  1. And no matter what, the engine will be outdated about the time it's actually usable.
  2. Highlander: There could only, EVER be ONE. Everything else was...ah screw it. THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE! Nothing more needs to be said.
  3. Yeah. I'm not a big fan of "Bring me X Bear Asses" missions. I'll do it to progress in arc missions if I must. Beyond that though, I tend to leave non-arc missions alone. The nice thing is that the mission text is now color coded to denote arc missions vs non-arc missions. So selecting missions has become much easier and straightforward.
  4. If only what they did was this awesome (hint: the shark thing wasn't). Essentially this was enough to completely make me stop caring about Dr. Who. The way I've stopped caring about things like Star Trek or Star wars. I don't HATE it (anymore). I simply don't care anymore. To paraphrase Catherine Tate. I can't be "bovvered".
  5. Okay; THAT was clever.
  6. Unfortunately it's not something I can definitively diagnose without access to the machine. Until then, the very best I can do is pull SWAGs from dark places that smell of feces...
  7. Ping is a measure of NETWORK performance. Not CPU performance. Fiddling CPU priority does exactly what goggles do. The GM's previous advice aside. Basically anything running Integrated Intel graphics is going to be "meh" at best. Yes, NIC performance CAN be brought down by bad CPU, but that's HIGHLY ABNORMAL. It's just as likely that Win11 (which I don't have a high opinion of) could be a culprit. Try TEMPORARILY turning off the WIndows (and any antivius-specific) firewalls and see if changes anything. Also, are you playing via wired network? Or through wifi?
  8. We also haven' the Alpha slot. +Def? +Res? If you really want to see how absolutely durability, look at the "Mo Durable" variant.
  9. Generally, with a bit of minimal +Rech, the default works well enough for the durability with the small rregen bump. If you want a little more stick the Preventative Medicine in there.
  10. It's okay. It's a great game with lots of options. And lots of opinions about "best". Hell, even Statesman had some odd notions that the majority of the game should be handled in street sweeping....😳 We've learned a few things since then. Even GMs aren't infallible. NCSoft goofed by shuttering the game. And when it comes to Invuln Tanks, Hyperstrike is ALWAYS RIGHT! Keep all of that in mind and it's all good! 😁😁😁
  11. What will REALLY bake your noodle. Kick really is NOT meant to be used. It's really only there to access Tough and Weave. Even if it's mostly useless, it bows to a basic tenet that the power and should have some urge towards uti8lity. Punch really doesn't have any beyond "Proc For Something like damage." And you're still ignoring that build priorities don't have to agree with your basic ideology.
  12. In some cases, sure. Again, as I said, you can flex it in a bunch of diffferent directions. And I'm sorry, Unstop is still a delayed suicide button. You're better off augmenting your Defenses and Resists in other ways. But if you want to go that way, the build still provides you with options. As for "Crazy Short Of Perma" Crippling your Defense/Resists to move faster. "I can do EVERYTHING FASTER THAN YOU!" "Including die....?
  13. Here's the data chunk, since Mids export STILL DOES NOT WORK. 14. Invuln is relatively easy. Jumping is what I normally spec for a travel power, when I feel the need to have something more than Ninja (or whatever) run.
  15. Hero Corps is essentially a private corporation for superhuman services. They're a private, commercial offering, where simply registering as a hero has you working with local, state and national government.
  16. Agreed, Invuln gives you lots of options. And the one plaint I've seen is "No End Management" is something that simply doesn't really factor all that large in a high end build. And you can take it in a lot of directions. "Mo Durable" is just an experiment in taking the baseline of Invuln and jacking up the values, making it MORE of what it already is. Hyperstrike's build is basically a step BACK from the maxed out values, adding higher Recharge, a little Ranged damage, or another AoE and going in a scrapper-style direction.
  17. You know those super films where bad guys hole up in a bank, and a minute later there's a montage of bad guys getting forcibly ejected from the building (without considerations for obstacles like windows, doors or concrete walls)? That's Tanker Tuesday.
  18. I wake up with this every morning... A couple Aleve take the edge off...
  19. Heheh. "This build SUUUUCKS! Oh wait. I didn't have Rage on auto! *CLICK* AHHHHH! MUCH BETTER! NEVER MIND!"
  20. For a second I read that as "Incelot" A knight style character with a "Men In Tights" style chastity belt... "No Ding Ding vissout ze ring!"
  21. *Stops using Incarnate Buffed Tyrant like Bamm Bamm Rubble* Gee. I dunno. That shit all cons grey to me...
  22. Spines would have to be "Pierce (GET IT!?!?!?!?) Brosnan"
  23. The main problem with Vista was that it was a massive change in UI. Win8 did it worse. And Server 2012 (WHO THE 8LEEEEEP18 PUTS A HALF-ASS TABLET INTERFACE ON A SERVER?) still worse.
  24. Worse. At least ME more or less worked (ish).
