Scatter is still caused by some of the absolute top performers in the game. Sleet. Oil Slick Arrow. Blizzard. If there’s something wrong with a little scatter, it sure isn’t reflected in the meta. Players must be completely okay with a little scatter, or these sets wouldn’t be as dominant as they are today.

So scatter is only problematic if your AT icon is purple. Gotcha 🙄

If you think every powerset combo with a scatter mechanic but no AoE immobilize is “bad”, then you’ve written off so much of the game that you can’t possibly be taken seriously from here on out.

HC does a lot of buffs and reworks, so there’s no reason to believe this statement.

You do realize there’s tons of precedent for people having powers that scatter without having an AoE immobilize available, right? Illusion Doms AoE stun, Trick Arrow patches, Storm patches, Rain of Fire, Ice Storm, Oppressive Gloom, etc etc etc. People function just fine without AoE immobilizes. I even skipped the AoE immobilize on my recent Symphony/Trick Arrow because I really didn’t have space for it, because I thought my Oil Slick’s slow would do well enough, and because most of my damage (procs) wouldn’t benefit from Containment. This does not constitute a problem.

Well he’s trying to make said point to beat a dead horse. The facts are (1) we’re not getting an AoE immobilize and (2) Ill/Storms, Mind/Storms, Storm Corruptors, Storm Defenders, and Storm Masterminds all demonstrate that that’s okay.

Umm... no, World of Pain or Faraday Cage do not dish out as much resist buffing as Sonic Dispersion PLUS Sonic Shields.

As a GM you should probably know about popular exploits that players are using to achieve otherwise impossible levels of performance. No? This admission strikes me as a tad embarrassing on your part… I want to see problems get fixed and the actual homecoming team is over here saying they don’t have a clue. Discouraging.

Stalker is the best choice because your ST damage will suck otherwise.

Looking at Dominator trends, M30 Grenade would appear in an epic pool if anything. Definitely not in a Dominator secondary.

Does the toggle draw aggro which takes you out of Hide? Or does Hide suppress the toggle’s effect, so that you don’t draw aggro?

Can you explain how Chilling Embrace works with Hide? Does being hidden suppress Chilling Embrace?

Yeah, no chance of it going live at this point. Our playerbase despises free and completely optional bonuses apparently.

I like this because it seeks to give less meta roles and playstyles a seat at the table and because it gives us another completely optional source of Prismatic Aethers.

I think it makes sense to make Heavy Blow KD. Buckshot and Trip Mine not so much.

Setting challenges to Enemies buffed is neither an AE thing nor does it tune down any of your powers. So have you tried that?
