Umm can't she block or hide the comments of anyone on her page? Or barring that if she can show clear harassment why wouldn't DA block that persons IP Address (I realize this is easy to circumvent but it's a start). Also not sure how "she" got hacked wouldn't it be DA that got hacked and wouldn't they be all over it if that were the case and not just telling her to make a new account? I don't know the relevant details but that description doesn't sound right to me, also what would stop the hacker from following her to Tumblr and harassing her there too? (I recognize there is also a bit of a language barrier).

Not sure what her sets are or anything about the character but there were no powers showing (other than the Bats Aura) in your pics so I am guessing they are not central to the character? I'm just happy I only had a brief amount of time this morning when I was in a "fix it" kind of mood because the astrophysics fan in me had to make a resistance check under a -4 penalty to not correct the Lunar phase progression in your sig. Had to delete my DA account and I have no place to annouce it or take comms (been hacked and stalked). I have some comms to finish from DA (these are at 1st place) but I have to take more work. Not sure what to make of that.

I'll always take a .PSD if available as it's an opportunity to see another artists setup and layers and maybe learn something. I was going to note that between the grey flats and the grey value range stages that she had changed position slightly but the Shivan skull seems supremely unperturbed by it. Agree. Trafficking could work fine as I said. But in your translation below you used "dealing" and that implies selling. So I was saying since no one is selling guns that maybe smuggling or trafficking would be better. Just a suggestion. Yep. I understood that. No of course not. I was talking to English audiences and saying that it might look strange to them calling a man Rene but it is not a mistake because this is common in French. Obviously nothing you said caused the lull to happen but I have noticed that some of the most vocal people (Caemgen, DD, Fireheart etc.) have been a pretty quiet while some of the former lurkers who rarely said a peep are now among the most vocal. Looking good Kai. Ludots is correct if ⅔ of the neck is in shadow then more of the left side of her face is as well. Also you need to decide if the light source is overhead right or just straight right. The majority shows straight right but the shadow under the goggles implies some overhead. If it is straight right then her right leg should also be casting a shadow on her inner left leg. It's shaping up nicely though.

Some more inked dragon doodles drawn earlier. I was thinking about doing a Tiamat and so was quickly scribbling out the different chromatic heads. The Red and Blue were about 10 minutes each and I just started the Green head. The reason they are so quick is they are pretty tiny (scanned in a high resolution though) sitting in the corner of a page and the ones above are full page designs.

Nice one, I was thinking of a volcano too... well that, Pokemon and Bruce Campbell. Hmmm. Also cool combo for days 9-10 MBM.

I should check in with my contact for debriefing. ----------------- 3rd panel: 1st cop: Woah, not so fast! We need to check your bags. Rene: Yeah. ------------------ 4th panel: 1st cop: Weapons smuggling! You can't fool us pal, you're headed for the Zig! I smell a promotion here René! Rene: Yeah. ------------------- Note: I went with smuggling and not dealing since he isn't selling anything just trying to pass by the security gate into Atlas Park. Weapons trafficking could work too but that is more a crime you get charged with during a trial and less a common phrase security might use. I would also point out that René is primarily a male name in French (if I am wrong about that please do let me know) but is typically a female name in English since both the cops appear to be male. Cheers!

P.S. Third paragraph shoutouts aside @battlewraith is cooking up an awesome gift artz as I write this. It is unfinished at this point and was a complete surprise to me (and he chose the hero himself based on a sexy Halloween theme rather than from refs or a request posted in this thread) or I would have mentioned it above as well. Also I would be remiss if I didn't mention @QueenBethari and her costume request thread in which QueenBethari herself, @biostem, @Oubliette_Red and I have all lent our time and creative talents to help people redesign their heroes. While not drawn art this is definitely a gift to the community being done for free, I hope it's appreciated.

I know there was a time back on live when people posting requests got artz within days (or sometimes even hours) of their requests. I did over 100 of them myself and there was Bobby Aquitania, Pirate Cashoo, Eddy Swan and many others along with me giving freely but that may have been a unique point in history that may never come again. It's unreasonable to expect that now as it's very much a fledgling operation. Heck I only got them to create an art section for us to post in within the last 3 months. There was here nothing here when I arrived. And while I am trying to get more artists here, help out wherever I can and welcome everyone as they arrive it's still early days. Even though there are 10 artists here that have announced their presence (and several more I suspect in stealth mode ) only TemerousNox (a.k.a. ZemyaSoldat), Darth Delicious and I have completed free gift artz in this thread thus far. Tem is out for now with a hand injury, DD is busy with more hours at work and at least a half dozen paid commissions waiting on her and I don't always have a lot of free time. When I do, I could spend it drawing but I could also be playing the game (I only have 3 heroes so far and none above L24 and I haven't even tried the Halloween stuff yet!) which I haven't done in more than a week. And of course none of the artists present nor any to follow are obligated to do anything free for anyone else. We all have jobs, families and often busy lives and bear in mind that if we are feeling creative we have our friends/families/sgmates and our own heroes we could be drawing too. That is why I mention in the OP and DD reiterated recently to please be patient, be polite and don't expect anything. To anyone reading this your best bet is to be active in the community with comments and likes (we do notice), be willing to wait and be supportive of the artists. Maybe in time more of them will dip their toes in here. If none of the above appeals and you want something guaranteed or by a certain date you could always consider a commission. While @Darth Delicious is full up right now, @Flashrains said in her thread she is open for comms, @battlewraith takes them sometimes so you might PM him and I know @anOuroboros /Adrian has a "Commission Me" button on this website here with prices. Or you can always check the "Art Talk" thread for more suggestions and artists with sales running now.

Indeed! If that's not on a bumper sticker already it totally needs to be. Sometimes life goes your way, other times... Dragons happen! You know what I stand corrected, MOST of the time I do not use ref for Dragons but there was one time I did, it wasn't a photo manipulation or someone else's art but of all things a soap carving that I thought looked cool. This is what came of that drawing session.

For Dragons no, they are kind of my default. If I put pencil (or in this case a pen) to paper with no plan or intent, Dragons happen. With other things it depends, I certainly don't shy away from using reference material but sometimes when you are drawing make believe stuff there is no good pic of what you are trying to draw until you make it up.

Cool thanks for the info. Oh back on live I would've been all over it but I don't have any of my 50's or anyone nearly built out enough to be taking on any Archvillains. Perhaps someday I'll get one of my elite 50's built up again but it's gonna be a while. The first one always takes the longest.
