Returning Player Help finding Granted Abilities
Glacier Peak replied to Renatos1023's topic in General Discussion
Welcome back! Glad to see a returning player - a lot of quality of life changes have been made since 2012 here on the Homecoming servers. If you're an avid patch note investigator, I would recommend reading through the changes made over the past few Issues (25, 26, and 27) and their "Pages" or more focused updates (i.e., 1, 2, 3, etc.). Check out the fairly updated Homecoming City of Heroes Wiki for all the details: https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Main_Page To answer your specific questions: The Long Range Teleporter (along with the powers referenced below) are part of an improved player travel concept here on Homecoming. If you're interested in a longer in-depth discussion post, I will refer you to the below 'Spoiler' window. Long Range Teleporter is unlocked by the Passport Accolade, which itself is unlocked by collecting an exploration accolade in any zone with a Base Portal (see the "Complete Base Portal List" below for reference), or using the other two methods below; Unlock the Pocket D VIP Gold Club Member badge (for spending 1 hour in Pocket D) and the Long Range Teleporter accolade power will unlock as well. Players can purchase the power for 1,000,000 inf from a Pay 2 Win (P2W) in Paragon City and the Rogue Isles or Transact 4 Victory (T4V) in Praetorian zones. These vendors are in nearly every single zone, so if you open your mini-map, just look for their name/icon and 'check out their wares.' In addition to the above, the below powers are consolidated together in the Fast Travel macro icon which is automatically added to your character when you unlock any of the below powers: Accolades Long Range Teleporter Prestige Travel Supergroup Portal Base Transporter Mission Transporter Day Job Powers Rapid Response Portal Monitor Duty Teleporter Ouroboros Portal Team Transporter Assemble the Team .... and to answer your second question; yes there is a portal to access Cimerora. It is located in the Midnighter Club (see below screenshot). In order to access the Midnighter Club, you will need to either complete the Initiation mission or travel to the Praetorian Night Ward zone and then in to the Midnighter's House to secure the "House Hunter" badge which will subsequently grant you the ability to enter the Midnighter Club in Paragon City/Rogue Isles and then get to Cimerora. Players can also access Cimerora via the Looking for Group or LFG tab on their Chat bar once the zone is unlocked by selecting the "Time's Arrow" Task Force and selecting "Lock the event for your group" and the clicking "Enter" once the que pops up. -
I don't know what bill City Hall didn't pay...

Please add more -
1. It's good for unit morale to see high ranking officers on the front line. Good order and discipline. 2. Nemesis War Horse floats off the ground via its rocket legs. So technically an aerial unit. 3. Nemesis Mole Machines can fulfill this role.

What Can Be Done to Recruit Players?
Glacier Peak replied to Apparition's topic in General Discussion
This! Thank you, I appreciate the added context. I didn't get that from the twenty minute YouTube video. -
How good is Weaken Resolve, actually?

I'll stick with my Infrigidate, which is a Tier 1 power and can accept six procs 😄 -
What Can Be Done to Recruit Players?
Glacier Peak replied to Apparition's topic in General Discussion
I watched that whole thing, but the voice over person didn't tell me why it died. There was mention of profits not being high enough, but if I'm going to spend another twenty minutes on a video about why a game died, I'd like a concrete answer and not speculation. -
The donation window closed so fast this time; way to go community!

New Regen Powerset - What could it look like?
Glacier Peak replied to Troo's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
All these ideas are great, but has there been any indication from any powers dev that the regeneration powerset would get any kind of change? Aside from that, it'd be fun to test out all the ideas that have been suggested in the Suggestion and Feedback Thread. Pretty sure that's the majority of the ideas on the thread anyways! -
Nearly every zone grants an Exploration Accolade for collecting all Exploration badges in the zone. Each Exploration Accolade grants 10 Reward Merits.

Jesus 😵 the memory on @macskull -
One cast lasts 1 minute. You may not have seen the second cast that caused the total 2 minutes you described.

What Can Be Done to Recruit Players?

This seems plausible in my mind, primarily because xp/inf isn't the most efficient means of farming - its the most convenient. -

I'd give a shout out to a Peacebringer, mainly because it can fill any role and its a fun experience the whole way through. -

Oh wow I must've wrote that with the intention of following up with an edit with the below screenie, lol That is one of the many examples of Prestige Costume permanent temporary powers https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Model_Replacement_Costume_Powers The Homecoming GMs and team hand them out as prizes for events and such.

Couple of things on this one: First, the stealth component of this power suppresses with the Intangible effect after 30 seconds and reactivates with the Intangible effect after the suppression is removed. Recommend either removing the suppression all together or specifying in the description that the stealth is tied to the Intangibility effect. Second, the Fly speed of this power is 97.72 mph, but it's capped at 58.63 mph unless I turn on Fly. Recommend either changing the description and removing the added endurance cost or modify the power to the "greater flight speed" that is mentioned in the description while not using Fly. Third, interestingly enough (though not much of a bug itself), if you activate Quantum Acceleration while Quantum Flight is active, you could potentially hit a much higher Fly speed cap.... if it weren't for the Fly speed cap 😄

Working on a good bio for this guy, something related to rogue/vigilante-esque Peacebringer merging with super spy.

If you @ everyone on the leaderboard, you're gonna have a big thread. -
Well that was a weird one

That was some great analogy work 👏
