  1. Okay, I was wrong and there's actually no way short of manually editing the animations. 👍
  2. Archetype distinction and game balance.
  3. Interrupt enhancements only work in specific animations because the interruptible part of those animations is a short loop. They reduce the duration that the character has to play that loop. Animations themselves can't be sped up or slowed down unless a developer manually edits the animation. This engine can't do that, in other words.
  4. Joey, baby, don't get crazy.
  5. Controller, dominator and mastermind primary set pets have no timer. All other combat pets do, including Dark Servant. It's had a 4 minute duration since the game launched in 2004. Edit: The sentence above is incorrect. It had a 45s duration at launch, and was immobile. The duration was increased to 4 minutes, and the immobility removed, in Issue 2. https://web.archive.org/web/20120904235904/http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=112245 That's the oldest Dark Miasma guide on the old forums, dating all the way back to Issue 1. That's the only change that was ever made to Dark Servant's duration.
  6. No. But Karl Urban does. His chin carried a movie better than Tom Cruise ever has.
  7. The 15s +ToHit? If it is, using the Domination loss graphic and audio is the worst way to express that buff expiring, since the those graphics/audio are visual and aural warnings that shit's about to get real bad, real fast.
  8. Bar is full, Domination activated less than 20 seconds before the screenshot was taken.
  9. They should put Lusca in that "cement overshoes" bucket that the Family uses on Mooks, replace the concrete texture with a water texture and let it hop after you.
  10. Would we have to issue receipts to enemies if they wanted to return them? What if they decided to re-gift them, how would that be handled? Would there have to be a manager for someone to speak to if they weren't satisfied with them? And would these be available perennially, or limited to play during the Christmas season or characters' dates of creation?
  11. And the radii of the others? The AoE KD is like that, too.
  12. Testing on a Storm/Storm corruptor, I collected three tips, selected one and ran that. On completion, the other two tips were still there. Clearing the last couple of spawns after mission completion, I received one new tip, the two existing were untouched. Presumably, I didn't encounter an incredible streak of coincidence, in which the tips I entered with were repeatedly overwritten and eventually ended up exactly the same. I say presumably because it was an office map with low ceilings and I wouldn't have known if Jeremy Clarkson himself appeared in front of me, throwing tip notifications at the screen and shouting "SPEED AND POWER!", because STORM/STORM... But yeah, I think everything's back to normal.
  13. That would require locking those archetypes out of Defensive Amplifiers, Indomitable Will (Psi APP for controllers), Defiant Barrage proc (blaster ATO) and both Clarion and Melee Hybrid Incarnate paths, as well as removing any self-affecting status protection from their primaries/secondaries, in order to balance the XP/inf* boost. If that did happen, a lot of players would be howling for blood. And if they weren't locked out of those existing status protections, a lot of players would simply use those options and rake in rewards without additional risk.
  14. There. That's the right place for it. I have it slotted in Thunder Kick on my Dark/Martial, and it's very rare for it not to build up 2-3 stacks during combat. I don't spam Thunder Kick, either, I just cycle through my chain and it keeps piling on the +Damage. Mechanically, it's a native 6 PPM proc with a hacky restriction which only allows it to make a proc check in the first 0.5s of every 1.0s, so it behaves like a 6 PPM proc but is still kind of limited to a 3 PPM rate. It works best when treated like a 6 PPM proc, slotted in a power with a fast recharge time and frequently used.
  15. You can just back out of the costume editor on the existing character.
  16. Additional info: First post was for the dominator Electricity Assault version of Thunder Strike. All of the other versions have no Execute, they still use the Splash flag... and that's locked to 7' radius, not the new 10' radius.
  17. Domination is playing the audio and graphics for losing Domination every 90s. I have Domination recharging in 73.06s on this character, so it's not Domination dropping at the same time it recharges, and it's happening out of combat, when I have no other powers active.
  18. Not the kind of squirting that I want.
  19. You forgot to lock it at 0.67 on the AoE. Now it starts at 0.67 and scales up to 1.392.
  20. There'd be an uproar over one origin being numerically superior to all others and players feeling forced to select that. The powers would have to be identical in every way to prevent that, differing only in animations (and even the animation times would have to be identical)... and then people would be upset because Origin X had animations that they wanted, but couldn't have because they were Origin H. That's why Cryptic didn't do it, and why HC unlocked the origin power pools and probably won't try to replicate that attempt.
