This makes more sense to me if that's what the OP is suggesting. Especially the Incarnate components. It was an interesting idea at the time to tie the Incarnate xp and components to specific Incarnate trials - but since the game now grants this stuff across all content drops, it seems moot.

What is this Quality of Life suggestion trying to address? It's not inconvenient for a player to travel from Grandville, Monster Island, Port Oakes, Sharkhead Isle, or Kallisti Wharf (and Independence Port, Peregrine Island, or Striga Isle for Rogues, Vigilantes, and Heroes) via the Smugglers Submarine to go to the Abyss. And Eden has its own SG teleport beacon that drops players close to the Hive entrance.

I don't see what the problem or issue that this suggestion is trying to address.

Ah, I didn't realize you wanted to be able to attack an enemy or mob, but not to be attacked by them. That would be insanely overpowered in CoH, and really in any game.

My college tuition was twice as expensive as the last generation's college tuition. And it means less in the degree saturated job market. And I had to grow up with school shootings. My house is twice, nearly three times as expensive as the last generation's house. My food, gas, utilities, insurance, car payment, medical bills, entertainment of any kind - are all twice as expensive as the last generation's. Of course that wouldn't be a problem if my wage kept up with things. So I have to work twice as hard, have two jobs, and less free time in order to have the same things as the previous generation. Oh, and I won't be able to access any social safety nets when I retire because it will be insolvent or pension because no employer offers that incentive anymore. This is why I play a make believe super hero game 🤪 Edit: And traveling to Europe is way more expensive!!

Minitaur type tracking was the easier thing to do first - the Benefactor tracking was the harder thing if I remember right.

Looks like we're getting a high guest count again. Certainly not close to the 5,000 plus that I noted in the original post three years ago, but I've seen it higher than 500 during non-peak hours.

Oh yikes. That's too bad. I'd really like to see that data that explains how Indomitable has changed unique player population since January this year due to the change in XP rates. In my anecdotal opinion, it's been a flat line - no change really. Mostly just farmers who are in AE to powerlevel faster, then transfer away.

I ended up just doing two builds on the same Widow - one as an unkillable Night Widow and the other as a super damage dealer Fortunata. Both builds combined easily cost me over a billion inf 🫠

It's a bit forced, I'll agree. I've had to use the no xp function so frequently on new characters from Level 1 through 15. It's really easy to out level contacts in that range. On the flip side, after Level 35, it really smooths out the abrupt xp requirement spike for furthering leveling, especially for post-50 Incarnate levels. Middle ground maybe give players a 0.50 xp rate and/or 0.25 xp rate temp at S.T.A.R.T?

You either die a Hero (then use Revive!) or live long enough that damage becomes irrelevant.
