  1. I would agree with that except for the line used. The line is: "Price, huh? Do you want my soul? I'm not really using it...". That is not using an expression. That is quite plainly offering up your soul, with no idea how to actually do so. (Edit: Apologies for the very rapid response. I was adding the last edit on the OP, which took me 4 tries because the site kept logging me off and not saving what I typed.... So I was already on the page when you posted your response.)
  2. In the 3rd arc of the Hearts of Darkness, the 1st mission has you go to a Fortunata Fateweaver to discover Zephyr's weakness. When the Fateweaver says a price would be demanded, your character, regardless of background, morality, or intelligence, idiotically offers up his/her/their/its soul. Even if said character wouldn't even have one. There are multiple points in the Hearts of Darkness story line that I find... not well thought out... but this one is most likely the most egregious in my book. (At least Dean John Yu's lines have been updated since Live so he is less obvious about using your character. Still obvious, but less insultingly to the player in just how obvious it is.) So my request is this: A new line of dialogue selectable by the player is added to the interaction with the Fateweaver. A more generic dialog option such as simply asking what the price for the provided information is instead of the hamfisted forced on the player choice of offering up their soul. For players playing characters willing to offer up their soul? That dialogue option would remain. For others? An alternate approach that may fit their character concept better. (Like a robot character being able to inquire as to what the requisite price would be instead of offering up something it does not possess.) (I get that the Hearts of Darkness and Shining Stars arcs are built around newb characters that haven't got a clue so the player can learn about game features the basic tutorial doesn't cover, but come on.) Edit: It's like a DM/GM arbitrarily telling you what your character rolled for a check without anyone rolling anything or telling you how your character has to behave or act. Edit again: Just because a character is a newb/noob, does not mean the character is an idiot. And even from the assumed human perspective of the game, there are a plethora of reasons why the human would either not be able to offer up their soul or would be unwilling to offer up their soul.
  3. There was an update, back on Live I believe, that when you cleared a map and only a single spawn was left, they would be marked on the map. The problem is, it only sometimes works. When you're doing a defeat all mission, especially a timed one, that marker is very helpful. Too often however, it just isn't there. (I just spent 88 minutes chasing my tail on a timed kill all trying to find an unmarked spawn. I ran right by where they were repeatedly without them seeing me [despite looking in my direction apparently] or me seeing them [despite looking at them as well]. So I'm inclined to think they were bugged and had spawned off the map, but came back on the map after I left and re-entered.) The fact that marker will show up on a non-defeat all mission but not on some defeat all missions is mind-blowing. So my request is simple. Can that code be set up to always activate when there is a single spawn left on the map regardless of map/mission? Please?
  4. I don't have any viruses. Just ran a full comprehensive scan again a couple days ago. And no other site dumps me, just this one.
  5. I would rather either no change or a 1-2% damage boost from Boxing and Kick than add a -Fly component to Brawl. Things like Air Superiority and the storms having a -Fly component makes sense. Not so much with the generic ability to throw a basic punch. With the debuffs the Fighting pool attacks have inherently and acquire from possessing the other Fighting pool attacks, the debuffs they give Brawl still make sense. (Though I am amazed at the -10% Recharge and -20% ToHit Brawl picks up when you have everything, they still fit with what the Fighting pool does. -Fly does not.)
  6. I have issues with this statement. I went to City of Data, but I am unwilling to try and figure out the expressions listed. So I'm using Mids for this. Brawl with Boxing, Kick, and Cross Punch has a -10% Recovery, -0.1% Regeneration, -20% ToHit, and -10% Recharge debuff. While I never realized there was any -regen' there, the rest is actually rather useful. Dark Melee only imposes a -7.5% ToHit for instance. And with only a single recharge reduction enhancement and no global recharge reduction effect, Brawl can be used every 1.4 seconds. At 0 END cost. That's a lot of debuffing. (Also, my electric characters will happily dispute your claim that enemies can use any and every attack in their arsenal with only 1 END available. I've kept enemies locked to using only Brawl or their weakest attack because it is the only thing they can use when their recovery triggers just before my attack rips that END away. Brawl does not take away the target's END, just their recovery, so you won't see that effect with Brawl the way you would with Electric Melee.) The Detailed Info only gives what the power does. It does not say what it does after the target's damage resistance is applied. That isn't lying. Like @FupDup said, Brawl is a filler power players can use when low level and still lacking their attack chains or when END drained so they can still fight. It is not an AT primary/secondary power. It should not be able to compete with those powers. However, it does rather well when you take up the Fighting pool because with all 4 attacks, you get -5% Recovery, -3% END, and (chance for) KD from kick, another -5% Recovery, -2% END, and (chance for) Stun from Boxing, -10% ToHit, (chance for) KD, and self buffs from Cross Punch, and Brawling finishes it off with its previously listed Fighting pool provided debuffs. (And you can still use Brawl while at 0 END whereas every other attack power in the game requires END to use.) I don't care if the devs decide to make Boxing and Kick boost Brawl's damage as well, so I'm not opposed to the OP. However, your justification is in error.
  7. Yeah... I'm not one of them. More power to them. Buy as many PAP costumes/auras you want. No skin off my back. Not everyone in the game is a multi-billionaire though. And it usually takes me a few months to get to that point on any given character. (Edit: +5'ed?) I'm not saying the PAPs should be more common drops or the costumes/auras you can buy with them should be cheaper. All I'm saying is that you shouldn't hold your breath over seeing those costumes/auras becoming common use.
  8. Yeah... some of us are disinclined to farm enough PAPs to be able to buy those. At 250 apiece, duo'ing 1-star Hard Mode TFs at 2 PAPs a run (especially for soloists who's friends can only play a few times a week for an hour each time), that's a lot of runs (125) to get. And at 3.5M inf' (current rate on AH) for each? That's 875,000,000 inf' per aura.
  9. This isn't a suggestion or feedback, but I wasn't sure if web site bug reports were supposed to go under the game bug forum or here. Randomly, the web site just logs me off. Like just now, I logged on to my forum account and started typing a response on a thread, but when I tried to submit my response, the site said the thread was not available to me for some reason. A page refresh showed I was logged off. This has happened three times today and randomly previously. Sometimes this results in my post completely disappearing, though other times the site recovers my post and I can still submit it without having to try and remember what I had previously typed.
  10. I've outleveled my origin (and other) contacts frequently. And the origin ones have always come back flagged as active until they gave me the next contact in the line. Even when I was 10 levels past them so the new contact was also already outleveled. (Edit: Admittedly, that is just my personal experience, but it is also all I have available to go on.)
  11. I don't think that set was ever finished. Would be interesting if it was though. I may have to try a Controller again if it gets finished.
  12. Not opposed, but if you're following your origin contacts through their stories, aren't they already introducing you to the next contact for your origin when you reach the correct level to get access to them? (Edit: At least in my experience, in the "choose your contact" list from the contact, the presented contacts tell you if they are in your character's origin progression.) (Edit again: And when you reach the correct level, in my experience, they only give you the next contact for the origin. Even becoming active contacts again just to give you the contact.)
  13. For the Assault Bot's missiles, you can just have the missile power pop a shoulder-fired missile launcher to keep the emanation point the same. Edit: Wouldn't be the first time a power added a feature to justify its effect, though the primary examples are all temp powers.
  14. How do you know the demons and wolves aren't females? (The lionesses definitely are. After all, a male lion is a lion, not a lioness.) (Edit: Well, except for the Demon Prince since prince typically denotes male. Though I do need to point out it doesn't always. Prince, Lord, and King have even been used to denote females, just not historically. In the rare anime, some video games, and fantasy games including D&D, you will find females under the heading of Princes, Kings, and Lords. Typically when referring to demons, elementals, and other non-humans.) I'm not following. Since the bots themselves are not built to reflect human gender, they can already be female, male, or whatever. And if you specifically want a gynoid, why not just use the Praetorian Clockwork/War Works?
  15. It actually does make sense. Especially in your final fight where you free the Cimeroran's soul from it. He was a guardian fighting to protect others right up to the point he became the Sentinel of Mot. Some part of him still remained true to himself, so he still held back. Then when his soul was freed and the Sentinel of Mot was left as an empty shell for Diabolique to use, it no longer had anything holding it back, so it goes all out in the DD itrial. So it's an AV in the itrial, but an EB in the DA story arcs. Edit: Also, all AVs downgrade to EBs automatically for soloists who haven't chosen to encounter AVs. That's the point of that difficulty toggle. (Except in TFs/SFs, because those are set for team play, but we are allowed to try and solo them. So no downgrades there.)
  16. Not everyone can drop the Sentinel of Mot as fast as you, and in the Dark Astoria missions, they are set up so that they can be soloed. So you have to factor the enemy difficulty for any AT with any power set combination having to fight him. (Edit again: And not necessarily with any incarnate powers available to help them in the fight since if you jump straight to DA and do those missions at level 50, you probably won't have any incarnate powers built yet.) (Also, when you're fighting level 50+ mobs? They already can drop purple recipes occasionally. So that part of your request is already in effect. [Edit: As long as the mission allows you to actually defeat the Sentinel of Mot. Because only defeated enemies have drops.]) Edit yet again: If you were asking for the Hard Mode difficulty setting or another similar optional setting be made available for the DA story arcs? I wouldn't care. (And besides, the devs already said they were slowly working on making that option possible for us.) It's the "I find something too easy so the default game difficulty needs to be made more difficult so that it challenges me and who cares if others already find the content difficult" approach to suggestions I cannot and will not support.
  17. Will the costume let me stand near Lusca without it attacking me and give me a tentacle slap attack (and only let me use that attack) to use against players trying to kill Lusca while giving me tentacle HP, DEF, and DAM RES? Pretty please? Can players and mobs not be able to target me while a fire hydrant, bus stop, or parked car except on mayhem/safeguard maps while also disabling my attacks until I turn off the costume? (Even preventing me from using my own attacks while in the costume on safeguards/mayhems despite being targetable?) Pretty, pretty please?
  18. But that's not what we're talking about, "making it harder", the topic at hand was making it easier. Not actually true since no one is asking for autohit to be removed. The request is: "I'm noticing more and more enemies that have the capability to autohit you regardless of your defense. Arachnos Night Widows can use an automatic blind that doesn't even show up in the hit rolls OR the combat logs. The Tarantula Queen's ability, "Scramble Thoughts" is an autohit. So you're saying that even if your defense was 2000%, these powers are going to automatically work on you no matter what? Just take an inspiration and deal with it? How many other enemy abilities are autohit? " The request does not say a single thing about removing autohit. It asks how many enemy abilities are autohit and comments that the author is noticing more and more enemies getting autohit capabilities. It also points out that excessive use of autohit, which the OP does not claim we have, invalidates defense focused characters. So my read on the OP is "okay, so we have autohit enemy attacks, but are how far are you devs planning on going with this?". A cautionary comment from the player's PoV, not a request to make the game any easier.
  19. Oh... yeah... I guess I blocked that one out.... I have to point out that it actually is possible to separate the four of them... just... uhm... extremely unlikely. Or at least it used to be possible? But yeah... that fight sucks unless you have a team for it.... Edit: You also don't need to go to Ouroboros to do it. You can get it from Lord Recluse as long as the team leader unlocked it. Doing it through Ouroboros just lets you fight Statesman at the end with the Freedom Phalanx. It's the SF I was talking about it being trickier to separate the Freedom Phalanx. I just tend to block out the frustration of that specific mission you were talking about.
  20. If you are talking about the Ms. Liberty TF (formerly the Statesman TF) where you fight Ghost Widow, Scirocco, Captain Mako, and Black Scorpion at the same time, then those AVs actually can be split up. You have to be careful, and it helps to use Scrapper Confront to do so (or any other ST attack that can be leveraged from max range to get the attention of one of the AVs), but it can be done. I've been on multiple runs where we split them up. (The trickier one is trying to split up the Freedom Phalanx at the end of the Lord Recluse SF.) (Edit: Make sure none of the other AVs can see the trigger player or the team. Stay at max range possible and immediately break LoS. It's hit or miss for working, but it can work.) (Edit again: The downside of Confront for that is the range since its normal range is 70 feet. The upside is that the Scrapper can usually survive and get out of the way when the hate comes back.)
  21. The author is looking for the random button from the costume creator to be replicated to the trainers (like Luminary) and the Icon/Facemaker tailors/surgeons. Once you finish making your character, that button goes away. Adding the ability to lock costume items during random would be greatly appreciated by me.
  22. I loved this line most of all. 🤣
  23. Others have asked for an Insight update as well. I'm not opposed, but @arcane is right. "This set is not as good as the best set" is not a good reason to change something. There will always be a range of capability between power sets in order to have a variety of styles and mechanics. I'm not against your suggestion, but I am against your justification.
  24. Citation can't be provided. My reference is purely anecdotal. From complaints I've gotten from a friend that I need to use less clues in my AE arcs (which I reduced) to complaints from those I've teamed with (on occasion) complaining about the existing pop-ups (which occured on mission entrance, mostly along the lines of "This isn't my mission, why do I have to have the pop up too?"), to some half-remembered comments made on these forums. (Note that I said "a large portion", not "a majority".)
