Target binds that I tend to use for ITF now: Surgeon, Shadow Crystal, Hostless

Near 100 Reward merits from the two star plus 9 Aethers. (Bunch of other stuff) I like the new difficulty, it's more interesting than what we used to be able to knock out in 15 minutes (or much less)

I haven't noted it helping much on the ITF vs Rom, but it does help in the Sister Solaris Arc vs the EBs.

Best fix would be to figure out why and quash it there, but I think this is a good way around it.

Hmm. Log from a two star run shows: "Shadow Crystal HITS you! Void Explosion power was autohit." and now a better look at the previous three star run shows the same. May have gotten the wrong line since I did run missions earlier that may account for my mistake

My character with most badges was able to get the intro without a problem. I had not done the Legatus badge before Sister Val and didn't get it until the second mission. Might be another test point edit: Though your other alts got it with the badge. grrr. A vexing bug

Hmmm. It could be if you do either Ashley or Montague and then when you do Val's arc as the opposite alignment?

Fresh Beta char, used Level 50 plus, went to Night Ward, got badge, went to Cim and walked up to Val. Did first Mission and was introduced to Sister A. New theory: Could it get messed up my having the Legatus badge before you do Val's Mission? (Since iirc, Voltor did the 100 Sister Sol mission to beat down Rom enough...)

I'd go with mistaken. My excerpt was from the new ITF, one of the hard modes. (Two star?) My scrapper did get taken from ~2400 to 300 health when hit.

I suspect Voltor's main would have done the Monty arc, but might have gotten the Cim access via Nightward first. I'm odd that I tend to do the Monty arc and I think so far the ones that have intro'd have all done it that way. I'll have to spot check my chars and see if I can find one to cheese. (Or maybe I'll just head over to Beta, hmm, that might work faster...)

My Praetorian was parked where the helicopter is in Echo Plaza and got the badge filled up when I logged in. However, she's resistance, so no actual badge and as far as I can tell, no way to get it since I can't change alignment again. (Or at least I don't know of a way)

I've gone thru a few chars now and all get introduced to Alexandra after Valeria first mission. Doubt it's lack of badges that's the issue since Voltor would have ALL the badges other than maybe the brand new ones. My guess is there's an Ouro arc (maybe some other task?) that somehow turns off whatever flag gets set to not introduce her. Which arc? Not sure and with my potato of a system, will take a long time to hunt down. This theory based on Cobalt's mention of the Ouro arc not introducing contacts as expected, but for some reason it's not for certain live chars. If someone hasn't by the time I can check, I'll try running an Ouro arc, then going to Val right after. My suspicion would be Sister Solaris arc, since that one helps intro Val. Though I know one of my chars did do Sister via Ouro at least once and still got the intro from Val. edit add: Hmm, RipRend kinda kiboshes the theory right there.

Oh, and I had to re-install yesterday and noted, oh yea, the glowie sound mod is required for me.

I know of TFJ (pretty sure they're in my discord channels), but hardly interact with them directly. On Excelsior, there's a few people that run good incarnate trials. Oklahoma seems to be the most frequent and consistent. And certainly not toxic in my experience. You can also try one of the other servers. I've recently started hanging out on Everlasting because of a friend joining HC and he had some previous contacts there. I haven't sussed out the usual culture there (other than all the RPG peeps existing), but there is a TF channel that's very active.

Could it be linked to doing the Senator's missions? I'll have to run thru my chars and see if any have the issue.

I have a few chars that would benefit from the mini costume. My Badger will eventually get all the badges, but since I'm not rushing on any of them, I'll let them accumulate. (I mean, I don't even have a couple of the damage badges yet...) I second Bionic's opinion on having them drop for under-50s on WTF
