I liked the first season. I really need to start the second. It's a real mind trip!

Another option would be to roll a mainly human form peacebringer, and use nova & dwarf very sparingly as your character chugging a polyjuice potion.

Gravity/Time controller.

Why not embrace the otherworldly nature of your "Space Genie" and go with radiation armor and fire melee. Leverage ground zero's dual healing/damaging effect, and the tons of extra recovery gamma boost and particle shielding grant you to power those extra toggles, not to mention all the PBAoEs you'd have...
-
Probably water. After that, maybe seismic. If you wanted to go for a different angle, making them a gravity controller, (which is already very blaster-like), could put an interesting twist on the concept...
-
Would it be exploitable, though, if you can reliably trigger them?
-
Did you happen to have tried it on a Sentinel?

The "need" or reason for said disguise, if they are to be included in this proposed event, *is* kind of important, though...
-
Which would be all the more reason for the Drudges to have to intervene in a more direct manner, and on a smaller scale...
-
I've seen them in the Western urban area. Mot Dark Astoria, IMO, qualifies as being drawn between worlds/dimensions/whatnot, so as to involve the Drudges. They seem like a significant enough faction, as do the events there, to get involved...

Aping off the thread regarding a new GM/event for Croatoa, I think a better application may be to add an event to Dark Astoria. Here is my proposal: A sizable group of Drudges appear in Dark Astoria, led by the "Grand Taskmaster", (a non-hostile AV). As they move across the zone, they gather up lost souls and attempt to guide them out from Mot's clutches. They are periodically attacked by groups of Banished Pantheon, and if enough souls remain by the time they get to the other end of the zone, the BP make one final attempt and summon Adamastor, who blocks the portal through which all the lost souls can finally be guided to their final rest. If no Drudges are near the lost souls, they will remain where they are, but will leash onto nearby players and follow them, who can guide them back to the group of Drudges, to resume their journey. Alternatively, maybe the event could grant a "soul jar" temp power, that allows you to capture a lost soul, which can be released at a later location once near the Grand taskmaster. The temp power, even if it contains a soul, goes away whether the event is successful or not. There would have to be some provision put in place to prevent players form capturing the souls merely to grief the event/make it fail, though, (or maybe once freed from their BP captors, the souls simply resume the journey on their own).

And the level cap was 40.

But there are plenty of other zones that don't have their own events or GMs, so why not give them some love?

The Flash (movie) teaser drop
biostem replied to Techwright's topic in Comic, Hero & Villain Culture
My understanding is that elements of the movie would have been setup in the cancelled Batgirl and Supergirl films, but I wouldn't be surprised if the plot was drastically altered to account for that and for Gunn taking over... -
Using existing assets, how about we port *just* the gunslinger cape, (just the back part, minus the side bows and front apron), the tech knight cape, and the Widow cape, (if I'm remembering the part name correctly), as either tail options or cape options. Also, can we get versions of the steampunk belts without the clocks?

I remember running around in beta as my rad/rad defender, basically spamming neutrino bolt, x-ray beam, and radiant aura, with a rikti ship hanging over AP. When the game did go live, I rolled a dm/regen scrapper - all I basically did was street sweep, and I was nigh-unkillable w/ IH as a toggle. I took a break from the game around 2009, but I also have fond memories of playing an ice/stone tanker. I vaguely recall participating in the old mothership raid with that character, (and the naked Rikti!) Besides that, I came back around 2010 or 2011 when the game went F2P, and recall reading which perks were best to spend the tokens on from the time I had paid for sub time previously.

Can we haz 'FULL' coloring or 'Tights' for zombie feets
biostem replied to Troo's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Maybe just do a "thin feet" option, and treat it as a boot/tights instead of showing skin? -
Something like this would better fit Dark Astoria, IMO.

Something like "targetcustomnext alive oil", I'd surmise...

Make the Suggestions Board function like LEGO Ideas
biostem replied to dtjunkie's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
The problem is, liking an idea does not address its feasibility to whether its implementation would fit into the development schedule or resources available. Further, sometimes something being popular is not in the best interest of the game, so that would have to be considered as well... -
I think sorcery is your only option, unless you want to rely on one of the origin powers, like taser or apprentice bauble.

Using power pools changed the game for me
biostem replied to DougGraves's topic in General Discussion
If you are able to rely on your teammates to cover your butt in this way, more power to you! I prefer that extra bit of "insurance"... -
The elemental order pants actually have metallic trim. You'd have to forego the skirt, but you can kind of work around it, (see below): sidera1.costume sidera2.costume

Would could be interesting is if "team teleport" allowed you to drop a teleport gate at one location and a teleport beacon at another, (or 2 gates), and allowed free travel between those to locations to you and your allies. Another option would be to have the power place a beacon, then it switches to a power that recalls you and your team to that beacon. Yet another idea would be to remove it and add an attack power - basically a single target power that teleports you to a targeted enemy and has you deliver a punch, dealing some smashing and energy damage or something. Still another idea could be where you "warp space" in a small area around yourself, acting sort of like a combination of inertial reduction and speed boost for you and your allies, thereby granting increased jump height and movement speed.

I look at it a bit differently - now my [insert character lacking a self-heal here] can devote those inspiration slots to more "fun" ones, instead of greens, and the reliability/ready availability of aid self means I don't have to ponder whether using an insp to top-off my HP would be a waste or not. Of course, a lot depends upon the build in question, and whether they have enough defense or other resources available to use it mid-combat, (though you do tend to notice DoTs a lot more with this approach).
