Good points on the story arcs. (No idea on the Siren's Call thing since it's totally outside my experience. Drop the cool down to 18 hours in line with most other content. Other rewards to choose perhaps: 1 Prismatic 1 Recipe Roll (as from the AE ticket roll. Uncommon & Rare, maybe 75% Unc, 25% Rare)

Minor bug: Maria Jenkins Shrouded mission exit does not work
lemming replied to KaizenSoze's topic in Bug Reports
Those boxes are sometimes very tricky to exit with. I had some issues getting out of the Escape Reichsman portion of the Kahn TF and one other member got smooshed by him due to not getting to zone out. Haven't noted it an issue with specific missions, just occasionally it crops up. -
That's a very long post to have this embedded. 😉 The diminishing returns bit is a bit of an annoyance, since one can just cycle thru characters. However, I don't worry too much about it since most of my chars do need something they would get from it. The last thing I'm trying to do is be too efficient, that's a way to make CoX less of a game and more a chore. On Prismatic Aether prices. I'm fine with them dropping in price, though I don't have any skin in the game. I'm collecting them on my own, not selling or buying. If they drop to a million, I might buy a few to get the badge on my badger. Otherwise, I'll just collect them organically, though I do need to get some ITF & Aeon's in.

Funny thing I noticed about the "Vanguard HVAS"
lemming replied to biostem's topic in General Discussion
Maybe they're controlled via Remote? -
If you only ran the TPN, you'd get 3. Because of the LAM, you got one from that, so only two more from the TPN. (Basically capped at 3 for 18 hours from iTrails) And ITF & Aeon are on a different schedule? WST as well. I'm not much of a fan either, but I'm addressing it by not pursuing them.

Noted I hadn't done Invulnerability outside of my tank, so wrote up Candygram, a Titan Weapon/Inv Brute with a carnie mallet. So far, so good, but only up to level 13.

Suffer! I just started a Titan Weapon/Inv Brute yesterday. So much pain...

Depends on the concept, probably the longest part is working on the costume since I tend to have the starting powers and name picked out ahead of time. Once I'm past that stage. However long it takes to go thru the tutorial and rearrange my trays. 10 minutes at most.

XP boosts turn off once you hit 50. (just a quick minor correction)

I have done a few of those. With a few non-praetorians as well. I think I was trying to trigger an alignment change with my praetorian to get the Pilot badge, but doesn't look my Resistance member will be able to get that. My lower level one got it. Commuter, and Shopkeeper, since they were still going back and forth.

I did find one annoying aspect to Ouro, Primals & Praetorians can't seem to team while in a base which makes starting a mission arc via the crystal a no-go
-
I was Lemming on live. Been lemming online as a handle since '82, though it's often used by others.
-
I've noted this during some of the other arcs produced at this time. Dr Graves, Twinshot, Praeter Marchand will sometimes have multiple of the same character
-
Pretty sure this happens elsewhere, but noted it with Sister Vals last mission. If you have bosses turned off, EBs spawn as Bosses as expected, but the ones in SIster Vals arc after defeat spawn Elite Boss Hostless Nictus.

Vidiotmaps for Homecoming
lemming replied to AboveTheChemist's topic in Tools, Utilities & Downloads
You dont have the latest map pack downloaded by the screenshot you showed -
SBB and House of Horrors works fine. Any iTrial. The Belladonna arc since its mission doors are in the Night Ward. Cathedral of Pain and the instanced Mothership Raid. Whoops, need the Member of Vanguard for MSR And they can repeat content with an Ouro crystal from a base. And it's possible to use TT to get to a "train" mission, similar to the Market Crash train. (Hmm, could be possible to do the last mission of Market Crash?) add: Unsure on the TT thing now since I havent gotten it to work for a bit.

Sins of the Devs are visited upon the players
lemming replied to The_Warpact's topic in General Discussion
Personally, hoping it's a false theory. I noted someone saying it was a way, but would like confirmation either way. -

I want the mini version for a few characters, and heck, even more of a cave version for others... -

On a slow laptop, more like a minute per zoning. (My current system since my main and backup rigs died. Internet connection also plays a part) Though one could just run AE missions that complete on entry. I haven't bothered since that seems like a boring churn even without the connection, so someone would need to confirm that works. And you could setup five missions like that so you don't have to keep hitting the AE terminal. On the average system in the game, you could probably run thru quit a few more. And I suppose do three accounts to up the odds? -
It would be nice if they just put it one mission hunt. Just give the list of targets and zones needed, but none of this waiting around for each zone to be done before the next group. Still keeps the tour, but none of the waiting for each bit to be done.

For most players, 6.3B is a large amount of influence. If you consider it a pittance, then yea, you're getting higher returns at a much higher rate than normal play. I play a decent amount, but I don't try to max my influence return, it's not what I find interesting. If I want to outfit a character it just takes me a few days of screwing around either seeing which characters have the recipes needed, or a bit of converter roulette. I do have 99 50s, most are just outfitted with generic IOs, and between drops etc, it's not a big deal. Occasionally I'll build up some influence via AH crafting, etc... I probably have 2-4B influence total in liquid inf. For the aethers, I doubt I'll bother buying any and will just build them up via the occasional HM and other methods to get the badges, then will see how the other tiers get priced. 150 is doable and an alright amount of effort. Like I said earlier (or maybe elsewhere) on the number of aethers needed for costumes, the tier 1s seem to be at an OK price, the other tiers first proposed prices are more inflated. -

Yoma gave the math, Luminara punctuated it. 0.98^50 gives 36% chance of you not getting one during the streak. I got blessed by RNG the other day by getting three Prismatic's in six missions, but the RNG is a fickle beast and none of my other characters has had one drop at the end of a mission. 😉 -
I think it would make the final mission at least somewhat interesting outside the flyers that go and grab her, but yea, you'd need to build up some pitchfork defense and resists.
-
Why? You don't get Aethers via AE runs either. I assume the reasoning is that under 50s don't get Notice of the Wells either. You still get a huge XP bonus and maybe they'll add the Aethers to the reward.
