They still do. PBs get their version of fly, hover, and the new "evasive maneuvers" toggle, while WSs get teleport, recall target, and fold space.

What I'd rather see is a "regular" APP for Kheldians, which granted a status protection power for their human form, (so perma-lightform or dwarf aren't your only options), and perhaps a team buff, enemy debuff, etc.

Power FX are not the same as auras. You'd need another option, similar to how there's dark options with or without the skulls, or regular/soul noir, only one without the dripping ichor effect...

You're in luck! You have several energy sword options. If you wanted to be truer to the damage type, though, energy melee and radiation melee have you covered.

No, keep choosing ANY set and color it to fit your purposes. If you are limiting yourself to "dark sets", then that's on you.

Color any powerset (that allows it) white. Problem solved. Also, dark is not evil!

Look at the Peacebringer primary set, luminous blast. It basically consists of radiation blast, energy blast, energy melee, and a smattering of other repurposed attacks...

You are too hung up on the set or power names. Instead of thinking "light", look to any set that uses energy damage.

I believe empathy can be colored white as well. Kinetics could also work as a light set. Forcefield could be a "hard light" set of sorts.

You'd still have to enter the enh window, hit upgrade, then if any attempts fail, exit out, buy more, and try again, or just buy more than you might need, in that event. A simple right click -> combine -> select what you want would be much faster and a more elegant solution.

I got my obligatory storm blast character to 50, but didn't lament going back to any of a number of others using the more straight-forward sets, some having been in the game since launch...

The difference in CoH is that our characters aren't trying to sell them to some unsuspecting buyer, and ours, by necessity/game mechanics wouldn't have all the properties of the signature characters. Heck, the laws you cited may not even exist in a world where there is likely some piece of tech or simple spell one can use to tell a fake from the genuine article. that being said, I am perfectly fine with getting a "knock-off" version of these weapon models - by restricting the color or other such options. No reason our "Valkyrie fangirl" character couldn't craft herself a spear that looks similar to her hero's...

You can't directly compare comic books to how things would need to be implemented in a game. That being said, there exist precedent, like how Taskmaster has knockoffs of various heroes' weapons. Further, no one is asking for the ability to directly copy a signature character's entire look. Allowing access to Valkyrie's spear weapon model, only without its unique coloration, doesn't mean you actually have Valkyrie's spear.

You're certainly not alone. Not every new set is going to appeal to every player. Focus on the sets you do enjoy, play them to your heart's content, and don't stress those powerset or aspects of the game that you aren't as enthusiastic about.

It'd be significantly simpler and more compact than the enh/IO menu on the test server, so no issues with implementing it. Because that was never part of my suggestion, nor does it provide for the much quicker & streamlined process I suggested. If, for instance, I had 3 level 28 acc enh's and wanted a level 28 def, it'd be a simple and direct conversion, as opposed to having to buy a level 25 and 3 or more others, (allowing for some chance at failure after the first combination), not to mention needing to enter the enhancement slotting window before attaining the final level you wanted, then having to exit and purchase more, if a failure does occur.

Now compare that to how easy it is to combine 3 insps to another of the same tier. 3 of the same type & level to 1 of any other. Yeah there are many types of enh's, so the layout of the menu would have to be optimized.
