Consider this - Storm Summoning mainly focuses on debuffs and damage. It lacks a self-heal, so you may want a blast set that provides that, meaning dark blast or water blast. Of the 2, I think dark blast provides additional debuffs, (which are the strongest on defenders), a self heal, and even a hold. Water blast would probably yield better damage, and if you;re going for a storm-summoner e, may fit better. If the self heal isn't that important to you, then ice blast is a solid choice, with great hard and soft controls, and some great AoE, while elec blast may fight thematically with your emphasis on litghning storm.

I'm of a mind that it was a "look, here are steps we've taken to keep the game T-rated" kind of PR thing, more than how creative players can work around it. That being said, I vaguely recall a discussion on how some parts of the game treat colors additively or something, in that applying a color necessarily causes it to blend with the existing underlying color, which is why some colors, when applied to faces, don't match how they look when applied to other parts...

Maybe the set could provide a global reduction in KB strength, which if stacked enough, provides the desired effect, like how other sets provide a small bonus to global recharge or something... EDIT: To clarify the above, I mean that you'd need multiple of the bonuses to get the full KB->KD effect, and not just a single slotting of the set.

I think a better option would be to introduce a set that is basically energy blast but with a different secondary effect. Alternatively, maybe we could get another option or 2 to convert KB->KD - either as another IO set, an incarnate like others mentioned, or perhaps some sort of "power transformation" pool that provides different effects to your other powers, one among them being to convert KB->KD.

Why not jus have everything in 1 place, though, whether that's Discord instead of these forums, so be it? If the devs are working on something, then, since they're the ones running the show, it's "official". Are you saying that there's no "PR Presence" on Discord? Is it just an unmoderated free-for-all over there? The cynic in me sees this kind of thing and thinks "there's some degree of obfuscation going on"...

Was it ever stated why the "Official" forums aren't where that stuff is located? Does Discord offer other tools or features necessary to the work they're doing?

I would say something like an invuln/elec tanker with Mu Mastery recolored + the Ionic Incarnate power.

While I appreciate the mash-up, the bigger issue may be that there's a real supermodel with that name, (though the different spelling of "Electra" may be different enough). Why not Electra Sandiego?

Well, wasn't that the thinking behind the "Pages", as opposed to full-on updates? Another point of contention is that what one person thinks is a "QoL improvement", another deems a "dumbing-down" of the game...

There's a single forehead eye option - don't see why we couldn't get a cluster with even more...

Would a character taking a vow of silence preclude them from using a simple text-to-speech device in-game, or would that undermine the spirit of such an vow? Similarly, handing any interested party a little card explaining the situation and directing them to call a 3rd party also seems like it may go against that, too. I wonder if such a character trait would be more trouble than it is worth, outside of explicitly full-time RP groups...

Consider an elec blast/bio armor sentinel - you get some control, some solid attacks, and with the elec or Mu APP/PPP, additional AoE, an ally heal if you go with the APP, or an elec pet if you go Mu. I have a necro/elec mastermind that is quite fun to play, too - who doesn't love shocking zombies to make them stronger!

Y'know what may be an interesting addition to make, using excess incarnate materials - something akin to an attuned generic IO, which scales with your character level, even if they do very low-level content. No set bonuses or anything, but a consistent, level-appropriate bonus.

Here's what I would tell you - check out the page for the set, and see if there are any combos you're not interested in, then skip the the related powers, accordingly.

Well, the Mastermind ones are an interesting case - the 2-set bonus is a boost to global recharge speed, so you can have 3 of them, and when upgraded, that adds up to a 30% bonus! The Stalker one that gives a chance of instantly recharging build up is a real game changer.

Consider an ice/earth blaster - you'll have a ton of controls and other tools to keep you standing, plus some extra acc and perception, not to mention a nice HoT and some solid damage. Throw the stealth power and perhaps stack it with a stealth IO, and you'll be golden!

I know this is an older post, but just a word of warning about fire blast on sentinels - The power "Blazing Blast" has this weird repel/knockback/hold mechanic ingrained in it, which I find to be very off-putting. Besides that, best of luck!
