  1. Ignoring the obvious problems with base raids such as items of power being useless and MM pets being stuck... I wonder if it would be a simple matter of turning "PvP Mode: OFF" to "PvP Mode: ON". Could the base items like turrets and traps be disabled if they were to potentially cause problems with stability?
  2. I've had this setup for about a year now and it's been working out alright. My first build ended up having issues with the motherboard (MSI B450-Tomahawk), so I swapped that out. I'm using a water-cooling loop I put together for the CPU and GPU.   3. I always got the feeling when going through the blue zones that most of it seemed too clean. A lot of the neighborhoods somehow give off an uncanny feeling, i.e. massive skyscrapers placed far away from the rest of the skyline with pristine streets. Going through redside, the Rogue Isles have much more interesting details with all the strewn garbage, shanty towns, and organic-looking pipes snaking about everywhere. The close proximity of all the buildings definitely lend a more realistic sense of design.

  6. Thanks again Dacy for testing this. I was able to change the attachment of the portal again to surface, but it seems that the "stuck in column" bug occurs and the player becomes trapped. It's a damn shame too. For a second I thought I'd be able to hide the awful secret entrance.
  7. I'd say the same thing, but I definitely saw the portal in a vertical position. At the time, I had checked to see if it was still usable with the /stuck command, and it still functioned without trapping the player. For some reason I can't reproduce the scenario that caused the portal to change position though.
  8. I'm not quite sure how it happened, but I was editing a base and suddenly the Secret Entrance portal changed orientation to be vertical instead of it's normal horizontal position on the ground. Normally this portal can't be tilted, so I'm not sure what I did to cause this to happen. I wish I had taken a screenshot of this, I reversed the changes already and it's back to normal now. 😢😫 Does anyone have any experience with changing the orientation of the Secret entrance portal?

  10. Heh, I wish. Maybe the columns could be made using tech assets? As for the reflective floor, I don't think we have anything like that in the editor. The curved walls are unique as well. Maybe the AE teleporter dome if you wouldn't mind the room being smaller?
  11. I pretty much only play on redside in the Rogue Isles. That isn't to say I haven't played the blueside content, but I vastly prefer the storytelling redside. I find villains to be more interesting than heroes for various reasons; villains drive the plot. Heck, my main is a villain, all my alts are villains, and my start-up screen is CoV. There are people that play redside, it's just a smaller community.
  12. It's likely the base was built on top or under the base rooms. We can now build "outside" the base, so long as it is within the base plot on map. This allows the builder to forego building within the base room walls. As for the question of making invisible walls, there are many asset items that are 1-sided. Meaning the reverse side is transparent, but will still act as a wall barrier to players, i.e. the large mausoleum floor.

The recharge on the pets could either be reduced, or have the pets be permanent in the sense that they do not die spontaneously after 2 minutes. Mace Mastery, please add the option for no-redraw on the mace powers. The attack animations and redraw with the mace are severely limiting factors for use in game. >What do you love? I really like all of the patron power pools. In particular Ghost Widow's pool: Soul Mastery: Soul Storm. The animation and effect of this hold power is great. I'd take it more often if it didn't require choosing a less useful power in the pool.
  14. I've been complimented a few times on my game-play. I mostly play blasters so it's along the lines of, "Wow, you're steamrolling these guys", or "You're everything, tank, DPS, control, heals" when playing my widow. I'll let people know if I like their game-play or costumes/bio sometimes. Usually I'm too focused on myself while in combat to really comment on others though. It always feels good to be complimented, so we should return the favor when possible, even if it's a blind tell in game.

  16. Picture examples of the problem would help here. I also have encountered these strange axis rotation problems. There is usually a way to prevent objects from rotating or moving unexpectedly. I have found the best results with disabling object 'snap-to-grid', and changing the steps of rotation, i.e. rotate on x-axis, before y-axis. Attaching to floor also helps.
  17. Like a few others have mentioned here, most of the pool powers are either VERY useful (Hasten, Tough, Weave), or are seldom selected since they require investing more heavily in the pool. It really is a shame that the player has to decide between choosing powers for their usefulness vs. choosing for thematic. Thinking of Munitions Mastery; LRM Rocket, Force of Will pool, etc. If some of the pool powers were looked at for increasing their abilities, or at least removing the restrictions for the T5 powers. In particular, I would like to see the (you must have choose 2 powers in the pool) restriction removed.
  18. My suggestion: Remove all cave maps from the game. Especially Circle of Thorns caves.
  19. For me and a few others I know, we run at +4/8 on max incarnate/ enhancement optimized builds for the challenge. I personally will run missions at lowest difficulty settings when I am prioritizing the end reward, or have already completed said mission on another character. After going through the same mission for the 5th time, you tend to want to get through it as fast as possible.
  20. Something simple I put together. I like how it turned out. The wooden racks are made of 'Contemplation Charts (Inactive)' holding Tsoo Swords.
  21. 60-70 seems really warm to me. This summer my temps have been around mid 40's on ultra settings. Over the winter idle temps were low 30's for me. I have a GTX 1080 Ti, water-cooling loop.

  23. Here's a few ideas I agree with after reading through the thread a bit. Get rid of Null the Gull Create the "hangout area" equivalent of Atlas Park statue in Mercy Create new mission content featuring YOU as the mastermind The best content IMO is mayhem missions. Create more missions where you face off against heroes instead of other villains. Have villain epic power-pools be accessible for villain/ rogues only.
  24. Which track is it? The music you set for your base has to be available in the homecoming piggs folder. Each person that enters the base will need to have the music provided in the piggs folder to hear the song. I've found that some songs are mislabeled on the wiki. It's helpful to use the program "PiggViewer" to visualize the songs you want to select for your base.
