  1. Does the Aether effect “Ghost” do this? I can’t remember. If so I’d say that’s enough.
  2. Every AT benefits from being in melee range btw. That’s where the Fulcrum Shifts and Heat Losses and Transfusions and what have you are going off.
  3. Whitecap doesn’t immobilize you after the teleport or anything like that. If you genuinely think the set must be played at range, you are 100% free to jump backwards right after casting Whitecap.

  5. Whitecap is awesome. I put 6 procs in mine, it makes a lot of numbers very fast 🙂
  6. I started out my first draft with Whitecap proc bombed, Tide Pool 1 end redux, and Shifting Tides 5 Ragnarok.. we’ll see how it goes. Toon is 42 now and growing, should get to play it at 50+1 a little this evening if I keep up this pace with the afk farming while working… Also I went probably too hard on HP bonuses considering Power of the Depths might be perma. Can already see where the first respec might tweak some things…
  7. How are people thinking of slotting: Whitecap? Tide Pool? (Maybe just an end redux in this one?) Shifting Tides? Trying to finalize my build today before the toon hits 50.
  8. What does everyone think of Intensify these days. I kind of hate that the power is only (allegedly) good because of Storm Cell procs (which are hard to observe/measure), and I’m leaning closer and closer to skipping it.
  9. If you guys wind up getting the -res in this set (or something else truly worthwhile) reduced again over some of these wackier wants, Ima be pissed. You don’t need -ToHit to function. All of my Storms and my Natures skip those powers in fact. And mez *resistance* is largely useless compared to other attribute boosts.
  10. Use your ATO sets a little more originally than blanket 6-slotting and plop that Sudden Acceleration in there. Wormhole is way strong as is. You mention it’s the only AoE control with KB but fail to mention that it’s the only AoE control with TP. I’d say those two things balance each other out. I’ll take an AoE TP+Stun+KBtoKD over an AoE Stun any day of the week.
  11. I think Power of the Depths already has a lot of great effects and I wouldn’t want to see one removed in exchange for something offensive.
  12. They can’t buff anything until they nerf the changeling exploit into the ground so let’s make sure we start at the right place.
  13. Bubblebeam was a sick attack when I was like 6 years old, but meta players only run Surf.
  14. If you ask me, every character in the game that isn’t 50+1 with 500M-1B investment is trash and only on the team to be carried so…
  15. So has anyone discussed the viability of this set in a 4* setting? If it’s good enough to sub in for one of the typical roles (like, say, how Elec Affinity or Trick Arrow are not Cold/Nature/Kin but are close enough)… I might as well pair it with Ice Blast. Otherwise, I’m leaning Water Blast for the pure RP.
  16. My single greatest source of Aethers by far is the market, and everyone’s got access to that.

  20. With 4 damage procs and a -res proc, Infrigidate is a core part of a Cold’s attack chain. Definitely not skippable. Shoal Rush as an AoE will have a lower proc rate, so we’ll see. Might still be a nice little Fire Ball + debuff effect.
  21. It does but the formula is based on base radius I guess. Tankers maintain their proc rates in spite of their radius increase. I’m too toasted atm to explain why if anyone wants to take over from here.
  22. You don’t have to type in your global to send yourself stuff. Just keep an email from yourself in your inbox so all you have to do is click reply.
  23. No. Proc chance is based on radius, not range. Radius does not change with range enhancement.
