Either way, I'm not a fan of the idea of shame badges or negative accomplishment badges. What would those even track anyway? We already have being defeated badges.
-
So door sit in a farm until 50+3 so the world can check your character and see how good a player you are for not having gotten any of these negative accomplishment badges? (For clarification, this is "you" in the general sense.)

We're done. Welcome to ignore.

Depends on how you view taking Primal sides. In Provost Marchand's arc, you have Praetorians in Primal Earth after the fall of Praetoria that are still very much being Praetorians. They still have the same Power/Crusader and Responsibility/Warden sides, its just that they merged into 2 groups instead of 4 subgroups.

@Xion80, please start reading what other players are trying to tell you and not just treating feedback like it's some horrible thing. I get you are trying to defend your idea, but you are absolutely refusing to hear what anyone says. Accepting feedback and working with those responding to you is not a bad thing.

Looking through your posts, all of them even though I'm only providing the OP, I'm not seeing where you stipulate what these "great rewards" are. Only that the possibility of getting them for playing in this manner would be there. And players can make the game harder by using DOs/SOs instead of IO sets. They can go to the START vendor and turn off inspirations so they don't have access to them even when the fight gets difficult. They can play power sets and/or ATs they haven't tried yet and struggle with that learning curve. They can increase the difficulty up to +4/x8. They can choose to not use the best powers from their chosen power sets. There are so many different ways to increase the challenge in the game. Yes, we lose access to inf' from enemy drops when we use the double xp boost from the START vendor. Yes, we lose access to abilities that are more than 5 levels higher than the TF/SF we are doing or the story arc we are playing through via Ouroboros' flashback system. Yes, we can take on added challenges when we opt to do a TF/SF or Ouroboros flashback story arc. No, they aren't permanent. No, I'm not stating your idea would be either. What I am stating is that you are providing a mechanic that only benefits the best players or the sturdiest ATs. That anyone playing a squishy AT will find it near impossible to play using your idea, and because they would not be using your idea because it would make the game unplayable for them, they will miss out on whatever benefits you have not stated/listed. Your idea is heavily skewed in favor of a set player group playing specific ATs using specific builds to reap your unstated rewards.
-
Right! That mean you wouldn't turn on the mode, an continue your scheduled program. And miss out on your stated opportunity for better rewards. The way you have this presented is either players put themselves in a bad spot and play the way you want them to, making it extremely difficult to solo as a squishy, or they play as is and lose access to the unstated "great rewards".

You're on the wrong forum. This is the Bug Reports forum, where things that shouldn't be happening in the game but are or things that should be happening in the game but aren't get reported. You want the Suggestions and Feedback forum. https://forums.homecomingservers.com/forum/45-suggestions-amp-feedback/

trolling Make Hamidon immune to being made intangible
Rudra replied to Laucianna's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
No, because then players could choose to no longer be subjected to being phased by mobs. -
Suggestion for correcting the Tyrant bug in Magisterium trial
Rudra replied to Voltor's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
The hold is called Time Freeze in Keyes You are misunderstanding me and I don't want this to devolve into an argument. So I'll simply say there is no way to stop time in a MMO, the best you can do is an unresistable hold. That however runs up against both a radius and duration concern. Nothing in the game can freeze game time, not even cut scenes. So on that note, I will not be responding on this thread further. -

I don't remember any time freezes in that trial. Just holds. If you were out of range of his "time freeze", you weren't held. It was basically a wide area PBAoE hold. It has been quite a while since I did it though. -
Suggestion for correcting the Tyrant bug in Magisterium trial
Rudra replied to Voltor's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Agreed. How do you freeze time in a MMO anyway? Even the cut scenes aren't frozen, otherwise players wouldn't be able to interrupt Marauder. (Edit: For clarification, I'm not talking about the emotes being done behind him, I mean the player comments during his cut scene.) -
It makes sense that your Praetorian character can't access Last Bastion. Your Praetorian character starts in Praetoria (the city) and as far as I can tell, Last Bastion isn't part of the city. Even First Ward is still part of Praetoria (the city), just a part abandoned to Hamidon for dumping people Cole doesn't want. To reach Last Bastion though, your not an incarnate character has to fight his/her/their/its way past incarnate tier Devouring Earth to find a little rinky dink hold out point your character most likely doesn't even know exists that Cole left to be overrun. I'm surprised Reese made his way there without getting turned into an infested. Following the game's story, your character would be present at the fall of Praetoria (the city) making a desperate last stand against an army of Avatars of Hamidon and a fleet of Seeds of Hamidon plus apparently Hamidon himself given all the tentacles and all the infested IDF and Devouring Earth mobs Hamidon had there to throw at them. At which point your character either becomes an NPC Infested, dies, or is evacuated to Primal Earth by either Arachnos or Vanguard (with the Freedom Corps and Portal Corps assistance). So you would still need to go Primal to have access to Last Bastion.

Dark Founder's Falls map needs the water bubbles lowered slightly. Not only is the water bubbling, so is the walkway. Server: Everlasting Zone/Mission: IOM_FOUNDERSFALLS_DA Position: [3499.1 -12.0 2566.6]

They are random though. Just pictures uploaded with no clarification and guidance as to what is desired from them. For example, the first picture. Is the poster asking for a tiger head breastplate? (Edit: Maybe just a tiger head chest detail?) Or is the poster asking for that hairstyle? Is the poster asking for an armored bodysuit or a loin cloth? For clawed gauntlets? Maybe the large, metal, hoop earrings? For all of it to be able to make that exact character? (Which the devs won't do.) Second picture is an ornate breastplate, but is it that pattern specifically or just an ornamented breastplate that is desired? Third picture is a really small portrait, so not much detail to go off of. However, is it the hairstyle that is desired? The arm sashes or whatever those are called? The dress that the devs have already stated they can't do because of how bad the clipping is with various character animations but still gets routinely asked for? Fourth picture, is it the straps that are desired? If so, are they desired as a belt option or as part of a specific set of pants like how other patterns are? Is it the gloves? Is the collared bodysuit top with the plunging neckline? Is it the pattern of the bodysuit itself specifically, and if so, what all does the poster want that pattern available for? Fifth picture? Is it to be able to make a topless female character? (Because I'm pretty sure that won't ever happen.) Is it the quad wing cape? If so, is it specifically as a cape or does the poster want quad wings instead? Is it the tentacle-like hair style? Is it the head dress? Sixth picture is a rehash of pictures 1, 3, and 5 for questions but adding in face mask. I can't make anyone actually state what they want when they post pictures on the thread. However, I will point out that not including such information works against the poster rather than in the poster's favor. Edit again: And while you are correct that the devs can simply ask for themselves what the poster wants, why should anyone bother if the poster himself/herself/themselves can't even be bothered to give an idea of what exactly is desired from the pictures?
-
And what exactly in those pics, other than the breastplate, does the poster want copied? The devs have already stated they won't simply copy other people's work. Edit: Here is a question for the three of you: Why is asking for clarification on random pictures uploaded to the thread such a bad thing to you? Edit again: And here is another one: How long is this derailment for the thread going to last?

The KB in powers that have KB doesn't have a duration. KB enhancements enhance their magnitude.

I have never seen anyone ignore the Immunes Surgeons on any ITF I have participated in. They get steamrolled just like all the rest.
-
That was the only picture in the set that was apparent what was being asked for.

A slider to control the range to see mobs
Rudra replied to DrRocket's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
The OP reads to me the way it has already been answered. That the author wants to see mobs farther away, not that the author is running up against the render limit.
