Another contributing factor is that these new pylons apparently don’t deal damage. Until I realized that, I assumed your Fire Imps actually surviving long enough to contribute DPS was some sort of test server hack. I guess they’ve made the pylon test that much easier.
Back when I was doing pylon runs on doms, Phantasm and Umbra Beast had no chance without Spirit Ward, and Fire Imps and Haunt had no chance at all.
I don’t understand why it’s a problem that players who don’t yet know how to make money are struggling to make money. This has been the case in every MMO I’ve played. You’re just supposed to learn.
So your idea is genuinely “Let’s make Psy Blast 2 and Mind Control 2”? Yeah I don’t think the devs are going to pick that up. They tend to create unique powersets, not tweaked copies.
Also, the value of one bar of patrol xp is so much greater than the former amount of xp that you could literally be capped when you get the vast majority of your badges and still derive a net benefit from the change.
If possible, the rule should be something like: you can have two auto powers if neither is an attack.
That way, Doms, SR/Shield/Nins, SS with Rage etc could get the benefit, but afk farming wouldn’t be strengthened at all.
