  1. My first char was fire/fire/fire. So much face planting. I did reroll her on HC as Fire/Time which has been fun, but I did make a fire^3. Once you have Rise, it's just part of the rotation. That said, my fire blasters are beasts throwing out enough damage that most things are dead before they become an issue.
  2. Current S.T.A.R.T. S.T.A.R.T. Vendors are located in the tutorials, in the starting zones (Atlas Park, Mercy Island, and Nova Praetoria), Pocket D, Grandville, Firebase Zulu, Fort Trident, The Crucible, and Echo Plaza. During the Winter Event, a S.T.A.R.T. vendor is located in the Winter Forest. I'd like to see them added to RWZ, Abyss, Hive, and PI. (PI just to mirror Grandville)
  3. I had to scroll up to be sure this wasn't an old thread. Necro on stuff that has changed completely is pretty annoying. Some of the necro threads have been alright. Mods seem to be doing fine on locking the ones that should stay dead. Maybe a popup that says "Are you sure you want to perform necromancy on a dead equine?"
  4. Somewhere between 1 and 50+. Though I think my latest to finally put in a decent build has been vet level 14. Oh oh, just looked at my spread sheet and one of my tanks that is marked to need a respec is vet level 145... (She's good, but could be a lot better) Normally, I play it by ear until I hit 50 when I tend to respec, put all the lower than 50 IOs into storage and kit the character out. I have been being better about slotting some sets earlier, but it's still not heavily looked into.
  5. Dr Aeon and the rugs in the last Max mission. Mayhem missions. And a bunch of others with triggers when you get to a certain spot. Just not all have something visible. Other than Hess, other one that used to do this was the second Heckenburg Nemesis mission, but now you just get kicked out. And Hard Mode Lady Grey now has an escape at the end. Reichsman is one. There's also the First Ward mission with Praetor White. Iirc, Antimatter is in another one. Ajax in Sharkhead.
  6. Didn't matter if a villain or hero started the TF, Todd will con hostile to redside. If all are villains, Todd will con non-hostile.
  7. For something fairly low key, I'd like a tune up on history plaques that told said which ones we have done. And if we did a reward, for them, maybe some brainstorm salvage, but no rewards are necessary.
  8. Yep, we need Patrol XP to be added to combat attributes to make it easier to track (perhaps with a percentage?) At 50 it still adds up fairly quickly. (25% of a bar, so 40 badges to fill patrol) I had a widow parked forever and with the recent changes, respec'd and noted no accolades. And since I tend to do an entire zone, I've been hitting the cap a lot. Then I go do some missions, etc... The old version was certainly easier to work with. More bits of math just to check: So, at level 50, one badge is 140200 patrol XP, before the change it was 1,000xp (well, at base levels, server xp bonus worked) Gets reduced by XP gain and you're getting a 50% bonus iirc. So I think that one badge is equal to getting 46733 xp, just a little more drawn out. Anyone remember when badges giving direct XP was added?

  11. Pure lore reasons: To make VEATS a viable option, we'd need to put them in undercover from the Rogue Islands. Instead of Calvin or Marchand giving you undercover missions, maybe Kalinda would be the voice giving you options. For HEATS, Ms. Liberty would probably be the best option. This does collide with the Neutropolis missions where you discover stuff about primal. So, there's a lot to write around to make that feasible. A PEAT would be good. (PEAT MOSS?)
  12. Sounds about right. Iirc, the non-teamed low level would do a couple points of damage to something many levels above them, so they'd get a big multiplier based on level difference. Pretty sure that's what prompted the change to not give XP to chars lower than five levels below.
  13. That might work. Not sure how that could be done since it's probably not a simple code change, but maybe it is. Maybe instead of the current range of useless at -4, and best at +3. Then just make the value at -4 and below equal to what DOs are. (And maybe if DO, what TOs were) Then they're marginally useful even if not replaced, but the old values don't have to be messed with.
  14. There was some behaviour that was briefly done where you could run through a high level zone tagging mobs for 1 hit and when a higher level char not on your team whacked it, you'd get a massive amount of XP. I don't think that lasted very long and I'm fuzzy on those details.
  15. I use it to chat with a few friends that I play with often. I also join chats that are being run by the various server task force channels. (Currently Everlasting) Easier than typing, though I need to get a better headset.
  16. Well, a quick stab at a guess, but I'm guessing since the thread is about Sovereign, they felt they could mention that they're not.
  17. I think it's been trying, but I'm seeing it blank out often which is making it slightly more annoying.
  18. I don't know about 1b+ on cost. I just went thru a couple of my builds and maybe would get up to that if I went thru the auction house for all of it? For example: An electrical/MA blaster of mine has for enhancements: PVP: 7 Very Rare: 24 Regular: 40 (Luck of the gambler, Numina, etc...) Basic IO: 5 ATO: 12 Winter: 6 Now if went out and bought all those via the auction house at buy it now prices, maybe a billion. Since I tend to collect a lot of recipes, etc... I tend to craft and sometimes convert, so I might have bought around 50 million (and spent a bunch on crafting, but still cheaper than buying outright)
  19. Ninja Run, Athletic Run, and Beast Run do the same thing, but holding down the jump key doesn't do what you say it does. Are you turning on a Jump pack (or the Steam version) for your double jump effect?
  20. Hence, no icon. And Yin worked correctly since they had a variety of ATs. Mirror Image had to be four or more of the same AT.
  21. Mirror Image only works if all members of the team are the same AT.
  22. If there's something wonky in your memory, running it at higher quality settings probably does have a better chance of triggering a problem.
  23. As Sovera stated, the trigger is by the stairs, not the door itself. I've teleported to the door and hung out. You can also port past the archway once inside which will not trigger the cut scene. (If for some reason you want to rescue Azuria without the dupes being up first.)
  24. I did note my Widow that also has Celerity: Stealth gets up to 85' which seems good enough to walk around the hive without agro.
