  1. This is true. So my questions are: Is this a problem currently? (in your opinion) And would reducing the duration to 1 hour but then allowing the duration to stack be a problem?
  2. 1) Tests have shown that Super Strength is not bottom tier when it comes to damage output. 2) The devs mentioned over 4 years ago that they were planning to look at procs. What happened that prompted this outrage all of a sudden? Are you in a closed beta test or something?
  3. No. From Day 1 Homecoming has had a rule against recreating trademarked characters. If you copy a trademarked character that's owned by someone else, and the IP owner finds out about it, they could sue Homcoming.
  4. People disagreeing with you IS NOT BULLYING. And people aren't automagically "entitled" simply because they disagree with you. I love how you all speed-hammer the report button whenever anything I post is even slightly confrontational and then you'll turn around and just insult a large swath of people like this.
  5. What? No! Look, the good thing about the base temp powers is that they don't cost a zillion Influence. Believe it or not, not everyone has 8 billion Inf socked away in emails. All your suggestion does is take the base temp powers out of reach of new players while not giving them a significant cost for the zillionaires of Paragon. Suggestion: "Hey everyone, let's allow the base temp powers to stack duration so that people won't have to keep running back the base all of the time?" Rudra: "I have a better idea! Let's jack the cost of the temp powers into the millions! Yeah. That'll keep the power creep at bay, right?" Other people are trying to come up with ideas that reduce the non-fun portion of the temp power process, but your post reads like you're trying to actively punish the player base for remembering that base temp powers exist.
  6. Someone suggested reducing the duration to 60 minutes, instead of the current 90, and then making the duration stackable. This suggestion actually makes these temp powers more expensive, and in return removes the tedium of having to go back to your base as often. I'm struggling to figure out where the powercreep is. Not every desirable change is powercreep.
  7. Unfortunately it appears that if your username isn't MassivelyOP then devs don't actually care what info you, or I, would like to see.
  8. You know, you all talk about how horrible the folks on Reddit are, but you know what I see? I see, right now, in that thread about the PC Gamer Article, a Thuderspy dev kinda smack talking Homecoming and being downvoted by his fellow redditors. So keep telling yourself that only the people on the Homecoming forums are ok and everyone else is bad/wrong all you want, but it's demonstrably untrue. And I'm less than sympathetic with people's complaints about the moderation on Reddit when the moderation here on the Homecoming forums has vacillated between "draconian snowflake protection program" and almost reasonable.
  9. It's not hearsay anymore. An NCSoft spokesman spoke with PC Gamer and was quoted in their article. What do you expect? Do you want someone at NCSoft to call you personally?
  10. Really? Because I just read this thread on Reddit and I don't see anyone saying that they don't believe it. Maybe you saw a different thread?
  11. Well now I guess "allegedly" can be safely removed from the Wiki page now. 😃
  12. Yes, and currently the only option is to take the slow path because taking the fast path would basically require you to completely surrender control of your character as it would become an NPC. However, Greycat is clearly suggesting an alternative that would allow your character to take this path but not become an NPC. This pretty much requires an option to break free from it, otherwise it's a horrible option that no one would take. Also, being able to break free from it is a perfect hook for a story arc. Besides, if you do take the fast path, and then later break free, it shows that your willpower is stronger than Recluse's is, which opens up other story possibilities.
  13. Was ist mit dir los? Warum schreibst du immer so sonderbar? Du bist kein Komiker. Ich finde dein Scherze nicht komisch.
  14. See, this attitude is exactly the reason why I hate most people. The very idea that I shouldn't be allowed to speak my mind unless I'm a big tough guy is ridiculous. You're correct that a lot of things get said on the internet that wouldn't be said IRL, and that's because of guys like you. Guys who think nothing of assaulting people smaller and weaker than them if they say anything that they don't like, and then criticize them for not being able to "whoop their way out of a wet paper bag" as you put it. You talk about us being "lower I.Q." and yet you're the one who's so flustered by this that you are unable to respond except with school bully threats. Real life isn't high school, and the ability to "whoop" isn't required to be allowed to speak. The CEO of my company can't "whoop" his way out of anywhere, but no one ever threatens him. Why not? Because we're adults.
  15. Nah, the dripping water drives them crazy. You don't want to break their sanity. It's nearly impossible to get actionable intel from a person in that state. By keeping them in the dark and letting them hear scary sounds for a couple of days they get hungry, can't sleep, and they keep imaging what's happening to cause those sounds. When you bring them out it makes them feel like you've rescued them, and they'll tell you everything.
  16. Performance art? That's what we're calling it now? Ok...
  17. No light. Leave them locked in a completely dark room and play recordings just outside the door of people screaming in pain. After 2-3 days of that everyone talks. Everyone.
  18. If you want all of your posts to read like the OP's, sure.
  19. Merit Reward Points are received based on the amount of Inf that you mail to other players. I can help you get a lot of Merit Reward Points by allowing you to email me as much Inf as you'd like. You can spend them at the ATM in your Supergroup Base, or the ATM at Wentworths in Kings Row, to buy IO recipes and badges.
  20. Ok, so how do you explain the other 385 posts that he made that weren't on April 1st but are just as bad?
  21. Sure he has. The OP is clearly an Alt-Troll account of someone who's played the game awhile. He's deliberately trolling, he's deliberately saying stuff to rile people up in hopes that they'll react so that he can report them to the who mods who'll swoop in and ban-hammer you for telling this person exactly what you should be allowed to tell them. Don't let yourself be baited by this person.
  22. Ok, I've been thinking about this, and here's what I think I'd do if I were the devs: First, normalize all of the Super Strength attacks so that their damage is about the same as it is now with one stack of Rage active. Tankers - Rage becomes like Strength of Will or One with the Shield. A click that lasts 60 seconds, has a 10 minute recharge and is immune to recharge buffs. This allows the Tank to tank and, about once per mission, do his "World of Cardboard" speech and lay the beat down on an EB. Brutes - Rage is just replaced with another attack, preferably one with a cool animation. You don't need Rage, you have Fury. Buff Fury. (I know that's a separate discussion) Scrappers and Stalkers get Super Strength with Build Up.
