  1. You can sell 10 items in all 200 transaction slots (2000 items total) all at once. No issue there. But when collecting your Inf, if you click "get all Inf," you'll only collect a portion of those transactions at a time. I do not know why that is - math is hard for the Wentworth's and Black Market folks? 😄 But you could click and collect from each one individually in shorter time than it takes to click "Get all Inf" and wait the short lock out period - depending on how your carpel tunnel is or what your laziness / impatience meter reads. 😄
  2. You can go to Mercy Island from Galaxy City tutorial? It's been a long time and don't remember that.
  3. I love Fold Space and use it on my melee toons. It can be quite handy for when someone scatters the mob with a KB, or foes run from a debuff, or you want to add a second or third group to the mix. I find it's useful almost every time it's up and ready. I also use it on several blasters and doms.
  4. Yes, but that also defeats the point as well... that's still instantly becoming a certain faction instead of living as one thing for a while and then experiencing some stuff, and then choosing a side. The only part of the game where you get to live in an area factionless before choosing a side is the Praetorian tutorial. There, you start as nothing, do a bit of story, and then choose. COH and COV, you've made the choice as you enter the game, and then only through tips and the morality system (later on at lvl 20) do you "live in an area for a while" and then switch sides or double down and remain loyal to whatever side (or play in a greyer area). You do that in Praetoria too - you run a couple arcs and at the end, you get a moral choice to stay or change - and if you cahnge, you get another option to still reamain loyal to your previous faction by "spying" or "ratting" on the other side.
  5. Correct - the Hamidon is definitely still alive in Praetoria. As you state, many references of DE beyond the sonic fences, but it's also stated at the end of the Underground Trial by Desdemona when we find out that Cole didn't defeat Hami and only made a deal, and that the renewed battle with Primal Earth has angered the Hamidon and cannot be "dissuaded" any more. And you are also correct in that the Resistance has no plan for dealing with the Hamidon directly. BUT the Resistance does aid in the evacuation of Praetorians coming to Primal Earth. We do see evidence of evacuation of Praetoria with Marchand (Primal)'s arc "The new Praetorians" and we also get to revisit the ruined Praetorian city in Number Six' arc.
  6. Sorry you're not a fan. I personally like all the content. But i see how you might think / feel that way. Yes, creating a character and then right from the gate, you join the resistance or remain loyal. But you do the same in heroes and villains too - you pick either side upon creation. The difference with GR is, in the Praetorian tutorial, you get some decent writing and little bit of story to lead you to either sympathize with the resistance under ghoul attack and being mistreated by the PPD, or you agree with the PPD that they are nefarious terrorists plotting something underground and you be loyal to Cole. So, you can pick your side after that. Hero and villain tutorials have none of that. You pick your side upon creation and then either enter the game or do a tutorial. At least Villainside has a story to "breaking out" but you're still a villain at the end. I love Praetoria for that alone and I always do the tutorial because of that. One of the brilliant things about Going Rogue and Praetorian content is that you can switch sides and "spy" on the other. So, you could start as Loyal - like a "normal" enriche-soaked Praetorian would be - but then switch to Resistance and then report back to Marchand on what they are doing. Or perhaps, you do find out about Cole's true nature and how people are sheep and his bosses are not the heroes everyone thinks they are. And it goes the other way too... Start as Resistance, and spy on the Loyalists reporting back to Calvin - and perhaps you might see some of the brilliance behind Cole's drastic means for protecting the people from the Hamidon and keeping them happy, safe, and comfortable in such a dystopian world despite the drama behind the scenes. And as for Cole blowing the whole place up - well, Primals have systematically dismantled everything he built. They stopped his invasion, defeated his armies and lieutenants, they invaded Praetoria taking over section by section, they've freed the people and turned them against him - so his last ditch attempt to maintain control and defeat the Primals, he destroys the city and absorbs the remaining souls there for ultimate power to vanquish his enemies. That's such a classic supervillain move. And that... that is the perfect kind of villainous "twat" he is. 😄 Going Rogue allows you to make probably more choices as a character (even in that sandbox) than Heroes / Villains does. COH / COV allows you to go back and forth and live in the grey areas of being a vigilante or rogue, which is nice - and it's getting even better with all the newer content. But GR not only gives you that ability, but the extra layer of still remaining true to the previous faction you were despite the content you are running is just brilliance. ...for that, GR and Praetoria will always be my favorite. Again, sorry you don't find it as interesting or fun. But that's okay! Plenty of game out there to enjoy. 🙂 ...another reason this game is one of the greatest that ever was, is, and will be.
  7. Oh yeah, I can imagine your end woes. I went for Electric Epic pool for theme, but also for Power Sink to help before Purples and catalyzations. I will probably drop snow storm in the lvl 49 slot and pick up Energize instead and drop in a +5 boosted generic Rech IO for those times that I'm waiting for Power Sink to recharge. Snow Storm was a throw away power, and just another thing to drain my end.
  8. For what it's worth, here's my Storm/Storm build. Love this toon! I'm surprised at how survivable and devasting it can be. I focused more on sets instead of procs, ranged defense, recharge, and of course, endurance because it's an end hog. 😄 Miss Monsoon - Corruptor (Storm Blast - Storm Summoning).mbd
  9. The Amazing Dacy does it again! Thanks, Dacy!!
  10. I 2nd and 3rd what @lemming and @biostem stated above. And additionally.... As stated above, 0.67 mag KB = KD. So, adding the KB>KD procs in your powers is a wasted slot. Those procs lower a power's higher mag KB (3 mag, for instance) down to 0.67 mag, and thus making it KD instead. So, if the power already does 0.67mag, you're not gaining anything by slotting those procs.
  11. Here's my Ill/Storm build. It's from back before all the level changes for powers, so you'll probably pick up much more earlier than this build. But I focused on recharge for perma-PA. Prof. Phantasm - Controller (Illusion Control).mbd
  12. And my FF/Water Defender had an accident with Moscato Rosé 😄 ...seems there are a bunch of us out there with similar backgrounds. lol
  13. Love it! Very similar origin to my FF/Water Defender.... 😄
  14. This *IS* normal. Siege needs a certain amount of DPS / slows to overcome his heal and recharge rate of that heal. That is the challenge of him. Also, not all content is soloable by all ATs and all powersets. Sometimes, you have have to elicit help or use large amounts of inspires, or a lot of temp powers. But using inspires and temp powers, you at least have still "solo'd" him. And I'm not sure why using a tray full of red inspires is a bad thing. Or using pet temp powers, signature summons, or other temp powers to your advantage - that is why they and inspires are there in the first place. Just because you have to tap into other resources on one particular toon / AT / powersets, doesn't mean the fight is broken or that AT / toon / powersets are broken. The beauty of this game is that there is an Achilles heel to everything - you just found that toon's. But you overcame it. Kudos! But that doesn't mean anything is broken or wrong.
  15. This is easily fixed.... You can do a collection of 2 chests (that award nothing) and then chain it to a separate collection of a 3rd chest that will award the clue.
  16. Yes! In the Art & Multimedia Section, there is this thread....
  17. All stories have a beginning, a middle, and an end. That is the arc. A TV series has this overall, but also each episode as a beginning, middle, and end too. So, not only should each mission give some sort of arc, so should the series of missions - if you are creating a "Story" with your AE missions, then yes, you'd need at least 3 missions as Act 1, 2, and 3. If you need more ground to tell your story... then use 4 or 5 missions. Or even use multiple arcs with 3+ missions each.
  18. Both are great sets. And they both pair well with anything and each other. It's a fun combo to play and yeah, style points are huge. 🙂
  19. It's actually more than 2 mins to get those badges, even at 50, to die, then fight to burn off the dept even with patrol XP. I know you were not being literal, but it is actually about the same time to do all that as it is street sweeping lower lvls for a defeat badge at lvl 50. Again, 2 ways to accomplish the same thing. So, preference of dying for the badge vs. not is a factor, imo - and maybe to others as well. And also, OP did state: "I'd like to put this "arc" together using the lowest levels possible!" Meaning most efficient at lvl and not at lvl 50. Incurring debt at lower levels when you don't have all your powers or are fully slotted can take even longer to burn off than just doing the defeat badges for Freedom Phalanx Reserve. Clearly, getting all the Mayhem mish's explores is the easiest and fastest way to get the TFC accolade (Invader Accolade) - provided you have someone who has the contact unlocked. Some do not. Some , or certain characters in one's list, never go villainside (I have a few like this). I always do the TFC TFs anyway - I want those badges and the merits. So, it's no biggie to get the defeat badges through the TFs as I lvl instead of street sweeping. For me, it's more about overall efficiency on the greater collection badges - and I know that's not what the OP is here and it is only focusing on the efficiency of the 2 accolades. And for the record, I think I've only once ever gotten the Invader accolade through the mayhem mish's (maybe twice). It feels like cheating to me, but clearly it isn't as the Devs put it into the game and know people can get that accolade at lvl 1. 😄 But I figure, on practically all of my toons, I can wait until lvl 35 to get the accolade with Numina TF. But again, Invader is clearly easier and quicker than TFC.
  20. Many ways to skin this cat. Certainly if all you ever want is to only get those two acco's knowing exactly where those specific explores and plaques are in the zones may save a couple mins of your time. But if you don't already know them by rote, you also waste a lot of time copying and pasting or typing up coordinate thumbtacks or navigating popup menus that might them - until you have them memorized. Otherwise, just open up vidiotmaps and go get everything - it only takes a few secs more per zone. And then you're set for other accolades and badges later, if you choose to get them - and then you don't have to try and remember which ones you got or didn't get which is a HUGE waste of time overall. A few extra secs or a min now, saves a ton of time and frustration later. As far as defeats... yes, *IF* you're higher level fighting greys through street sweeping, it is easy. However OP was talking about using lowest levels possible, so that means being lower level and not fighting greys for street sweeping. But if you're going to street sweep Tanks for Tankbuster - Terra Volta is better as they are 10-15 lvls lower than Creys. And Echo: Faultline for Gearsmasher - yes, that's the best place for gears in the wild - it's still a nightmarish tedious task. I've done it. And when you get a lot that only have 1-2 gears per boss defeat... it just makes it that much longer and mind-numbingly boring. But yes, doable. 🙂 I'd still rather run a Synapse and I hate that TF - but it and Posi 1&2 where you will get your Gearsmasher badge goes towards TF Commander. (Yes, there the whole villainside way to get same acco in 10 mins *IF* you have a lvl 50 villain that can upnlock it for you - blah, blah, blah. But that's not an option for all - so collecting defeats in TFs can be very efficient overall too.) And High Pain Threshold is not optimal to get instead of Freedom Phalanx, imo. It's relatively easy other than having to die multiple times and pay off debt. Many (like myself) do not like that one bit. But certainly, your method/pattern works. Great thing about this game - many ways to accomplish the same thing in roughly the same time/effort/etc. 🙂
  21. Cherry picking explores and plaques out of a zone is a waste of time and energy - not efficient at all. Just get them all, collect your 5 merits along the way (and accolade for getting all explores in a zone). The other explores and plaques are useful for other accolades and badges too... so, again, best to just claim them all at once so you don't have to try and cherry pick the others later on. I will go zone by zone as I level up and when I've gotten all explores and plaques in a zone, I hit reveal to get rid of the fog of war - any zone that hasn't been revealed, I know I need explores or plaques. If it is revealed, then I know I've gotten them all later on when hunting other accos or badges. For the others.... Spelunker Badge If via flashback, Teleporting to contact is a waste of time as you have to travel through Steel at level (albeit a short distance), zone into Perez, and then travel to the door. Start the flashback and port into your quick travel base, and then zone into Perez directly. Less travel time, and typically, the door is closer to the base portal rather than the Steel Canyon gate. The defeats Typically faster and easier to get through TFs vs. slogging through street sweeping. It's also more XP, merits, and a badge. Save the street sweeping for afterwards getting the last few that you didn't get in the TF. Freedom Phalanx Tankbuster - Yin TF, or even better, the Sister Psyche TF through Ouro Gearsmasher - Posi 1 and 2 will get you Gearsmasher and if not... Synapse surely will. Unveiler - Pandora's Box last chapter with the yeager contact in Steel Canyon is best source for them. have to be level 40 min, but I wait to lvl 41, set to -1x8 (easier to kill and fakes only spawn at lvl 40+, hence me being lvl 41) and set to no bosses (solo) and you can defeat LT fakes and they still count (even defender and controllers can do this solo). If you have a teammate(s), they will then spawn as bosses, but they're still -1, so not so bad. You can get 25-35 fakes in one run. So reset the first mish 3 or 4 times to get the badge. Atlas Medallion Silver Bullet and Slayer badges - run the first 2 mish's of Moonfire at x8 and you'll be close to getting the badges, then it's a simple hunt 25 (give or take) of each in Striga and you're done. These aren't hard to get accolades and can be gotten at lvl 1 (although xp would level you up as you go) if you have teammates willing to do the defeats (by street sweeping) for you and has the actual non-ouro / non-flashback Spelunker mish. 🙂
  22. Shrouded and Multidimensional badges tend to not give the "Badge Earned" (or whatever it says) yellow text floating across your screen like other badges do when you get them. These badges just silently and quietly add to your list without you knowing, unless you spot it on the "Most Recent" tab as soon as you do whatever it is to get it awarded.
  23. I wanted the set bonuses and not enough extra slots for them.
  24. Well, clearly it is weird to you if you're asking. 😄 But for me, no, it isn't.
  25. You can. Make sure the star is Red (not Yellow) after clicking "Select Mission" and you'll transport to the mission you want. If you hit "Select Mission" and the star remains yellow, then go to a co-op zone or a zone of the same alignment as the mission and re-"Select Mission" to turn the star Red. You'll go tot hat door 100% of the time. Otherwise, using the power with nothing selected or the mission star being "Yellow" - indicated it's highlighted and actually NOT selected - will perhaps send you to another mission on your list. This is not a bug and works as intended. You may disagree, but the power cannot read your mind and will do its job and send you anywhere from your mission list, unless you specifically tell it to go to a particular mission. 🙂
