  2. I'm not sure why they need balanced? Other than SS and rage I mean. Its not like SM and EM are the dominant brute melee go to sets. I doubt they would be as good as WM which is just a straight port, isn't it?

    Sweeping Cross is not really that great DPA. I use it for a pbaoe purple set mule and an situational AOE attack. Its also nice to have when exemped. But for ST any set ST attack is usually better to use.

  7. You'd think Stone Melee would be easier than SS since no rage. Never really struck me as a OPd set. For example, is it better on Brutes than War Mace?
  8. One bit of ettiquitte, try to know roughly how long a TF takes (or ask) and don't join if you don't have enough time. Have ended up in a lot of TFs lately where we start with 8 and end with 5-6
  9. Staff does fine. I have run KM up a little bit, but not Goldside. The AS power is awesome on this set. Its animation time is less than a second, so it basically feels like instacast.

Something to keep on mind is some TFs scale some enemies based on the max level of the TF, and since you get level locked - this can be an issue if for example you ate running Posi at level 8 and Doc Buzzsaw is level 15. Paragon wiki calls them signature TFs or something, but mainly its sll the core Freedom phalanx stuff (posi/synapse/etc)

  13. You have to stay on your toes during the Seer stuff. Other than that it has decent defense early. It also works well with the kinetic barrier P2W power, letting you get really good S/L/E protection early.
  14. I did fine with staff, martial arts and street justice stalkers gold side The SJ one I ran through all 4 paths / every mission. Secondary was EA. EA is my favorite stalker Secondary both because its fairly decent/not weaker on stalkers. And because the energy glow makes it easier to see yourself when hidden.
  15. Pretty sure you can't navigate the maps without looking at the screen and using only your forehead to push the W key.

  18. Except again, DPA was never a major balance consideration. They hadn't even considered it at all until the game was fairly mature. Singling out Eagle's claw for a DPA based rebalance over all the other sets out there? You also can't just look at T9s in isolation. For example look at T2s, MA has one of the best DPA T2s there is. Should this get lowered to be closer to other sets? MA isn't the worst set for DPA overall, far from it.
  19. I thought they were doing away with the TP from anywhere function so I stopped bothering to set it up. I read this thread and find out it still works .. so .. Its very convienent. You still have to run/fly/skip within the zone so its not like some instant mission teleporter. I can see how it could be abused though especially in pvp. But yeah. Pvp whatever.
  20. There is no way to know if someone skipped low level content and rushed to 50 or slowly leveled to 50 but didn't do TFs on the way. Or if they are simply repeating TFs My completionist run is just now getting around to TFs. All 4 praetorian paths? Check. Frostfire? Check. The Skulls arc in KR? Check. All the faultline stuff .. Striga isle .. Golden Roller ... and so on Have holy shotgun shells, a wedding band, all kinds to temp powers Ill never use. But still I'm now a level 50 with 6 purple sets steamrolling Synapse ...
  21. Interestingly a lot of sets basically have to use their T1s to make a chain, and TK has the same stats as those T1s. It just is weak compared to all of MAs good ST attacks.
  22. People have suggested it forever, because the animation involves a spinning kick. Its animation is much faster than most Melee cones though.
  23. I will point out that damage is not generally adjusted for activation time either. Though some limited changes to this and actual animations have happened to help sets that were seen as underperforming. This includes WM and MA. Eagles Claw has already been "fixed" more than once. First the animation was shaved, then the extra crit buffing other attacks. For IO builds recharge matters less and less. Which helps something like SJ. Crushing Uppercut is a great power, but on SOs it wouldn't be nearly as good. With perma hasten, its up more than you need it. So even a 20 second Eagles Claw would be NBD foe IO builds.
  24. This proposal would be pretty uneven though. For example, An SR sent will almost never be in the red. But when they are, they can just live in the red for long periods. They might be able to toggle dance to have low hp all the time. A WP or Regen sent will just regen back green before getting much help. Though maybe if you timed it so you took the alpha then nuked, then regened ... Fire I guess would be in a good spot since you could time healing flames. But if you timed wrong .. ROTP
