  1. Well, then those cops are wieners!
  2. Collect the whole set!
  3. You... you know who the OP of this thread is, yes?
  4. I believe "The Coming Storm" was to deal with a group called "The Battalion", with the Shivans from the Galaxy City tutorial being the first wave. AFAIK, it never progressed beyond that in-game...
  5. Absorb powers basically grant an extra layer of HP that gets deducted from before your actual HP - it's sort of like an ablative shield.
  6. I really like the improvements they made to necromancy, so that's my primary of choice. The tougher decision would be which secondary to go with. I very much like kinetics, but I also find its reliance on enemies to be burdensome. In the same vain, while elec affinity is great, its chaining mechanic also adds a layer of complexity that may not be to everyone's liking. Pain domination has some great healing and buffs, benefits you as well, and world of pain can just about be made permanent. I don't have any significant experience with thermal radiation, but it appears to have a great balance of resists, (which necromancy pets already have), and heals, but lacks world of pain's ability to buff yourself...
  7. But what if YOU are the vehicle?
  8. I found pain domination to be rather effective, and it offers a bit more soloability, IMO, than empathy. Electrical affinity can also be extremely effective, but I find it a bit trickier to use, what with having to track your stacks of static and trying to get the most out of the chaining effect.
  9. Heck, make a whole array of badges based upon the number of different or similar ATs, instead of specific ones: 4 of 1 AT, 4 of another - "50-50" 2 each of 4 different ATs - "Drawn and Quartered" No repeat ATs - "Rainbow Connection"
  10. This is a problem from 2 angles: 1. Is the one organizing the run stating they are doing a speed run? If not, then that's wholly their fault. If they are, then... 2. If you are joining a group advertising that they are doing a speed run, are you familiar with the TF or trial in question, are you familiar with speed runs, and if the answer to any of those is "no" then it is incumbent upon you to ask.
  11. I never understood why most games don't allow you to doodle and put notes on your own world map, beyond the thumbtack we have now...
  12. Also note that several SoA and Black Scorpion Patron Pool powers have you firing off a ranged attack from a melee weapon, so there's at least some precedent...
  13. I sometimes view the forums on a metered connection, and was wondering if there was any way to disable GIFs or videos that sometimes get posted here. Thanks for your consideration!
  14. @captainstar we esssentially have the Van Helsing costume in the form of the Cybertech jacket, (or whatever it's called), and the steampunk or gunslinger vest. I'm not sure if you can combine the 2, though. With regard to the whips - they're an oft-requested stand-alone set...
  15. That's basically what the ranged claws attacks are, (not that I'm against an entire set centered around such attacks, mind you).
  16. Same here. Perhaps because of the low-ish level of the TF or whatnot, but I've only ever seen them "turtle up" after taking a certain amount of damage...
  17. Things like skirts/kilts should absolutely work with the existing models/meshes.
  18. The only "issue" I have with shield defense is, well, if you don't want a physical shield on your character. That being said, I've seen people use the energy shield option, colored black or dark blue, and it is barely perceptible...
  19. Super reflexes can actually be quite good. If you weren't dead-set on super strength, I'd say give ninjitsu a try on a scrapper, as it has a lot of utility, especially if you're going to do a fair bit of soloing. Bio armor also has some "No FX" options and is quite good.
  20. And chains/barbed wire, for all your Cenobite needs...
  21. We'd also need one for TFs run with no-repeat ATs.
  22. My general approach is to slot level 25 generic IOs upon hitting level 22, then continue to craft and slot them until I hit 50, at which point, I'll start to accrue reward merits or Inf to either fully slot out one of my other builds or just replace those 25 IOs as I go. If you keep them on that initial build, you'll retain their full effectiveness should you choose to do lower level content, (at least to greater degree than if you were trying to use 50+ IOs on a Yin TF or something).
  23. I'd have to double check, but I believe there is a little drop-down selector at the bottom of the map, where you can see all the POIs...
  24. This is the bug reports section. It sounds more like you are making a request/suggestion about how attainment of the badge should work...
  25. Isn't there /ignore and /gignore, for ignoring an individual character and then to ignore someone globally? For reference: https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/List_of_Slash_Commands EDIT: Disregard, I read on to find this: Note: This slash command functions exactly the same as /gignore. Previously, it was possible to ignore a global name but still receive character-to-character messages, and vice-versa. This is no longer possible.
