiple stealth like powers could be on at the same time. I actually like it like that since there are some characters that I wanted stealth on since they weren't able to stack with, but my only option was either an IO or super speed, and I'm not fond of super speed myself. There are some combos now that I like better. Of course, there's always the option of making use of more stealthy tricks such as keeping some distance from mobs (and sometimes just not staying near). Outside some maps, you can stealth a mission with infiltration and a smaller set of maps without any actual stealth. I'm also guessing you haven't been on for awhile, since this was released in october. (though thru a real short beta cycle imo)

I was going off on a tangent. Ours was iirc Special Weapons Ordinance Research Development

We had a version of S.H.I.E.L.D. called S.W.O.R.D. in our champions campaign in the 80s. With a bunch of ex-german scientists...

Oh yea, that's on my wish list to pick up.

I have been enjoying my ice/ice tanker. Good survivabilty and surprisingly good offense. Pretty sure i got a build off the forums for it. A friend has an ice blaster, though dev for secondary that has worked well.

I've played since Beta and this is my view. Though I have never been that good at PvP. Heck, I usually got wiped in streetfighter. 😉

My own experience, YMMV. I've leveled a bunch of brutes, scrappers, stalkers, and tankers. They all work very well while doing solo stuff, even though played differently. I tend to base the build more on concept than "best". I also don't tend to frankenslot for procs. Tankers I lean into survivability, Scrappers into damage and being a bit more dynamic in their fighting. Brutes I work toward being able to do either, just not quite as well. (Stalkers I like doing a bunch of solo stuff with them, but sorta like a more fragile scrapper) I'll say that the ATOs for each are with the exception for Brute's Fury, good. The boost to Fury is usually wasted. I think they could be tuned a little up, there's a large gap between a very well built brute and a tossed together one. Tankers on the other hand, you can be sloppy in the build and still do pretty well on survival. I do like where the tankers are currently.

Probably a communication issue between server functions since the friends list was affected and that's a cross server function. And while in a base, you don't have as much interaction with the world.

I don't remember the error message, but that might have been it!

I had just exited a mission with a team on Excelsior I was working with, we all hung on the loading screen. My alt that was hanging in the base didn't notice a problem, but the friends list was non-functional for him

Dark Astoria "Cold Hand of Death" and First Ward's "Scavenger" are the most likely to not show the icon. There are some spots in Striga where it will show the icon for mortician, but won't actually count. If you log out in the Pocket D Bank Vault far enough to the left, you wind up not getting credit, and when you log back in, you pop out the door on the other side of the wall. I'm pretty CDO about my dayjob collections, but they are fairly infrequent issues.

I ran thru the Halloween drops on all my chars, so got a decent amount. Still think the top tiers are a bit spendy, but I'm fine with the lower tiers. And I think sub-50s should get them on WSTs. For accumalting, the 2% drop from random mission end and with the WST is good. The seasonals are I think a good place for extra, especially with the extra costumes then.

There are a couple mods that can up the sound of the glowie sound. I think both are available via the CoH Modder. One is an annoying submarine ping and the other is just the sound turned up.

My do all the content with a Bio/EM Tank is up to level 19. Currently doing the blue side and will then do the red. then level up, do that red stuff, then back to blue. One thing I have noticed, more of the pointless, hunt a bunch of mobs on the blue side so far.

Bah I say! Plus you can turn off movement portion via Gull.

Yes. If all a Kin does is speed boost, I don't care what else they do. I was on an ITF once with a Kin that didn't even have Speed Boost in their power list. I checked because I figured I was just missing out by playing a scrapper who was being semi-insane, but then looked at the team buffs and noticed NO ONE had a boost. They didn't take it because it was "worthless to them"
