I agree with a lot, quite a lot of the rest of your post (that I haven't quoted) but the voice acting? Ah, no. seriously. Voice acting is binary, it's either amazing (I am old school and if anyone ever played any of the Legacy of Kain games then that was my standard for great voice work) or shit. And most of it is shit. Plus in a comic book inspired game the speech bubbles work! Provided those crowdfunded efforts are somehow still classed as donations and...see, getting donations to fund the servers is one thing. Getting a 3D artist to do work like that would involve setting up a private commission, or else you're wandering into tax issues, things that they would have to claim/report, what their work is. Blah blah. Rogue Server. Possible legal complications. Not impossible but you're threading a corkscrew opening and trying not to touch the sides there. I have, and I imagine many do this, toons that are Blue only, Red only, and Gold only. Toons that are Rogues, toons that are vigilantes, toons that made the crossing from Praetoria and are now whatever, toons that use Null, toons that only cross via tips/morality missions, Gold Resistance, Gold Loyalists, Gold incarnate. Toons following the VEAT and the WS/PB storylines. A toon that was dropped into Galaxy via the base portal at level 1 and went street sweeping, and is there still patrolling the past, that poor level 8 MM Ninja toon. An entire smorgasbord of what you can do, not even adding in how the ATs affect how things play out, blah blah. Everyone really should at least try variations because you might be surprised, you might not and it may reinforce your previous opinion. Whatever. Play how you like and try not to piss people off, bearing in mind some are, and no it's not PC to say this, but some are just natural gobshites and should be avoided. Other than that if you don't like Gold then you're simply wrong. I can't help you. Tsk. 😛 I

As long as they're started out of First Ward or Night Ward! If you have a TF/SF in Nova to Imperial there's a very present danger of outlevelling your content, and to be honest if you're starting in Gold then that's probably why you're there.

Considering how she controls them it's not like (a) she wouldn't be aware of a faction forming and (b) crushing it. So a faction would have to be retconned into the Lore from before she took up the mask, if that's even doable. Do we know what happened to Imperious? There's a future Cimeroran adventure perhaps. Outside of the events of "Who Will Die" it was assumed that Statesman was effectively immortal, positing a similar fate for Imperious...what happened to him?
