I think the number of people that are bothered by Patrol XP is massively lower than the number of people bothered by Hasten's glowing hands. Of the various options, I'd prefer the "If No XP toggled, no patrol XP accumulates" though that will have an effect on some of mine, I can work around it, and your having to kill yourself to remove it is more an issue. What I do, when a character is offline, they're doing more than patrol, but a good work/super/life balance probably helps the XP flow more efficiently after one is done resting. Plenty of studies have shown a short work week produces more output over the long term. On quick offing yourself: Eden for < lvl 35, the DE near the hospital beds are fast The Hive hosp works for 45+; Just tested it out and took 3 minutes to wipe out my 50s patrol XP on a blaster. A tanker might take slightly more time

Before my computer upgrade, Brainstorm would lag more than Excelsior. I'm thinking it's more to do with graphic settings, or the network speed. Both I have seen impact lag issues more than what the server is up to.
-
Another one is a redside arc where you're fighting the Shaper Cult with freakshow. Some guy named Ohm iirc. It's a common problem

I know there are some names on Everlasting, but I've never had an issue with teaming there. I started up some stuff there over the summer and ported a couple characters from Excelsior. There's a different style, but not too much different. That's not to say there aren't cliques, but there are a few on Excelsior as well. For most people, I'd say either server works fine. Both have Task Force channels and people that run particular content.

In theory, easy. From a coding standpoint, possibly not. In the name retention threads, the Devs mentioned that there are a lot of things that aren't easily identified by account. However, since we do have altinvite, we can check if your alt is tied to your account, so maybe? Powersets and such could be done since we already do it for a few different arcs against clones of your current characters (Posi 1 and a few others story arcs)

Fifty Billion Worth of Chaos: A Market Thought Experiment
lemming replied to Andreah's topic in The Market
Didn't someone already do the uncommon salvage disruption? For awhile 12k was the price one would get for throwing them onto the market. I forget how long that lasted, but all it did was have me dump a lot of uncommon at the time. (I tend to dump a bit when my salvage gets full and the base is already full, so it didn't change my actions much) -
I think the last patch? did a little bit of tweaks to the stealths to make them slightly different (+/- 0.25 iirc)

Engineers have extra perception levels though IMO they shouldn't see thru Superior Invis or Stalker, but there's a bunch of auras that trip those up lately. One of my stalkers walked a little too close to some debuff thing in a level 40 arc and then got flattened by the room. It's annoying to sneak around lately
-
I'm not thrilled with those. I tend to draw the mobs away from hostages just because of the number of hostages that get blown up while rescuing them.
-
For those like me that never use Super Speed, it's a minor QoL increase in that a lot of the powers that were exclusive can be on at the same time as Stealth, etc... Stealth by itself works as well as the old style Stealth + SS. I'd be fine with Super Speed stacking again, but it's not my call.

FB gave enough for 1&2 The other place to get Minotaur & Cyclops is in the Sister Solaris arc. Last mission has a bunch, but the joining in a normal ITF will quickly do it. Those get run quite a bit on Excelsior and Everlasting.

1) Not particularly, though some sets need more work before being put into an AT. 2 - 4) I'd like to a couple sets fixed first. Regen needs a bit of work before it should get tossed over to Tanks. Brutes probably need a bit of work, but that's a different subject. I'm starting to get in Snarky's camp on that area. I think I need to go do a recheck on what isn't proliferated yet. (Hmm, off the top of my head: Axe for Stalkers, Regen & EA for Tanks?) Ah right, bunch into Dominators.

I've run this arc quite a bit. Really depends on my setup if it's a challenge or not. I tend to run it at whatever level shift I have, but there's a load of difference between having my not well built regen brute and my completely kitted out inv tank. I found it easier to solo with my fire blaster than with my regen brute.

I think something that saved power tray placement and then allowed you to reload it after respec would be a good way to do this. I know we can do "macroslot 14 macrotxt powexec_name POWER" to put a macro in a particular spot, but I don't know if there's a way to do so with the power Something like /tray_all_savefile would make a text file with the powertray setup for all trays, then an ability to reload them as well. It would have to be smart enough to know powers from macros, but either would work.
-
I suppose I could try to use up my respecs, but there's only so many times I want to rearrange my trays. I tend to just wait until I hit 50 before I do one, but by then I have five on hand, if I haven't done something else that grants one. (Patron Pool, Respec Trials, the devs hand them out if a power gets changed, vet levels start adding them in, I don't even know how many I have from Super Packs) I doubt this is needed, it's more a solution looking for a problem.

On the other hand, it worked great for me since you had them well distracted for my meteor. 😉

I have a Bio/fire tank that's fun to play though they've been on my respec list since the Fold Space intro.

I honestly don't know if the -def on fire swords was added to screw with fire farmers, but I like to think it was to buff those of us who have fire attacks. I have a couple fire melee sorts that have been taking advantage of those changes. I did modify my fire farms to not have those swords. I tended to use those to level up chars I just didn't feel like taking thru normal content, and normally did it active. The only spot I found the devs are anti-farming is where mass imbalance of rewards was being done, and it does seem to have mostly been found with AFK farms. 80% of all inf was found to be generated on the meteor fragment. On PUG stuff: I've run into a few people that seem to have no idea what they are doing, but you just try to teach them the ropes. Doesn't really matter if they learn from level 1 or 50 to much. There is a tendency for people to do minimum mobs on a lot of TFs, though there are the occasional kill most and I've seen a few +4 KM ITFs. Those tend to have a few plussed out 50s that are PLing a couple SG maters 35s. Though I like those at +2 so the lower levels aren't just being swatted and can help.

I think if we could redesign a better respec, that would probably be feasible. Just need for the stars to align

Current that is just a warning system from Page 4 is: The name release policy as (linked) described some time ago has been implemented and will begin to phase in starting with Page 4. Level 1-5 characters will be flagged as inactive if they have not been played in the last 30 days. Level 6-49 characters will be flagged as inactive if they have not been played in the last 365 days. Level 50 characters will never be flagged as inactive.

Checking my blaster, and I'm pretty sure this is not the correct slotting, but she has Four Slotted Hypersonic in Hover, single slot of flight enh in Swift, and Fly, and just some defense in Evasive Her Hover is at 55mph, flight is capped at 88mph, with afterburner at 102.27 That Hover is close to unslotted flight iirc
-
It's a freewheeling way to play. I need to respec my fire/fire/fire after the latest patch so that I can shift that not so damaging immobilize pick
-
I think if people read the entire EULA, TOS, warning labels, etc... that's all anyone would do. (though HC TOS is a quick read, so no real timesink there)

I think the only second build I did for a badge was for getting the ski slope badges. (Not really needed, those really just take a bit of practice) My badger (DB/WP Scrapper) is still clawing it's way up to get the last badge. iirc, I think that dang arena badge and a few of the new Masters need doing.

On live we also had much fewer slots, so there I did have a presence on each server. Here, not an issue (well, I guess someone might have that much altitis)
