  1. 3.5 years ago. https://forums.homecomingservers.com/forum/103-homecoming-launcher/
  2. I didn't even see the bucket, I was so distracted trying to remember which porn this was from.
  3. That's Movement_Friction. SS does that when Momentum is active. If you really like that, though, you want Combat Jumping. If there's the faintest hint of an angle to the vertical surface, you'll rocket up it with Combat Jumping.
  4. Report, Ted!
  5. We don't want your job. We have better things to do than pick up the slack from a bunch of bipedal organic waste excretion machines.
  6. Reported for reporting!
  7. Athletic Run doesn't increase your Run Speed while Super Speed is active. Travel powers were redesigned to only apply the strongest buff, three years ago, and Super Speed is faster than Athletic Run, so only Super Speed's +Run is applied if you're running both toggles. Super Speed's Momentum mechanic also provides comparable Jump Speed and more than twice as much Jump Height as Athletic Run, and those buffs included in the non-stacking rules, so you're really only benefitting from Athletic Run's +Jump Speed/Height when you're standing still. Sprint does stack with Super Speed, but as @macskull noted, you can hit the Run Speed cap without Sprint. So this "fix" appears to be for the "problem" of having to use enhancements to hit the Run Speed cap. That's from the Page 2 travel power update. That means "Use enhancements, that's why we have them."
  8. Having never purchased underwear, I was unaware of this development... but it's probably so you have a way to suffocate yourself after seeing what your ass looks like, crammed into a crotch-squeezing nightmare that makes all of the flesh around it appear to be made of dough and marshmallows.
  9. Proton Volley quick mode is the culprit.
  10. Alphas are mega-enhancements, essentially. They function like an extra enhancement in every power that accepts whatever they're enhancing.
  11. It's the fist pump animation that some of the Aim/Build Up powers have as an alternate. I don't have that animation option on this character, so it's not some weird quantum entanglement with an existing animation, I just noticed it doing it a couple of nights ago. Elec/Rad dominator, high 20's or low 30's, I don't remember when I first noticed it. I'll test tomorrow, try to figure out if it's a power I have active, combat stance or independent of either.
  12. Empowerment buffs aren't rewards for completing content, they aren't acquired via missions or *Fs or raids, they require no combat, there's no investment of time or effort, they're not even restricted to a single map or open only to characters who meet certain qualifications. You couldn't have made a worse false equivalency argument.
  13. Yup. First mission of The Library of Souls, Circle of Thorns. On reflection, I hadn't started that mission yet. I stopped in the station to check my salvage after zoning into Talos, before I started hoofing it to the mission in the screenshot. So the salvage could've come from the last mission of Kelly Nemmers' arc (Hatred's Hungry Heart, Stop the eternal battle), or from the Retrieve Council Robot Parts mission from Allison King, which I had to do to unlock her arc.
  14. Team Lead: "Might have to lower the difficulty... they have an army." Hulk Rip-off: "We have a Hulk! HULK SMASH!" Crumpet: "You have a GenericHero4628." GenericHero4628: "ZOMG Y U NO LET ME STEAL?????"
  15. Reasonable concern. But bases have been free for five years, empowerment stations have been in Trident and Crucible for 18 months, and... not one person has made a post about being expected to have empowerment buffs, or denied a spot on a HM or * team if they didn't have them. I suspect that the majority of buffs are of such little value in end-game scenarios that they're generally ignored, and the remainder are overshadowed by IO set bonuses and teammate buffs. They're all useful for leveling, but not so much once you have purples and attuned ATOs and Incarnates.
  16. People with small arms can't punch very hard, so I doubt anyone will be hurt.
  17. It should stick to salvage so lowbies and newbies aren't arbitrarily excluded. When you scale the cost of something up so high that only long-term players or hard-core grinders can afford it, you invite more problems than you solve.
  18. Damn, @Troo, you hooked a bunch with this one. Well done.
  19. Actually, I added that to the ToS. I need snacks.
  20. Proctological Monkey set confirmed for Issue 28!
  21. I'm level 33 in this screenshot. That's 8 levels below level 41, the threshold at which recipes begin using this salvage, and unless something's changed in the last couple of minutes, the enhancements we can craft with this wouldn't even be usable for another 5 levels.
