Best crit ever! Headsplitter vs a yellow con minion and red con lt back before IOs. Hit em both and they all but exploded with the crit. And Claw's Shockwave with 3 Centrioles, lol 😆, probably not the best slotting but damn that's one spawn swallowing huge arsed cone. -

The forest in Perez or Eden would be a challenge ... especially if entered from an unconventional direction (Skyway side vs AP). It's been long enough to be seriously rusty. Kallisti Wharf a definite challenge. I've been there only a couple times since it became an option and that was 2 years ago before my computer died. Any other zone not much issue though most of Redside and Praetoria are getting a bit distant. But between badging and being naturally a bit of an explorer (no part of a map should be black!) most maps I wouldn't expect to be an issue to navigate unless I had the Blind condition. -

You mean like appear alongside the teammates names in the team window (vs the often hard to see graphics spiraling around the mobs indicating buffs/debuffs)?

For me I've done this with both a Cold/Ice Defender and an Ice/Dark Corruptor and this is one of those times when I can absolutely say we got 1000+ slots they're both quite strong and fun the hard part is not which to build but which to do first.

You will like. Had one on Live, the combo of slow/-recharge and to hit debuffs really helps when solo or small team. Then tack on the holds, HT, damage debuffs, a solid pet, and the ability if desired to add all sorts of procs, stealth, -resist patch and healing much of which the aforementioned pet doubles down on and ... Yes you will like.

Fun facts 60 mph is 88ft/sec That's 1.467 ft/sec Shield Charge 60ft range Combat Teleport 100ft range Savage Leap 70ft range Wormhole 80ft range So at 40 mph you'll move ~58ft/sec At 80mph that's ~ 117 ft/sec None of those are more than 2 seconds worth of distance. My scrapper moving at 40 mph will arrive before the Shield Charge (cast arcanatime 1.716 sec) carries the teammates Tanker to the same target point. Pretty sure she moves faster than 40mph completely unsuppressed. What's the problem again?

I personally have no issue with a "gap closure" problem. I would miss the fun of charging headlong into a mass of 'xxx'. Generally I just charge towards the next mob and unleash Shockwave if I'm trying to get a lot of attention and well cones suck at point blank distance. Though, of course, I could just continue to skip Confront. Haven't taken Confront in quite some time. I doubt giving it a teleport function would change that though maybe I could get a giggle when I try to draw that annoying Cabal Witch (or Longbow Eagle) down to me and end up teleporting into mid air, hang for a second, before plummeting earthward into (or onto) something else. Sounds more like you want a movement suppression issue solution than anything else.

No real experience with Poison but it certainly should be very solid. Same with Rad, Cold and Dark. Storm is more about raw damage but brings Hurricane's to hit debuff and Freezing Rain to the damage Tornado and Lightning Storm provide. Storm itself is a late bloomer ... but Plant gets Seeds of Confusion which can more than carry you till Storm comes into itself.

Pretty much any secondary will work. Narrowing it down becomes more important if you want to solo AVs and mobs at +4/×8, but if you're looking to solo at base difficulties and role play is the most important element then ultimately all secondaries can do it. Especially when or if you're talking post Incarnate it becomes more a matter of builds than which secondary. That said you really only have one pet to buff so I'd lean towards a debuff set or Storm.

Introducing Someone to the Game

1 Tanker (Stone/SS) 2 Scrappers (Claws/SR, Kat/Regen) 1 Defender (Empathy/Energy) 1 Controller (Earth/Sonic) 1 Blaster (Fire/Fire) That was the AT of the first character made by myself and each of my circle of friends when we started. All except one hit 50 (The Tanker but it was the friend with the least in game time. It was still his highest level character). All except the Controller were created prior to Going Rogue. All of us were playing our first MMORPG when we started. Literally 1 of every AT possible when created except for Controller (Earth/Sonic). It really does not matter which as long as it fits in his head, meeting his concept of the Super Hero (or Villain) he wants to play. And a big welcome to the game! -

I've never taken the time to stop and read Sentinel's version of Regeneration Second Wind. And I like. See why folks keeping pointing at it (including while talking about tweaks to Empathy's Resurrect). Regeneration is much like Super Reflexes in the sense that it is a one trick pony. Unlike SR it lacks the tools/abilities to keep that one trick strong when it is getting hammered by debuffs, in particular recharge and heal/regeneration debuffs. That is probably where the biggest issues lie particularly when talking about leveling in content and with pre-IO builds. -

My reflexive response is a polite "No thanks." My SR scrapper wouldn't be crazy about it for one. On the otherhand if the HC Staff wanted to go to the work and it's optional *shrug*. I'd give it a try like I have with essentially everything the game offers. We do have the Advanced Difficulty Options such as with the Dr. Aeon Strike Force though. -

Memories of which came first ED or toggle becoming a click are vague and distant at best for me unfortunately, but definitely well before anything Inventions or Redside existed. No idea if Headsplitter was 1 Acc, 5 Dam at the time. Just remember how completely dominate my Broadsword/Regen scrapper was compared to my by then already 50 Claws/SR against mobs. She just crushed anything in Bricks. About the only thing that slowed her down was Sappers and they were stupidly fatal typically. Slows/-recharge were not so much debilitating as annoying since they (Ice Thorns etc.) couldn't hurt me but just prevent offense. -
It has to do with the interaction of how things get enhanced, the 'strength' of the effect regardless of whether it's a buff or debuff it's all based on the strength ... or something along those lines. It's why some HO's were changed a while back, they buffed some things that weren't intended to be buffed in the manner they buffed them. I'm sure someone else could elaborate more completely but it would likely effect things Assault shouldn't have any effect on. It's a coding issue basically if I understand correctly

What @arcanesaid. Click/Auto regeneration based mitigation equals Regeneration play style (old school) Toggle/Auto based regeneration mitigation equals Willpower (newer) play style. And yes @Menelruinit started as a toggle power and was silly overpowered at that time. But it's been in its current click state far, far longer. The old toggle IH allowed, for example, my pre-IO lvl 42 scrapper to stand toe to toe with two lvl 47 Fake Nemesis Bosses. Total draw, they couldn't hurt me I couldn't hurt them. Not long afterwards it was changed. -
And while it sounds odd pulling isn't restricted to just ranged attacks. Even melee, for example, using tranq darts or throwing knives is ranged but, I would literally pull by just moving slowly closer to a foe at the edge of a spawn until they would 'see' and react to my scrapper. Soon as the foe reacted I'd move quickly away and often only draw the one foe away. Essentially the same as using a low damage attack taken to an extreme (i.e. no damage). And even if more than one foe responded it very rarely resulted in the entire spawn making the whole group easier to deal with divide and conquer style. Then they went and made it easier by adding origin powers like tranq darts and vet powers like a Nemesis Staff.

As far as I know no characters or character names have been purged or erased due to inactivity. That said try logging into all the servers in case you're misrembering which server they were created on. -
As to if you've enough accuracy in TG Mids should be able to give you the answer. If it says when you mouse over that your hit chance is 95%+ at the difficulty you're running at then it's good. Against +4's the number in the parenthesis should say 39%. If it's any other number (like a default 75%) then you need to edit your base to hit in Mids. I would suggest 1 Acc and either 5 Doctored Wounds or Panacea for the 5 slot recharge bonuses in those sets.
