  1. Not so fast! Literally! Cuz it's like a slower song n' stuff. Elton John - Candle In The Wind
  2. However long it is you'll want to make sure you live each moment... Blackpink - As if it's your last.
  3. Nice work on Heer Oranje as well. I might be biased in this regard though.
  4. <--- Knows the feeling. Also, stellar job on Acid Wash @graff.
  5. They all have their drawbacks tex that's the idea. I could just as easily say Super Jump in concept is great but in the game you take damage when you land so I'm out. We're supposed to be superheroes here and travel powers that hurt are lame by definition.
  6. I would direct your attention to the following 9 posts spanning commentary. Beginning with my comments to RikOz here... ...and ending with my comments to Fleshrake 9 posts later.
  7. Very nice @sbloyd. I like both styles. So is Amy your character then? A friends? Is she a Hero, Villain, Rogue? Any Bio or info on her? Wait there was a Twilight Zone marathon on??? ------------ @Agent Canada Cool! I too started out with art trades (and still do them on occasion) which turned to small name talent hunting which became big name sale seeking and now I find myself on the verge of buying some of the stuff I've always wanted... still don't have the disposable income to do it yet though, more's the pity.
  8. Yeah DA is hard at work trying to become facebook it seems. They had a winning formula and became the largest art site on the planet but now there are so many dead accounts (the grey names with a strike through) there that it gets a little frustrating as many of those artists didn't leave a forwarding or hint as to where they were headed. Rather than posting a link in a journal or shoutbox and leaving it as a heads up for others to find they purposefully kill their accounts to make a statement and now if I want to continue seeing their new work I have to go searching on ArtStation, Instagram, Patreon etc. for them. Don't me wrong it is still a good site with a ton of great art and they do several things well I just think they are heading in the wrong direction.
  9. Hey there Agent Canada, I was not in any of those other SG's but I do remember you from Deviant Art like a decade ago. It's not easy to forget such a distinct inking style. Welcome to The New 62 and best part of the forums. Yeah it's kind of strange that many of the more known artists and collectors from Live still haven't made their way here (or are here in stealth mode and avoiding posting) but a bunch of people who never used to post in the old 606 are here and active already. I'm happy to see all the creativity that's happening here either way.
  10. Would've thought Jawbreaker to be the one bringing this up. Or maybe Jon.
  11. Update: I made most of him in ¾ view too, so I cannot mirror anything either. I guess it's going to be old-school slow and steady free-hand for this piece. And apparently I chose to have foreshortening on his left arm, what was I thinking??? Thanks Healix, QueenB (wait does Beyonce know about this? ), Flash and DJ1 for the recent comments. Sidenote: I rounded out the apex of his groin so the armor plate covering it didn't look like an giant arrow pointing south.
  12. For what is lit-erally the 666th post in this thread I am soul-prised you didn't post a demon summoner costume of some scorch @RikOz, or at the very least something Hades adjacent... what the hell man??? I mean you Satan-ly don't have to demon-strate it with a un-whole-ly costume but the way it is right now (cool meme bro ) really just Styx out as being kinda Meh-phistopheles ya know? I mean it totally pale(horse)s in comparison to what it could Beelzebub. It's almost like you don't Charon-ough to even fry. Seriously whadda ya got to Lucifer? ...besides eternal pun-nishment that is.
  13. That's hilarious @Roughtrade. I've seen those before but not the SW ones. Time for some George... it's thoroughly good.
  14. Well it's not a toad-ally un-frog-givable offense. It's not off fly that marsh, just a little rib-bit. She Polly just frog-got. I'm sure if you toad her to re-reet it she would be hoppy to do so. Yus! The pun-nishment returns!
  15. Man there are a lot of fidgety little pieces in this costume.
  16. +1 on the Cosmic Corsair shoulder piece as a shield.
  17. Not sure if that is a thing that makes it into the game or not but Polly Wog may want to proof read it first. (i.e. building was a cathedral).
  18. Good idea Red. If you are looking for an opinion, of that list I was a fan of Meslena, Oriah and Ilia. The first sounds most likely to kill her queen rather than see her disgraced, the second sounds close to Orion or "the hunter" and the third reminds of the epic tale the Illiad. Those three hit my ears the best. There's also Megara which has it's own history and baggage because of the Disney movie but it does shorten nicely to Meg if abbreviations matter to you.
  19. ...and the man in the back said everyone attack and it turned into a Ballroom Blitz! Great additions. Hope you had a Merry Me-mas too Kallisti. /e totally knew they were fake. Her ears that is.
  20. Good to know. Speaking, a bit earlier, about impressive guitarists and, even earlier, about creatures erupting from the stage during a show, made me remember this little gem. Yngwie Malmsteen isn't a name that just rolls off the tongue but he was no slouch on the axe himself. I feel like they threw a little of everything into this video. Wizards, check! Explosions and laser light show, check! Cheesy special FX and an epic guitar solo, double check! Fire breathing dragons, you bet! Chunky Conan wannabe, check! Wait wut?
  21. You know I don't think I've ever heard that particular Rush song before. I'll have to give it a listen later when I can devote my undivided attention rather than having it play as background music while working on other things. Thanks @siolfir Sidenote: I'm not sure why the original version of the video doesn't come up on YT but I was able to find it on Vimeo. Might want to grab a copy in case it is becoming scarce. It's poetry in motion.
