My current roster in a table below I do seem to get my melee and blasters up to 50 very quickly. My PB & WS are taking forever, but they're both at 45, so soonish... (So, got them to 50 yesterday, but they seriously need to be tuned, so will be working on their builds over the next week or so) Three of my stalkers are doing projects, hence they're not at 50. I'll be revisiting Sentinels since I do like them, and now that I've tried each primary & secondary, I might make another with different combo. I think I need to have another category for "finished" where the character is kitted out with sets. (Right now, off the top of my head, one blaster, two brutes, a scrapper (my main), and three tanks) # @50 Blaster 12 12 Brute 12 11 Controller 7 6 Corruptor 6 4 Defender 1 1 Dominator 2 2 Mastermind 3 3 Peacebringer 1 1 Scrapper 6 6 Sentinel 12 12 Soldier 1 1 Stalker 5 2 Tanker 12 11 Warshade 1 1 Widow 1 1

Name changes are free in the character selector. Click on the pen in the upper right (not the red delete one)

A lot of my chars are based on song titles and I'll paste some of the lyrics. The ones from TTRPG have pretty extensive origins, but only a smattering gets here. Some get more bio the more I play them. Then again, that's how my TTRPG characters got bios, more developed, the more they got played.

How do you import your character into Mids?
lemming replied to Robothenri's topic in Mids' Reborn Hero Designer's Forum
Just tested out my own method which is, buildsave, rename file to CharName.txt, copy it over to the system that has Mids, and open it. Normally that goes fine and I save as a mxd file. Did note this time, Blistering Cold seems to have had issues, but I might just need to update. Otherwise, it worked. -
Yea. I moved up here in 1998, we didn't have A/C, didn't need it. We moved down to Utah for 11 years and came back in 2016, had a tiny house built with A/C since we intended to travel. Decided to stay in PDX. It's definitely warmer here than it used to be.

Back on live, sure, but I was starting to cut down. Now, if I drink enough to get myself drunk, I'll be paying for it way more than I think worth it. Plus some of my meds are "don't drink" types. So, I might have a shot of good whiskey, maybe every two weeks. Eat some edibles more often, but more for the CBD than the THC.

It's a definite idea that could be done. Might take a bit of work, but since the file can be stored on your computer, an editor can be done offline, and then later, you could upload it in the game. Disclaimer: While I did a lot of programming, most of what I did was server side processing on non-MS systems. 😉

I have been working in cat rescue for 20+ years and am currently on the medical committee for our rescue. I've been involved many times with having to make the decision to let a cat cross, and it never gets easier. You recognize the pain, but it always hurts. I'm very sorry for your loss.

Stay hydrated! I have the advantage that I do have A/C and don't have to go out today except in emergency. All the heat of the desert SW and fortunately only 1/2 the humidity of New Orleans. And a low percentage of people with A/C.

Yea, I'm in Portland. We just dropped to 107 so it's cooling off for the evening! Do what you need to.

Make sure to bring plenty of change.

My badger scrapper finally got their held badges by isolating five sappers in a mission, gathering them together and letting them do their thing for a day. They couldn't do enough damage, but I was constantly held by them. They're real danger is making you vulnerable to others. (And yea, my Elec/Elec Brute is completely immune)

My thoughts on Sentinals. I have twelve of them and they are fun to play. They are a bit underpowered in DPS. They don't add a heck of a lot to a team, but they don't need much support from the team. Their inherent is sorta meh. Things I'd change: Boost DPS slightly, increase resist cap to 85% Change inherent to give teammates different boosts based on the sentinel's secondary and possibly the teammate AT. In case of sentinel teammates, some other synergy. Not sure if having just a constant buff, or building up the bar like dominators. Possibly a low constant with an occasional extra buff for one other teammate.

what happened to the price of large inspirations?
lemming replied to DougGraves's topic in General Discussion
My low level chars tend to sell the large inspirations often and it's always been quite variable. 1k-50k with a median around 20k has been my experience. -
But you can't disarm all the bombs before the cut scene. The last bomb is beyond the trigger for it. I also haven't seen this bug happen and been on several times having the cut scene happen before several other bombs hadn't been disarmed

Your choice, but I like the ability of the -range on targets to bring them in.

Time for an update on Pools of Mercury. After being disillusioned by Praetoria, she left. I hadn't done the Marchand transfer for a long time and was surprised to see Reese there saying farewell. No option to toss him off the barge though. I also find this to be even more jarring compared to his behaviour in the Number 6 arc later. I need to put together a dev machine to see if we can add options to that arc at some point. Anyway.... Took a couple days to wander around, saved some civilians, helped out this guy about a Midnight Club. Man this world is a mess y'all. I know there are other ex-praetorians around, but been doing her own thing. Mostly following tips on the street and trying to do the more "heroic" thing. Ran into Maelstorm, but he was working with some Council goofs, didn't seem to recognize me even though we fought just a little while ago. I don't think that guy's brain is wired right. Close fight, nearly bought it. Picked up some supplies from the hospital and they said I should get a mediporter. No thanks, that's how they can track you. Game terms, got to 22, bought some 25 IOs off the AH

Now I need to go thru all my costumes and make statistics on which hairstyles. Sometimes it's the clipping that makes the hairstyle choice for me. Off the top of my head, Serrated Sugar, Hard Candy, Glam, and Strange are the ones that tend to used for mine.

Since I made a clockwork orange AE mission, I need to point out that horrorshow means good in that context, which I had forgotten as well. Though the meaning does get modified during the book. https://www.rbth.com/education/326453-russia-words-from-clockwork-orange On the terms of Synapse. it's one of those Taskforces that could use a rework. Too many missions that are just repeats

never thought this game would depress me, but it does
lemming replied to Carbie48's topic in General Discussion
Heh. Was on an ITF last night that was put together by a 35 and he made a level 50, vet level 65, lead. The vet had little idea what they were doing with leading an ITF, but we muddled thru. And I think they learned. I noted before they started, their setting was -1/x4 and I reminded them to set difficulty. First mission was +0 which was fine, but they set it for +4 next one. We had a scrapper, little healing, only two 50s that were incarnate. (I was on a newly minted 50 fire blaster with generic IOs) That was a tough mission, but we did it with only one quitting. (I have no idea how many times I died, but I mostly kept up with my Rise of the Phoenix) We set it back to +1 for next mission and got thru the rest fairly well. It was a good learning experience. 😄 Reminded me of some TFs on live where everything was new. I'd team with them again. -
Fairy Wears Boots: Bio/Fire Dynomonique: WP/War Mace Scalez: Inv/SS Generic Hero No. 001: Bio/Staff Sharp Dressed Tanker: WP/Psi Spiney Norman: Bio/Spines Danger Noodle: Fire/Rad Horse You Rode in On: Dark/Dark Metal Health: WP/Titan Weapons Stabbit: Rad/Claws These are my Tanks, so far. Fairy is probably my favorite. Not the most durable, but fun to play in teams or solo. Dyno & Scalez are good team players. Those three are the most outfitted with sets, though I want to respec in fold space and a little more tweaking on each build. They work as current builds fine though. I want to play around a bit more with Spiney, but he got ignored soon after hitting 50 and I was trying a lot of concepts back then. Horse needs a respec and outfitting and I keep dithering over the build. Stabbit & Metal are probably my only meh ones. At some point, I want to try out the other Primaries, but I do a lot with other ATs too.

Assassin's Strike breaking hide but dealing no damage
lemming replied to GastlyGibus's topic in Bug Reports
Necro-post, but this is still happening. Looking at my logs now, I get the AS activation, but no roll to hit, etc... Next line is my target attacking me. I seem to be seeing it more often. This stalker is only at level 21 and I've had it happen maybe once per day. -
I've been knocked back doing Lightning Rod and just hopping, but a little KB resist via a set prevents most issues
-
I haven't but I'll see if I can check one of the other arcs with a similar. I just know at the time I saw some movement in those badges

Pools of Mercury has reached level 21 in Praetoria. Put in some low bids for level 25 IOs since that should save information in the long run. Did Loyalist Power until Neutropolis where I did Responsibility and was weirded out by Mother that I went resistance, then did the Warden arc. Still informed Marchand of stuff, but since he's as disgusted with Berry, etc... I can go with that. Just wish the later arcs in First, Night Ward, and Primal that have the Praetorians would acknowledge the Praetorians characters instead of treating them as new to them. Should be feasible to do this without too much effort. I think the one that bugs me the most is Reese in Number 6's arc. So now before leaving Praetoria, I think I'll run around and get all the exploration badges and plaques. May have to make a second build with some flight capability though. I think I can do the top of the building in Nova, but getting to the top of the reactor in Neutropolis seemed more problematic.
