  1. Bunping this thread in anticipation of AOT Season 4 Part 3, Demon Slayer Season 3, and the continuation of My Hero Academia Season 6! Really enjoying Spy X Family and Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War. Hulu is doing a readaptation of Trigun using a new art style and story telling perspective if anyone is interested.
  2. Oh I didn't realize it changes the damage. I had it in my snipe powers for the longest time on my PvP Blasters because it's another attack in the chain that can get those pesky runners if their close to the red on their health bar.
  3. Sounds like it's time to play on Indomitable.
  4. Just saw the title of the thread and thought does anyone use the instant snipe IO or is that just PvP only?
  5. There are a couple of general rules to follow with procs. Auto powers are the best placement for certain procs like Panacea or Numina. Some procs are global, and will activate when their conditions are met, think Spirit Ward slots Chance for +Absorb - it's always active, but certain conditions need mer for the effect itself to activate. Then there are damage procs and chance for effects like -res and -def, etc. These have certain proc per minute (PPM) numbers between 1 and 4.5. The higher the PPM, the higher the chance for the proc to go off in certain powers, which follow a formula based on Auto/Click/Toggle and single target, AoE and Cone targeting. When in doubt though, you can use one of the many handy PPM calculators that members of the community have made. I'm sure there is a link someone can share, but I use one that's in a spreadsheet. Let me see if I can find the link...
  6. What role does the Hulk fill? Smash! It always seemed to me that the Brute was created as a close approximation of both a Scrapper and a Tanker for Villains when CoV was released. It wasn't that interesting to me, and I never created a Brute on live because of that. The only Brute I've made on Homecoming is for farming, but that's an easy / basic character to use for a single specifically designed purpose. So to answer your question, from my perspective, the Brute Archetype has never really had a unique role as you described for the other Melee Archetypes (I'll let the fact that you didn't mention HEATS or VEATS slip by, noting that both have access to Taunt powers, similar damage output, and nearly identical damage mitigation capacity).
  7. Well I'm a few months in to earning and collecting Prismatic Aether Particles. Looking at my average drop rates, I'm getting approximately 10 a month from standard content playthroughs. I get a few drops from WSTs, randomly, and a big boost from the Halloween monsters. I've earned a total of 100 or so since launch, and I've sold most of them for a helpful profit. Knowing the intended use of these items, I'm satisfied with the costs of each costume tier. I would like these Prismatic Aether Particles to be dropped from other content more readily, perhaps from seasonal content.
  8. Don't the new Costume temp powers that allow you to look like pretty much any NPC in the game allow this already?
  9. No it's the Rikti dummy you see in the RWZ near Serpent Drummer.
  10. Pick up the cheaper P2W police pet temporary power and summon that in the mission. They'll pop out of their tree state when the pet runs by.
  11. I can't say I've got any screenshots with it, but I'll remind myself to post a location where I saw it in Echo Plaza when I'm back in game. It's got lots of spawn points, not sure whether it's on a timer or not, but it's an Easter egg for sure! @twozerofoxtrot Here's a screenie I took of the thing spawning in one of the nine locations in Echo Plaza. Edit: Entity is named "Uuralur the Mirror" and is not targetable. Related to Shadow Shard lore I am told, if anyone is smart on that. ""They were created by Uuralur the Mirror, who presides over The Garden of Memories. The beings that reside there are reflections of the worlds that Rularuu has consumed, though it is unclear whether he created them out of remorse or amusement." @Darmian
  12. Prestige should buy items of power from a Base P2W-type vendor.
  13. Then I'd say the names of the Archetypes that were released with CoV were well explained and played to their namesake. Corrupting via debuffs and Scourge, Brutish behavior and Fury, Masterminding nefariously, Domination. The only one that's a little weak is Stalker. Sure that's not good, but maybe the Sneaker! Or Perfidan! Someone who commits perfidy
  14. The Strangler The Robber The Evil Doer ... like that?
  15. Being a member of a team comes with responsibility also. Teams are much more powerful together than the lone player - and as the saying goes, with great power comes great responsibility.
  16. Cart before the horse. When all content (that doesn't require a minimum number of players) can already be soloed in this game, why do we need to be more powerful?
  17. Behind the Villain spawn in for the first time position in Mercy Island. Near Doll Maker and the P2W vendor, there should be anywhere from 1 to 6 groups of 6 or more Arachnos in formation.
  18. Yeah, Ukase had asked about it in the thread, then ran the arcs to help validate what was needed exactly. It's a tricky one, little bit of side switching involved, but it's a nice little treat to see play out, and it's probably the only hidden easter egg like it in the game. Edit: Well I should've said, it was the start of the Homecoming team putting Easter eggs in the game. See [Rikti Combat Dummy]. See [Dimensional Being in Echo Plaza]. See [Hardmode Shenanigans].
