Do you find it “easy” (as in not burdensome) to log in to 100+ alts in a day just because you’re scrounging for some cash or a transcendent merit? Say no to a QoL improvement, but acting like maintaining a very detailed spreadsheet every single day is every bit as good as an alternative strikes me as a little ridiculous. I will live without this change but I sure as hell will not track every 1 influence, every merit, and every vet level manually. I often switch characters every 25 minutes or so nearly every night. Do you think I want this to be a fulltime bookkeeping job, or a game?

I agree here. We could argue about which powers “would be nice to have” at certain levels and we’d probably wind up with the single target immobilizes being T9 powers because everyone can stand to hold off on those. BUT…. That would be… stupid..

It’s a bit much I guess that you can get hit by a Malta stun grenade, and, before it wears off, your team can complete the mission; you can zone out; and then still have a chunk of time wandering around drunk outside. I swear some of those last minutes.

Well my position is still that Regen works as well as anything and perhaps better than some things provided you play as if you’re not completely allergic to occasionally using small inspirations. AND I can’t say I think I’d want to play Scrapper Electric or Fire Armor without inspirations any more than Regeneration. The set’s biggest problem is it scares away hardcore arbitrary-rule-setting power players that have dozens of /bio characters, and I’m generally ok with that. 🙂 Anti-inspers are so weird.

I think we should focus on more popular ideas not yet covered for Masterminds - lot of ground to cover there still before you get to an arbitrary niche like this. And then port Illusion Control to Dominators with Phantom Army swapped out for something else. IMO Phantom Army as is on Dominators would be way too OP.

Thinking on this further I think the OP makes a compelling argument for expanding 100 yds to 150 or 200 but not more 🙂 Street sweeping can be very lucrative. It’s what I do most often if I want to work on veteran levels solo without loading up a farmer. Definitely not definitively worse xp than missions in all cases - often much better. I’m fine with the idea that you shouldn’t lose xp too quickly if you fall behind by one mob for a minute. I do not think that translates to removing the cap entirely and getting xp from anywhere - no thanks to that.

That’s my guess is that people might say the power is bad because the AoE barely tickles. But they’re missing the point: it’s a Blaze with a little baby splash, not a Fire Ball.

I just slot it two recharge IO’s to optimize its use as my big bad -regen power when soloing AV’s on Ill/Dark. No dead dudes needed.

Sure but it’s more of a bug fix than a buff since it’s been thoroughly proven by the numbers that Envenomed Blades toxic proc is currently total trash compared to every other set’s damage buff.

They just need to fix the toxic damage proc to be more potent and the set will be fine.

Having a single target focus =/= set is bad. Get Fire Ball or Dark Obliteration or Ball Lightning if you’re struggling with StJ.

So you’re purposefully playing a very bad defender. Playable in this easy meta? Obviously yes - that shouldn’t impress anyone. Making the contribution you could if not for your own RP reasons? Nope, you’re not - don’t sugar coat it 🙂

Looks like a @Snarky build so maybe he can weigh in. He is famous for maxing out ranged defense while being completely allergic to procs 🙂 Too far removed from how I’d build it for my input to be useful to you.
