Can you give an example of what a desired “roadmap” would look like? Use the last page as an example. In my experience, the only people that have been attacked on this topic are those that are obviously asking for explanations in bad faith (aka, demanding explanations so you have another narrative to viciously attack when the page doesn’t give you everything you want, not so you can come to terms with devs’ approach). For example, there were many demands that the devs provide rationale for Arsenal Control not having Web Envelope. These were clearly in bad faith because the explanations didn’t put anything to rest; the people making the demands just wanted to stir up hell in the feedback threads and their demands for explanations were just demands for argumentative ammo.

Unfortunately there are people on the discord that I steer clear of. So, not an option.

This is not remotely true unless you abuse temp powers and accolades (which we know you do), count pet DPS on pylons that don’t fight back, etc. 700+ DPS is absolutely *upper* tier DPS under normal circumstances, even for Scrappers or Blasters. I can absolutely guarantee that you cannot take a mid-tier primary/secondary pick and get that much DPS under a reasonable set of basic rules. And if a Kheldian with 85% resistance can get to that level, it’s broken and in need of fixing.

You have to factor in the fact that one of Lauci’s data points is reliant on abusing a cheesy exploit/glitch that is way overdue for fixing. Comparing a human form to a changeling macro abuser is not the same as comparing a human form to a tri-form. In a balanced world where obscene bugs are actually taken care of by non-negligent developers, no Kheldian should ever approach 700+ DPS given they nearly have Tanker-level mitigation. EDIT: Oh hey @PeregrineFalcon I disagree with the devs on something. Them leaving the changeling glitch in the game for this long amounts to malpractice. Thought you ought to witness this.

(1) I don’t see what’s so special about anchor powers needing time to activate. Lots of powers need time to activate. (2) These powers are strong enough (3) To the extent (2) isn’t true for any one power, activation time buffs would do the trick - no need for over-engineering. Sorry I don’t get it.

I mean the devs couldn’t really listen to feedback in that case considering typical feedback was requesting ridiculously overpowered things like just having 1-second ET all the time.

It’s extremely easy to tell that the system goes from the bottom up because (1) one look at the ingredients required shows that lower tier powers are pre-requisites for higher tier ones and (2) the higher tier powers clearly have superior effects. This narrative that the system is too inaccessible is wild. Ask for 2 minutes of help in game if you need to and boom, done.

Yeah… I did pylon testing back when it meant testing the S/T DPS *of your PvE build*. Zero interest in whatever nonsense is being done with builds like AA’s.

This thread makes me kinda want an Arse/ troller. Controllers are usually more free to proc bomb their primaries than Dominators. My dom only has the S/T hold proc bombed I think.

I haven’t had any characters built for pylon killing in a long time now (basically since 4* ITF came out and replaced the Ageless meta with the Barrier meta), but you’ll be the first to know if I get back into it. Agree - the only info about Incarnates that you can’t get in game is obscure details like how much damage Interface procs do. The crafting process and what each power does is very well detailed in game.
