  1. I'll say that I've seen it stated by a developer in another setting that this will indeed be fixed for next year.
  2. Welcome to the community! I am assuming based on your initial post that you are relatively new to the game. Thank you for sharing your experience and hopefully it helps others. If I am reading your post accurately, you are referring to the generic "Keep the peace in Perez Park - Defeat 10 Circle of Thorns" mission that is offered by all Level 5-9 Contacts in Atlas Park (though the mission itself is offered only from Level 7-9). This generic mission is an opportunity for players to go to one of their first Hazard Zones (the others being the Hollows or the Sewer Network). Your guidance on opening the map and proceeding to the Northwest corner of Atlas Park where the red circle labeled "Perez Park" is spot on, as is your suggestion to click on either of the two Security Guards standing at the entrance to enable the player to enter the Perez Park zone. Again, your guidance for only defeating the mobs in the designated mission location as described is spot on. Enemies defeated outside of the parameters set by the mission will not count towards mission completion. I disagree with your recommendation that a player needs to have Fly in order to solo the 10 Circle of Thorn enemies. Any travel power or no travel power is acceptable - however, your reasoning for using Fly (or Hover) to avoid Melee attacks from the Circle of Thorn enemies is well-founded. Same goes for using the green smoke emitted by Circle of Thorn enemies as a way to easily identify these mobs from a distance. Great work on your first guide and good luck on your next adventure!
  3. This is literally the place on the Homecoming forums to bring it up - and there is no time limit on player feedback. We can discuss our agreements or disagreements on a particular suggestion or feedback, but unless a GM or member of the Homecoming team says otherwise, players can post those suggestions and feedback here regardless of when a change was made. Edit: I will add though, based on my anecdotal experience, that feedback provided during closed and open beta is more likely to result in changes. If a player wishes to invest their own time for the benefit of this community, that would be where they would see the biggest impact (short of becoming a developer themselves).
  4. That's not true at all. Your speculation is evident - when players get on to test something, it goes through all kinds of testing methods. Some players just complain about patch notes without even logging in, some players go above and beyond and find actual bugs or issues. It's not just level 50 Incarnates like you assume.
  5. It's not unrealistic at all - it's worked this way for five years now. If players care enough about something, they'll do it. If a player gets on to the beta server, they can instantly level any character to 50, get all Incarnates, badges, accolades, and IOs, anything they need for testing is free and easy accessible.
  6. That's incredible - what's the limit for how many channels a user can join?

  8. I'm a one badge collector total kind of player. I enjoy collecting badges, I just wouldn't want to do it on more than one character because I think they'd lose their value to me. I like that some badges are difficult, that's why I appreciate the ones I've collected on my badger.
  9. @EmperorSteele gonna need to change the thread title to, "can @Voltor post any more self-congratulatory screenshots of all their badgers" because they're on a whole different level than anyone else playing this game that collects badges 🤯
  10. My Ice/Cold Domination Corruptor plays easier as I have access to more options to make it easy mode, though if I desire I can increase the difficulty to scale so that I can experience a challenge. Basically, the skill ceiling is lower and the skill floor remains the same in my opinion.
  11. For whatever reason, in Issue 12 Acrobatics was reduced from a static 100 points of knockback protection to 9 points, two of which are enhanceable and affected by buffs. Maybe they were proliferating set bonuses and Invention Origin enhancements that provided the protection in abundance.
  12. I'm just glad the Auction House is cross server 🙂
  13. Hasn't happened in five years, even with double xp, so don't hold your breath 😆
  14. I'm not sure what you mean. Acrobatics provides knockback protection. It accepts knockback enhancements. What is the bug? Edit: Acrobatics provides 9 points of knockback protection, 2 of which are enhanceable and affected by buffs. By slotting a knocking enhancement in Acrobatics, a player can further increase the amount of knockback protection provided by Acrobatics.
  15. The in game search function isn't designed to show which players or how many players are in a zone. It's meant to show who is seeking recruitment for a team or specific type content. It doesn't show players who are in a zone who are not seeking a team or are hidden from the search function. It's strictly for searching for teammates. Edit: I'll add that your suggestion is for making the search do something different than it's purpose. I would prefer it's not tied to the search function. Perhaps something like the /whoall slash command, but it only shows player count instead of names and includes hidden players and is not dependent on the player being in the zone to work.
  16. I'll amend my post. It is not made clear enough to me. It's not made clear how Opportunity is built by looking at the Detailed Information - yes the numbers are shown, as you point out, but the explicit message of how Opportunity is generated is not. At the very least, the description should have a sentence added that says "Opportunity builds automatically at a rate of 100% per minute."
  17. It appears that you are right that it is not stated anywhere in-game how to (or what) builds Opportunity. If a player hovers over their Menu bar, it shows the amount of Opportunity building: If a player right-clicks the "Opportunity" Inherent Power for a description and detailed information on the power: But the actual detailed information (shown below from beta patch notes) does not appear in-game to explain *clearly enough* to the player the Inherent power of a Sentinel. I believe it should! Sentinels have an inherent resistance to Perception and ToHit debuffs (10%). Opportunity builds automatically at a rate of 100% per minute. Sentinels have an inherent power called Vulnerability: Vulnerability consumes 50% of your Opportunity to debuff a single target for 15 seconds. Vulnerability is Auto-Hit and ignores level differences. Vulnerability debuffs the following: Damage Resistance Defense Mez Resistance Stealth Resistance to Endurance, Endurance Discount, Recovery, Regeneration, ToHit, and Recharge
  18. You should play on Indomitable. You know everyone there by name and can count everyone on the same hand.
