  1. I just assume it says "Watermelon Cantaloupe" over and over
  2. Figure, might be better to put my build here than in messages. This is still in progress and I expect to respec next release. I think this can be heavily improved as is, but works well in most content. I haven't taken her solo against +4/x8 This Hero build was built using Mids Reborn 3.0.4.7 https://github.com/Reborn-Team/MidsReborn Click this DataLink to open the build! 3. I'll admit, a lot of people would rather not lead a team. That's where I fall a lot of the time, though I'm perfectly fine on leading most of the TFs. On passing the star to a higher level, I normally see the person who gathered everyone up ask if the star should be passed. Only TF (iirc) that I feel it's mandatory is Manticore. Posi is the opposite, you can avoid spirits if you're lower level.... And for the most part, I find random teams are usually pretty good or at least entertaining.
  4. It captures the feel of Champions without the complexity. It has a lot of older Champions contributors involved and the original Champs authors have played in a few games of it and greatly enjoyed it. (I'm friends with the P&PUE people and know the Hero people) It's available via drive thru as a PDF now, and will have print copies available. (Not sure when, the KS people are just about to get theirs) And yes, the combats are faster that Hero and deals with hordes of agents pretty nicely. Quickstart for free is: https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/269917/Prowlers--Paragons-Ultimate-Edition-Quickstart?term=Prowlers
  5. A decent percentage of my characters are from my tabletop RPG (Champs) days. Obviously the power levels and construction are a tad different. Now I need to go full circle and convert everyone back to Prowlers & Paragons UE
  6. I happen to love the EM changes, though I haven't rolled a tank with one, it's on my eventual alt list. I do have a bunch of tanks and find them fun to play on teams and solo. I also find that good tanks tend to elevate some teams from we're doing OK to steamroll machines.
  7. Honestly, the only issue I have with any sort of stealth is when trying to lead someone out. (Maybe plusses to perception only for spotting the person leading. Don't want them running off and attacking stuff)
  8. My badger is a DB/WP scrapper. Not built for anything in particular, but I tried dropping hasten and I can keep running combos at this point. I'd have to look to see how much recharge she's got from set bonuses. Could probably tune her a bit since currently, she can't run out of endurance. (Too many +End procs I think. 😄 )
  9. Ok. Went back down cleared everyone out except Gears. I think what is happening is that only one of the damage lines is sticking. Assassin Strike's damage is still recorded. Gears had 46 hp after standing back up, so I think the 58 + 24 points of damage didn't take full effect. Gears was still defeated, I got influence (xp turned off now) and more little gears spawned, plus the ambush for the mission was activated. And the mission end requirement was satisfied as well. Going to let him heal up to full again and make sure the focused rage isn't part of the behavior. (I suspect same thing will happen) Third try without eating a red, Gears fell and stayed down from the Assassin Strike. I do note, he took just barely over his 195 health.
  10. And another one in the very next mission. I'm thinking the assassin strike damage may not be sticking. I've got some scenarios to test out gears.txt
  11. Doing a mission from Carla Brunelli "Defeat Wrench and Minions" with my EM/EA Stalker at level 10. Bosses spawn at Lt level Log attached, but the events went Assassin Strike on Wrench, he dies, I get 162 xp, but he immediately gets up at 1/2 health. And gears spawn as well. I then defeat everyone, get another 162 xp from Wrench again. No gears this time. I think this had happened elsewhere, I just didn't catch it before. wrench.txt
  12. I turned off XP so that I didn't outlevel anything at levels 9,14,19 in Praetoria. Though it's best to do them in a set order so you switch Resistance/Loyalist at the most opportune times. Then went to First ward, did all those arcs (I think lvl 29 for that) and Night Ward goes to 39. After that, it's either doing flashbacks or AE, though I did get the Valentine's missions. (Cauldron and Snaptooth worked, tips & Widow do not)
  13. I have a Praetrorian Stalker that's Martial/Bio. The character's been fun. Did all the Praetoria arcs, and the arcs in the Wards and am slowly working my way up to 50. Genetic Corruption does do a bit of damage mitigation, and they're not as prone to run when they're sleeping
  14. Running thru the Hollows just now: [NPC] Outcast Initiate Slicer: I'm going to be the snot out of the next guy I see. Maybe if the next guy is a Hydra?
  15. I have a brute with this combo. So far at 50, just with generic IOs they do well. I take them out for a spin every so often
  16. I have a few characters with a bunch of toggles. I wouldn't mind a button to toggle on all of them, but you'd have to figure out a way to configure which ones and which order, and probably have it just turn on powers skipping ones already on. (Say after you get end drained and pop a blue) Low priority though
  17. Looking an the wiki, it's of four unimplemented inspirations. Recall, Academia Breakthrough, Detective Breakthrough. and Science Breakthrough. And I don't remember them ever showing up, but maybe they dropped for a bit on the beta server? It would interesting to get them implemented, though what would they do. Recall: Single use recall friend Maybe the Academia & Science breakthroughs would provide shortcuts for memorizing some recipes Detective Breakthrough could be used to skip over parts of an arc or TF. Don't want to do a patrol, or say multiple kill alls in a TF? Wouldn't work for certain missions like end of arcs. This link is good for current https://hcwiki.cityofheroes.dev/wiki/Inspirations This one shows the ones that were never implemented https://cityofheroes.fandom.com/wiki/Inspirations
  18. The icon doesn't pop up often, but as noted, near the tunnel entrance is usually good. I got it to build time a little north of the psychiatrist day job a couple days ago. If you're unsure, you can log off and log back in to double check. Dark Astoria has a similar issue, but again, near the tunnel works
  19. There are some forum posts on the the various badges and how to get them. hcwiki is good. The Marchand badges are good to read the arc notes for so you don't miss them. SBB, DFB, and DiB are fairly easy, and if you ask about badges when starting them, people normally know how to get them. Some I'm just letting the attrition on defeats go along to get a few of the newer shard ones. I still need the top of Damage dealt & taken ones (and I'm vet level 153 now) Still working on a couple Master badges. A couple could be knocked out if I just went and applied myself. 😄 Got the final one from Keyes yesterday and now up to 1513.
  20. I lean toward tall characters, but I do run all over the place. And most of my characters have a min height form for caves. A few of those are "remote robots" or some such
  21. Some of my chars have different stuff for each costume slot, others not much different. Though most of my tall chars have a short version for caves. I do tend to customize power colors before anything else.
  22. Not entirely sure how helpful this would be, but if you can survive Red Widow in the Valentine's arc and since you can't kill her, you could hit her up for damage. I did see damage done (and taken) work toward the badges. Might be a couple other missions out there where you can't actually defeat the target, but wrack up damage done.
  23. They are attainable via Oro. You don't really switch alignment in those cases, it's just making the choice. As far as I can tell on my badge hunter, there aren't any that are unattainable. The one Praetorian that isn't available via flashback is the Avid reader badge that is gotten via reading options in the tutorial, but that is then attainable via Prometheus' verbage after you have done a Incarnate Trial.
  24. I have using a pop menu for checking badges, I think this is the one
  25. This is my character on Excelsior that has all exploration badges, and it does show 459 of them. I haven't looked thru your entire list, but one "Invader" is an accolade for getting all the Mayhem exploration badges.
