I would think /Bio over /EA but EM is probably the best single target dps on a Scrapper or stalker.
-
Gloom and dark obliteration are good and are what i usually use. Some of the other Epics are ok though if you have a theme like Pyre, Mu etc.
-
It is a shame you don't want the patron attacks. Rage works very well with them.

Hybrid was on.

Would some one be so kind and post a End game Rad/SS tank build.

If the -resist debuff was a more passive effect then how would Sonic attack fair? Will the debuffs keep stacking into the negatives?? I think i asked this question a long time back but have forgotten the answer :P. -
SS/Bio Brute T4 musc, T4 ageless, T4 assault. Degen. Best time in 5 pylons was 87 seconds. Worst time 96 seconds. Proc build. Might be room for improvement in adding more +recharge.

Gobbledigook replied to DRoddo's topic in Tanker
More +recharge works very well with Bio so you can use Ablative, DNA siphon and Parasitic more often. Recharge will also boost dps as a bonus. This will benefit Bio more than a little extra regen/health. 6 slot the preventive medicine in Ablative. Parasitic slots could be reduced. Add more LotG. 6 slot taunt seems a waste. Slot the attacks more. Chasing +health is not the the best way to build Bio imo. The clickies are what will save your life. -

So they could increase the resists in Resilience a bit more then turn Instant Healing into a toggle that gives regen constantly and as you lose health the regen increases, or something like that? I think they would need to be careful if they ported it to Tankers with their higher resists/health and ATO. But losing the resists to buff the regen doesn't seem right to me.
-
Turn reconstruction into an auto power that heals every 20 seconds or so, unaffected by +recharge or when a certain percentage of health is lost. Possibly with the more health lost the greater the heal. Turn MoG into a death preventive power that when health drops to zero instead of dying MoG activates with a 20% heal. Hopefully giving time to recover health and avoid death entirely. A cooldown on this with no +recharge would be required. Just throwing ideas out.

Good soloist that isn't "selfish" while teaming?
Gobbledigook replied to biostem's topic in Archetypes
Don't mention procs with that big proc thread going on in General lol. Fortunata/NWidow is a great team asset often unnoticed by many and a pretty good soloist. I have yet to be on a bad team with my fortunata, whether that is pure luck or the amazing buffs the Widow brings. I have not tried a Spider yet but i presume they are pretty good also. -
What you don't /LFG "Sitter LF a farm"? 😛

Older thread but i made this on mids just for the hell of it. Certainly not a dps build. Just switch on the 3 combo Form of the Body Skysplitter to boost the resists. I suggest we start the name calling and get this thread closed asap before it does actually go that way 😛

I don't see a problem with them. As said you lose set bonuses using them, Tanker probably isn't the best example with it's naturally high resists and the ATO, which i presume is shown in the build above? Perhaps show other examples such as a Scrapper. At least they offer good build diversity rather than everyone just slotting the same sets. A procced out tanker will never reach procced out scrapper dps limits nor will a scrapper reach tanker survival limits. Scrappers tend to be at least twice as fast on a Pylon than a Tanker but Tankers are more survivable, seems about right to me. Tweaking them is ok but a flat out 75% nerf as you suggested @Bill Z Bubba is just wrong lol, they wouldn't be used at all unless for set bonuses. If you refuse to use them then that is your choice. Content is being made that does need them and not the older content that was mostly made before procs were even introduced or so easily available as they are now.
-
Pylon is not actual gameplay though. I can and have made characters to take down a Pylon fast with Proc help but would i want to play it in general... .probably not. I use the Pylon for what is possible but i will tweak it down to make it more playable/survivable until i'm happy with it. You do lose a lot of set bonuses using procs but some AT's may get away with it more than others. Ranged that keep out of danger or Tankers with high survival with their ATO proc for example. Everyone can use procs just the same. May as well remove them if you overly nerf them.
-
You can minimize them . Adding a small Regen DR or DDR is barely a buff more a QoL. 9% on capped doesn't add anything and they are easy to cap. It adds some defence depending on number of mobs that isn't worth much when it is easily reduced to zero and a small max health helping regen that can also easily be reduced to zero. Adding a little DR in Defensive only lets the defences stay up maybe a couple seconds longer. At times the only thing keeping them alive is the absorb shield. S/L T does have resistance but the others resistances are much weaker. Exotic damage and debuffs are not uncommon, I don't see any of the other sets have their survival buffs debuffed so much without any sort of resistance. Offensive Bio is good but it should not be all about that stance. I would even be in Favour of having a timer when switching stances so you can't switch at will.
-
I think you are referring to offensive Bio really. Defensive Bio is not the same. You give up a lot for defensive stance. A small amount of DDR added to Defensive Only is not really going to make defensive Bio OP. I just think it would be a nice bonus for defensive. The set is heavily prone to debuffs and i don't think Offensive stance Bio justifies that. Rad has an absorb and an AoE heal and very good resists and +damage and added nuke. Rad also has Regen DR but it isn't really a heal set it's a resist set yet Bio doesn't have that either. So Bio is getting unloved just because of one stance, Offensive which deserves nothing as you say. But Defensive stance does need a little something whether it is Regen DR or DDR. Perhaps it would be better to add some Regen Dr to WP/Defensive Bio rather than DDR as it would be more fitting. When asked which are the Strongest or most survivable sets i don't think WP features at the top yet it doesn't really bring much else to the table other than being easy to play. I think some Regen DR would do the set some good.
-
I found the endurance hard to manage whilst leveling my Fortunata if i ran too many toggles, Bane is probably the same? The damage could be a problem also if it's taking a while to kill mobs, using up endurance and taking damage. Procs would help whilst leveling also. Conditioning isn't very good either. Once i got a build going and end management sorted i could run the toggles and it became quite resilient. Bane should be the same...stick with it 🙂 They are more a support class than solo.
-
Changed a few things on my Fortunata. I changed the interface, alpha and Hybrid. I also added a few procs but the build is still very defensive. Fortunata T4 Musc Radial P, T4 Degen Core, T4 Assault Radial (not sure if core or radial is best on a fortunata) Hybrid on and No pets. 2 minutes 19 seconds. Average is probably around 2.25. quite consistent in it's times. Not the best but not bad for a build with over 60% defence. It could go to 2 mins or below if built more aggressively i think. I keep getting like 2-3 seconds short of of downing the pylon but it regens just before, adding more time. If i can shave that 2-3 seconds off i think it will be more like 2.05 or thereabouts. Just shows how adding a few procs and changing a few things and incarnates can make a big difference to times.
