Good thing I ate before reading this thread. Also what is more superheroey than knocking something back with your power? Spoiler alert NOTHING. Just my opinion.

Is it a blaster? If so I say stay away from Ice. I mean Ice on a blaster totally rocks but it will permanently spoil you. You get 3 fast activating blasts, an awesome and fast recharging Hold that OH BTW does excellent damage on its own and one of the(if not the) highest damage dealing nukes. Combined with the secondary that allows to you slow everything down while you punch and slash them down with your sword. Also not to mention making a patch of ice that they can not stop slipping on as the try (and fail) to run from the ice storm you conjured up. Yessiree stay far away from Ice is My advice. JK I love, love, love ice on a blaster. Have a blast (pun intended) with it.

Thank you guys for all the various different ways I can play the game. I really love the game and have been playing since 2004 when it first started. Having it back is a great thing. Know that when it came back I had hoped that I would play with my daughter who is currently 12 years old. However no matter how hard I tried I could not get her to play for longer than 10-15 minutes and now she won’t even play it at all. That really crushed me. Curse you Roblox! So I will look into some ways you guys suggested and go about it (playing) a different way. I think I definitely need to start teaming as I find I generally just solo and that might be some of my problem.I said I wouldn’t do that when I started up on Homecoming and yet here I am doing just that. Something something about old habits hard to break…

How do you guys keep that kind of interest in this game? I struggle trying to stay interested in it. Maybe I’m doing something wrong. I love the game but sometimes it just seems like it’s the same thing over and over and over again. And this is only while playing maybe 8 to 10 hours a week and that’s a good week.

Last time I checked Superman came to earth in a SPACESHIP. Spaceships generally involve SCIENCE. Therefore I see him as SCIENCE ORIGIN. No ship no Superman. On a side note almost all my characters are science origin as well because most of them have had something happen to give them said powers. Don't blame me. Instead blame Stan Lee for creating the greatest superhero ever, Spider-man. There I said it you happy?

This sounds like a fun idea and it may spark me to try some ATs that I never would have tried and also bring some interest back to the game. I find with this game I either love it or I’m bored of it and it just keeps going up and down up and down Like a kiddy roller coaster. I will do everything exactly as you said it but I will randomize the primary and secondary by pulling out of a hat and just eliminating when I’ve used one up.

This is a common trick that your contacts like to play on you. Right before they give you the hunting mission they contact the villains and tell them to hide. Prove me wrong.

In game its when people are recruiting for a team and you send a message asking if there is still room or if they will let you join on an alt and they never respond to you. Out of game its when my wife complains non stop about how much she dislikes her job but then gets irate at me when I tell her to find a new one.

Like when all you really want to do is jump in game and play and your wife/girlfriend has other ideas and they’re not the fun kind of ideas you really want to do with them.

The players must be feeling rather mischievous tonite.

Once again thank you all for the advice. I have decided to take Hurricane and I will also use Gale as it goes well with my name and theme. I haven't been able to play much but tonite I hope to do a posi 1 or 2 to see how I like teaming with this character. I am confused as to whether or not to slot a kb/kd in Hurricane though. Does the knockdown negate the repel? Or is that not how it works in hurricane when slotted?

Excellent advice all. To answer your questions and some other thoughts I did not know this. I thought it had to be in a passive(like Health) if you didn't use the power to make it proc. I will pick it up and only use it to try and prevent a teammate from dying I am a hero after-all. I only want the invisibility when I am solo so this part doesn't concern me but thank you for noting it as I did not know that. I generally use Aim on my blasters for the dam buff not the to-hit buff. So I figure instead of having a 30-40s buff with only a 10sec duration I could have a constant 15%(per mids) instead. I have read that storm is rather end intensive and since I am used to having the blaster sustain power should I slot health with the Panacea(I do this on all alts), Numina and Miracle procs and Stamina with +end (again on all alts) and 1 end mod or 2? I was going to skip Hurricane as It seems to be a complete end hog and use Gale so I could stay at range but I see your point and it does also de-buff their to-hit something nasty. I may have to rethink this strategy. For Hurricane Mids says repel : 1 (tgt) what does this mean? Is Thunder Clap needed? I was going to skip it as it is only mag 2 although Mids says that Tornado disorients as well.

... and would like some info please. He is an Elec/Storm named Mr Breeze. I am currently lvl 8 courtesy of the AP missions. Habashys line not DFB and I am enjoying him so far. I went corruptor because I am a blaster at heart and figured that would allow me to solo better than a defender. However that being said I plan on teaming a lot with this guy. Ok onto the questions. 1. Should I proc out Gale or just put kd/kb and +rech in it. 2. Does Steamy mist and Sprint with +stealth give invisibility? To stealth missions I don't want to do fully. 3. I know procs don't work to well in the rains like Ice storm but is freezing rain different? Should it be procced out? 4. Is O2 boost necessary for a teaming corruptor? I will play this guy like a vigilante with good intentions but also a bit miffed at what happened to him to give him his powers that he never wanted. 5. Is Aim needed if I take Assault? 6. Should I shoot for softcap def to either ranged or s/l or is recharge the way to build? That's it for now but any further tips and advice is appreciated. Thank You.

I agree with Nightroarer. I have confirmed my alignment about 8 times with my main using the tip missions. A quick tip about tip missions is when u open one it will occur in the zone u r in. There are Very few exceptions ( at least on in the 50 range is in IP) but the rest I do in Atlas Park.

Yes but you have to agree it is a good one. I really hate when I get the last song that I hear before I get out of my vehicle stuck in my head and its not even a song that I like.

I made my main from live. While the name is the same and he looks the same his secondary is different because I never really liked devices on live so this time around I went tactical arrow as Hawkeye is my favorite avenger. However I was unaware at the time how they changed the blaster secondaries with the sustains and all that so I may actually like devices if I went back to it but I’ve gotten to love Agent R22 as he is now. And since he is now currently at Vet level 23 I’m not changing him anytime soon.

I think you may be able to answer your own question. Are you a stranger? Do faces look ugly when you’re alone? Do women seem wicked when you’re unwanted? Are the streets around you up when you’re down? If you answered yes to all of these questions you are indeed strange.

I surprisingly got Mr Breeze just the other day. I was listening to a Skynyrd song on the radio and I said there’s a concept I could come up with. I had been wanting to see what Storm was all about and now I at least got a cool name to go with the concept.
