  1. Actually IIRC, the art he did of Chloe pwn-ing Mary Macomber was for his art book (barely Super) and the bust was a bonus I think he threw in for me being patient or something like that. However it worked out I know he went WAY above and beyond what I paid for and the bust is one of my favorite depictions of Chloe to this day.
  2. Yep 5 different artists all contributed something to it. I wondered if you ever saw it before the shutdown happened. I haven't seen Lord Goat or Mike November (and Bobby is no longer with us) yet but I know DD had fun with her part. Your welcome for my part (the pencils), you did win the contest after all. Will do. I've been playing the game and reading a lot lately but I will try to finish this up... soon. ™
  3. Yep that's why. I also change my avatar to one with a pirates hat and eye patch with skull and crossbones on it for the day too. Not sure who came up with it originally but it is my favorite of the silly holidays. YARRRRR! @Darth Delicious DD is looking great in that pic so far, Mike looks happy, which I am still not used to lol.
  4. Heya DJ1, glad you finally checked your messages and decided to pop over and say hi. Oh and welcome to the best part of the forums!
  5. Heya DJ1, welcome to the best part of the forums. Sure thing I tried to tell as many as I could. Good to see you too. There's a welcome thread somewhere here if you want to say hello to people, though some are still not here yet (despite repeated prodding from me) there are several familiar faces (avatars?) and several new artistic talents here already including Adrian, Jon, Franzkafka21. As you say DD and BW are here and you may remember Plangkye/FlashRains (posting as Flashtoo) and TemerousNox/Chernobyl Dawn (posting as Zemya Soldat). Oh and you might want to go back through my thread a bit.
  6. Fair point but in that "box" we can all directly observe her state of (un)life. Wouldn't that invalidate the theoretical nature of the experiment? Still a cool concept/costume and she should be fun to play around the holiday too... sooo many boxes to open! You could have a bind for her to do something with the open present emote too, perhaps a thought bubble about how she always expects to find herself in the box or something? Just a thought. Also, Shrodingrs Catgrrl should fit, sure it's misspelled but since when do cats care about spelling?
  7. Yeah the closest thing right now is just choosing the standalone skull as a buckle with no belt and then picking a top and bottom that naturally seam up in a way that looks like a belt and then color those with a pattern where the waist is a different color than the chest and the hips are a different color from the legs. That or a mod, but only those with the file will see it.
  8. Thanks for posting your draw this again Flashtoo, I love seeing the progression of other artists over time. I like all the subtle improvements (especially to the face and robe). As for wanting comments over likes I said a very similar thing a few days back in my thread, I know what you mean. **/e drop kicks the void back a few more inches.**
  9. Here are the boots I mentioned with a different hood and 2 more chest variations. They are in the other costume file you can just swap in Glossy muscles or Ex-proto for the chest option if you like either.
  10. Oh, sure. I suppose I could try hosting those here, the image hosting site I use only allows image formats (like .jpg or .png). grim1.costume grim2.costume grim3.costume
  11. Other thoughts:There is a belt with gun holster but it will only let you color it black and you lose the skull buckle and I liked the front and back matching skull elements. If you want something closer to the first image (the drawing) I would suggest the retro sci-fi boots. They look almost exactly like what you have, I went for the laced combat boots to match the last image. You could also make a gold skull chest emblem instead of a cape clasp. Of course if you wanted him to be even more modern you could give him a pager that goes off every time he has a mission... then he would be the "Grim Beeper."
  12. Here's a slightly more modern Grim Reaper for you Matt. Two mask variations and two weapon variations one with his traditional Gladius sword and one the more modern Supernova. The gold cape clasp doesn't show under the hood so I brought some gold elements up to his shoulders and eye covers to balance it out.
  13. Shouldn't she be in a box too? Or going "Woo Woo Woo" on an episode of Stan and Lou? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nOg5iiEzxM4&list=RDDNjyH2g5sjk&index=15
  14. I'm not sure. I've never tried removing one on a phone, perhaps there is a different process for mobile, glad you were able to remove it though.
  15. Howwwwwwwdy Nurse!. That is why I use my own smiley's... + their's are not orange enough. @Flashtoo If you want to get rid of it you hover over it and it makes a circle with an inverted cross-hairs symbol appear above the smiley, click that symbol and then hit delete or backspace as appropriate. Cheers!
  16. Biostem if you look about 10 posts up you will see I used both of those puns already. You know brew should never kettle for just tea-hashing the same old puns. It will make it seem like you are bagging behind and make others doubt pour creativi-tea
  17. IKR? 5 tea puns in a rooibos? There was so matcha wrong with that last post of mine... I ad-mint it. I'm totally willing to have a hi-biscus-sion about it but only if you are darjeeling up to it. Don't assam I will apologize though, I tea-gret nothing!
  18. Okay yeah that is helpful. Thanks BattleWraith. Healix I'm glad you are excited, do you have any thoughts about her look? If not, or you do not want to influence the outcome, no worries. Just thought I would ask since you know her best.
  19. Okay getting back on track with costumes, occasionally I run themed costume task forces like a Saturday Morning Cartoons themed Positron or Breakfast Cereal Mascots themed Lady Grey etc. This idea was from a Fighting Game Character themed Manticore IIRC and I chose Zangief from Streetfighter II. I thought about using the Barbarian belt and yellow in the boots but this looked better IMHO. Anyone else run themed events?
  20. On an unrelated note, what do you call food for a camel? A Chamomile. Hey that one took me Oolong time to come up with, I'm really Chai-ing my best. Ahem, I'd better leaf now before things get too steep.
  21. Phew. Also I am wondering how that Science coffee mug came out because I'm starting to think a Blaster or Scrapper mug is something I need in my life. Sidenote: did you see the post I made about Mischief (the program) in the Art Talk thread?
  22. I used the Dark Miasma set for my tests. For me this takes nothing away from how cool these are for the forums, artwork, website banners etc. I love how crisp and clean these are sized up it's just when scaled for the game they are tricky to tell apart. Fearsome Stare probably stood out the most and when they are side by side like this I can totally tell which is yours but ingame it was a lot less obvious is all I meant.
  23. Scaled up the difference is noticeable but at the resolution the game uses I've found them to be nearly indistinguishable in my testing.
  24. ***/me sees what you did there*** Your pun was pretty tea-riffic.
  25. Oh cool. Thanks for sharing these Microc. Any chance they will be imported here?
