  3. The suggestion is nice, but, its expected result… I don’t think giving every OP meta build in the game extra power picks (even mules add power) at this point in the game’s life makes a lot of sense.

  6. Medicine isn’t that bad right now. Aid Other as Preventive Medicine mule, and then Aid Self + Field Medic is quite powerful. I think a lot more people would pick it up as is if not for crippling LotG addictions.

  8. Agree with Voltak’s picks. The normal stuff doesn’t work the same in 801’s etc. I’ve been crushed in those on Time Defs. Can’t play the same old defense/recharge/damage meta in actual hard content.

  10. Trying to imagine what’s left of Traps when you only take mobile stuff… why would you even play that at all, that’s like 2-3 powers and skips all the best ones.
  11. I enjoy Relentless just fine, but have yet to successfully get the accolade badge 😞 I only find the accolade and Ripplesurge to be the worst. Most of the TF is not too bad on hard mode.

My level 50 poisons are: /dark def /ice def /dp def ice/ corr grav/ troller elec/ troller My Poison/Dark is my #2 main toon and will always be my favorite Poison, but, that being said, I picked a couple of these combos when I still PvP’d, and I would agree with generally prioritizing something with multiple real AoE’s over cones, like /fire, /rad, or /elec. Not that there’s anything wrong with Targeted AoE but something with PBAoE like /rad or /elec is really maximizing that synergy factor. For general play that will be most impressive. But you can also solo AV’s and stuff in which case my Poison/Dark is very good at that 🙂 Water would also be a nice option if you can’t pick between AoE’s of other sets and Dark’s self heal - Water getting both.
  13. Have you thought of running one with Ageless Radial instead of Barrier Core to compare? It’s a hard choice on Regen imo.

  15. My regen is ice/regen/soul brute with speed/leap/fight/leadership, no Darkest Night. But I want to make that regen scrapper with RoP/Shadow Meld abuse. And I’m seriously considering fire because, although I have all melee sets at level 50, fire is the only melee set I don’t have on a non-/fire brute. But maybe 2 low end sets at once is not the way, for now. Will maybe work on a build this afternoon. Why no LotG in MoG? Interesting just skipping GFS entirely… I feel like I would want as a Scrapper for the higher proc rate on critical strikes but not sure. No double performance shifters makes my heart hurt but if your end is fine.. Will maybe look more when home 🙂
  16. Seems too OP unless most of these are super long recharge / low uptime. What stats were you thinking for each power? Looks like a lot of 600 second recharge powers as far as how pool powers tend to be balanced.

  19. Only 3 LotG’s now cuz Sorcery, but hey, Sorcery made the build faster 🙂 But yes I completely agree in most cases. I tried that here though and it complicated the chain too much to have Moonbeam recharge any slower. So I kept the Crushing Impact and Decimation sets even though that’s rare for me.
  20. On Tankers etc I definitely would slot more procs, but Dom secondaries can be super hungry for recharge.
  21. Smite/Midnight Grasp/Gloom/Moonbeam are all 4 very good DPA powers. Unlike /Fire, /Dark can slot the +damage proc in a long recharge heavy hitter (Midnight Grasp) which is a nice selling point. I also wonder if the -tohit helps with pet uptime but evidence is shaky on that one. Oh and with how aggressive I made this build I probably would’ve been killed a couple of the rounds were it not for Life Drain 🙂 I needed a lot of recharge bonuses to keep the Moonbeams coming so my slotting is Smite 5 Crushing Impact / Glad Strike Proc Midnight Grasp 5 Hecatomb / Ascendency Proc Gloom 5 Decimation / Glad Jav Proc Moonbeam 5 Apocalypse / Glad Jav Proc All of the above except Moonbeam have the minimum possible recharge enhancement (whatever has recharge enhancement is attuned instead if boosted). Moonbeam needs the max recharge. Sorry for not having mids on my macbook 😞 I’ll screenshot the build later. But yeah like I said I made some hefty sacrifices. It’s kind of making me want to make this a multi-build character. Because that is not how aggressive and squishy I’d normally build it were I not trying to push a boundary here.

Five more runs on new build Dark/Dark/Ice Dom T4 Musc Core / Degen Core / Pyronic Core / Ageless Core / Assault Radial Still Had Offense, Defense, and Survival Amplifiers Ridiculous build I would not normally make. Traded nearly all my extra slotting in toggle end reduction/mitigation, and control slotting for both 6 slotted Spirit Ward and Enflame, as well as adding the 2 +pet resistance procs. Reliant on Ageless and so on. Examples of substantial sacrifices include: most of my toggles only being slotted with procs (LotG, other res/def/travel uniques); both AoE controls are just slotted with Cloud Senses and relying on Domination for potency; and I literally skipped Dark Grasp (1-slotted immobilize will be used on AV's). Haunt was still typically dead most of the time but could often take an extra hit. Umbra Beast (with Spirit Ward and more resistance) on the other hand would only die maybe once per run and late enough that I'd be able to immediately resummon.   23. I will try to work in a little testing without amplifiers here and there. I am doing some truly obscene things to this dominator build at the moment trying to see what I can do about the dead pets problem, while also getting greedy for a couple other things.
  24. Yeah I guess I already have a few scrappers without taunt auras and they’re more or less fine…
