I had a concept and threw it together, now I can't seem to find any builds anywhere. Did I pick the worst possible combo? it seems like they would pair well, and plays pretty strong so far. But why is it so unpopular?

Post your best costume designs here!
Mr. Apocalypse replied to ChanelNo2's topic in Art & Multimedia
I have not seen much action in this thread lately, so I decided to get back to playing with the CC again. Here is my idea for a electric/fire dom The Not so Hot Girl She is a little disgruntled for being rejected one to many times. She is now Shockingly Hot and will prove those who rejected her wrong!- 7733 replies

Is Market Inefficiency Causing Salvage Price Spiral?
Mr. Apocalypse replied to Herotu's topic in The Market
The only salvage I sell on AH is orange, yellow and white are pointless, they get sold to NPC store. I buy everything a for a few more inf than what the last one sold for. I dont have time to wait around for the market, so I bump until I win what I want. It's not like it is real money and it is too easy to continually sit on billions of inf to worry about the market price swings. if something sell for 10M to day and the 20M tomorrow, I don't complain I just buy it for that price and move along to my next thing. Even if someone is trying to corner the market, your low bid will still eventually net you a reward, you just might have to wait a bit longer. in my experience salvage usually always gets back to reasonable costs withing a day or two. sometimes within minutes of seeing crazy high prices across the board. The AH code is also a hot mess and there are many reporting bugs when it comes to availability and price. -
I am a 10 at using the costume creator, about a 3 or less at everything else.

I enjoyed it despite its overbearing "girl power" vibe. Rosario Dawson owns the character and if not for her, I would not have really liked the series as much. All in all it gets a 6 out of 10 for me. Watchable, enjoyable, but forgettable also.

Thanks for the input. I made the changes you suggested. I also switched out the Preemptive optimization set in consume for Synapse's shock to boost up my status protections for recharge and run speed. Low Down Leprechaun - Dominator - Plant Control_Fiery Assault_Ice Mastery -2.mbd

Below is my plant/fire/ice build. I have yet to build it on live. I am seeking any advice on how to pump up its numbers before I start buying stuff. I played this toon up to lvl 50 then moved on to other things. It is time to slot it with the goods, but have no real direction as to what to do. This Mid's build was made several years ago, so probably could use some changes. https://mids.app/build/preview/dzlHC2W1vFs.htm Low Down Leprechaun - Dominator - Plant Control_Fiery Assault_Ice Mastery.mxd

Any Order Sixty-Six Alumni - Guardian Server
Mr. Apocalypse replied to Mr. Apocalypse's topic in Reconnect
Bumping back to the top, still hoping to connect with some old friends. -
This so far has been the best I can come up with for a feather look. I want a rooster tail and feathers 🙂

I mentioned this in the suggestions the other day, but it probably belongs here more than there. Can we please have auras that have the animations run in reverse so it appears that whatever effect the particular aura does is absorbing into instead of emitting from the character.

Great games that were completely wrecked by the end
Mr. Apocalypse replied to Techwright's topic in Video Games
I came to COH after the Dark times, after the NGE SWG could have been so much more than John Smedley and the dips over at SOE would allow it to be. They were so fixated on stealing people from the WOW playerbase, rather that enhancing the core design elements. It is the only MMO I have played where the playerbase sustained a true resource based economy. I agree the Jedi unlock path was a joke though. I wish they would have stuck to cannon and never had played jedi in the game. instead they turned it into a sausage fest of jedi, all running around at the same time. The NGE made it worse, by allowing you to be jedi from level 1.. -
One more new bind command.. PAUSE
Mr. Apocalypse replied to BlackSpectre's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I'm not saying adding a pause command will or will not break the game, but I really don't see the need for it myself. I will say that I have seen the power of a fairly unrestricted macro system where pauses and timers were allowed. The macro system in Star wars galaxies was so powerful you could completely automate characters have them walk about to different positions on the map, and even interact with, provide services and make sales/ trades with other players all while AFK.. it was a bad thing, and it was IMO one of the many reasons why that game failed. I even wrote a series of macros that allowed me to 3 box and control 3 characters simultaneously from one keyboard and mouse using the macro system to read chat logs and perform commands based on the character strings the macros output. I am glad this macro system is not as powerfull as that one. -
Let me tell you about this thing I discovered.. It's called Altitis, I know what you might be thinking, but it is not that bad. It is a little harder to shake than a full blown heroin addiction, but a lot more fun!

Replace Ms. Liberty as the Atlas Park trainer.

Replace Ms. Liberty as the Atlas Park trainer.
Mr. Apocalypse replied to Star Light's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
wow, that one flew over your head. -
I just think of myself as a geek. I am interested in everything. I don't consider myself smart enough to be a nerd. I have been refered to as a polymath by a few coworkers, I do tend to disagree with them, but due to my in-depth understanding of the topic, I know its the truth. 😉 Cliff Clavin is my Hero.

thanks for all the pointers. This is one of those builds where the costume choices/character dictated the power set choices and AT. I probably would not have chose these together otherwise, simply due to the lack of available builds to be readily found.

Making the "Weave" power more accessible
Mr. Apocalypse replied to Shiro-Nethermore's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
To me, It's all about power creep, where does it end. may as well just demand it be made inherent. it affects everyone, obviously if the requirement was removed, I would ditch boxing/kick. my problem is opening the door for an additional power to be selected, and the unintended consequences that go along. It seems the only way to make people happy in a game is to continually remove all difficulties or completely change the dynamics of the game in order to remove some little obstacle in the way of their own desire for perfection. The name of the pool is"fighting" so shouldn't some aspect of fighting be selected in the process. -
have a great idea for the auras. Can we please have some auras that run the animations in reverse. Where it looks like our character is absorbing instead of emitting whatever the aura is supposed to represent.

Making the "Weave" power more accessible
Mr. Apocalypse replied to Shiro-Nethermore's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Absolute Hard NO! enough with removing requirements for things. Boxing/Kick is the price you pay, if you want the benefits of tough and weave! -
I have only managed to find a single build in all my searching. Boy oh Boy, did I really pick an unpopular combo. Here is the build I found, any suggestions on changes. [/img] View This Build In MRB
