  1. I have ~50 cats. You'll never beat me in a stare-down.
  2. I'm too lazy to finish building a small dam to run a ram pump so I can have running water in my cabin, or even set up a sluice to divert water to a container. I'm damn sure not putting in the effort to bury a body deep enough to conceal a murder.
  3. This is neither a suggestion nor feedback, so why was it moved to the Suggestions & Feedback forum? It belongs in the Badges forum.
  4. We can reassemble fossilized bone fragments which are hundreds of millions of years old, deformed by geological processes, sometimes reduced to little more than tiny shards and frequently scattered over a wide area, and pull DNA out of bones which are 2,000,000 years old, and murderers think they're outwitting forensic specialists. The unemployment index in the evil super-genius sector is at 100%.
  5. Forensic pathology is one of my special interests.
  6. Thicker bones would also present a forensic problem. They'll crack open bones for the marrow, and swallow smaller or thinner bones, but they typically refuse to eat larger bone fragments, even if they're very hungry. And in the process of rooting for other food, they'll scatter the bones/fragments across a wide area (up to ~2.5 square miles). It would be like shoving the body into a wood chipper and blowing it all over your property. The soft tissues might not be there when the cops show up to ask where SoAndSo is, but the hard tissues would, and they would find them. They also won't eat hair, and hair takes a long time to decompose in nature.
  7. I've had to resort to removing my left hand from the keyboard when I'm at a base portal. Brain: "Okay, once I'm inside, zip over to the transfer poi-" Left hand: "PRESS W NOW? YES? YES! PRESSING W NOW!" Brain: "NO!" Right hand: "Click time? CLICK!" Brain: "What the Philharmonic Orchestra?!" Left and right hands: "MUSCLE MEMORY POWERS ACTIVATED!" Brain: "Left arm, retract. Now." Left hand: "*Darth Vader noooooooooooooooooo!*"
  8. That trailer gives me a Pandorum vibe.
  9. 100' -Stealth + NPC aggro system = banana balls.
  10. Something was nagging at me yesterday, while I was thinking about this, but I couldn't coalesce it. It came to me about an hour ago. Ian McShane. He's as perfect for the voice of Doctor Doom as James Earl Jones was for Darth Vader. Marvel screwed the pooch by not hiring him.
  11. It's risky. If he doesn't take off the mask, people are going to ask why his casting was such a big deal. If he does, regardless of how it plays out in the film(s), there's a lot of potential for it to backfire in their faces. But simply casting him has all but guaranteed that at least one of the relevant films is going to break records. People are going to flock to theaters to see whether they brought him back as Alternative Universe Stark, or just Doctor Doom. They might start riots and form lynch mobs afterward, but you know they're going to see at least one film. My theory is that they're not banking on Downey, they're banking on the Russo brothers. If they can pull off another Winter Soldier/Infinity War/Endgame, who plays Doom won't matter. That's what they're hoping for, Downey getting people through the door, the Russos gluing their asses to the seats.
  12. If I have to listen to one more bad accent from Tom Hardy... Jackie Earl Haley would make a perfect Doom. But I'd rather see him as Lex Luthor.
  13. Eh. I would've gone with Karl Urban. Dredd proved that he has the talent to deliver a compelling performance without showing his face.
  14. Mulching is done after planting. It's the final layer, not the first.
  15. There was. Per Wikipedia: "In What If: Iron Man: Demon in an Armor, Tony Stark is Doom's college roommate rather than Reed Richards, inspiring Doom to develop a machine that allows him to transfer his mind into Stark's body while leaving Stark trapped in his body with no memory of his past. While Doom uses Stark's connections and company to establish himself, the amnesic Stark- believing himself to be Doom- works to rebuild his life, creating his own company and forming his own reputation from the ground up. This culminates in a confrontation between the two wearing early versions of their respective armors- Doom having developed a green-and-silver Iron Man armor while Stark has created Doom's costume with gold and a red cloak-, during which Doom reveals the truth about their switch, only for Stark to reject the offer to switch back because Doom has destroyed the name of Tony Stark while Doctor von Doom has developed an honorable reputation."
  16. The default animation for Tide Pool is... pissing your pants?
  17. There's a bug which causes stored items, like those stacks of salvage, to list instead of the item you click. Based on the fee charged, that's likely what happened. Check the Selling tab.
  18. It's done in about a dozen missions. When you start playing, you'll find them.
  19. Do you have some evidence indicating that the teleport was added accidentally, and mistakenly left in through several beta updates and completely unnoticed despite every tester commenting on it? This should be fascinating.
  20. It does have a target. You. When you activate a PBAoE, the power checks the target (you), verifies that you're not in a defeated state, and proceeds to the hit roll phase. That's how PBAoEs work in this game, and they work that way so the AoE is always centered on your character. That's what makes them Point Blank Area of Effect powers.
  21. Rumor is that it also takes a pair of hippo balls.
  22. GrantPower PBAoE Confuse (excludes main target), Taunt (main target only).
