  2. Plant/whatever is good for beginners plant/energy is my main dom Check to see if the name Nature's Fist is available on your server and go Plant/Earth. That one Overhand smash attack earth gets is a hold, and with domination up you can hold while you hold and maybe proc for holds. go flame mastery and recolor your earth crap to magma and check to see if Wrath of Nature is available because Nature's Fist is probably taken

My problem with human only forms is people dont realize that Khelds got a buff an issue or two before the shutdown and Nova form kicks human forms ass in by a lot in terms of damage starting power Laser Beam Eyes can be used in Nova form. Powers with similar names, but vastly different base damage Nova forms have a larger damage buff, and an ATO to push it a little more With proper use of binds and Alt+# and Ctrl+# skill use its easy to Light Form up and change forms. on the fly. some examples: /bind r "powexecname Nova Form" /bind v "powexecname Dwarf Form" z and c i generally leave for travel powers. z is teleport/fly, c is afterburner/extract essence I got bored typing but yes, you can lightform and be in nova form. i think i top 80% s/l and 65%ish everything else.
  4. end reduction in attacks is big, even a common io set will be noticeable pool power leadership is not recommended on top of your veat leadership powers. its neat to stack but end to result its just not viable adding an extra slot to Health so you can slot numina proc and miracle proc. also an extra slot (or two) to stamina. one perf shifter proc and maybe a regular endmod io the widow hide is up to you, but you only get the partial-crit from the initial attack and the +def suppresses afterwards

Tried merc/ff, merc/thermal and merc/sonic merc/ff was just guns and bullets.. and medkits(aidother). with pet aura IOs, maneuvers and everything else my pets were in the 40% def all range after level 22 and before [power boost]. Way into the 50%s after power boost. merc/thermal was more hands on juggling [forge] while still getting some shots in, rather tough after pet buff IOs. like 70% s/l resist, 45%~ most everything else merc/sonic was just a mess. tough, but a damn mess. solo i didnt have a good toggle target minus the medic and everyone else was so speedy and fast it kept detoggling

Im sure a tactical strike force master group full of defenders can handle anything but this game really is not that hard and if minor thought is applied or taking the first 7 t4 incarnated defenders to a group something can be done. But At face value, most hero archetypes are behind villains. So much so Hero inherents were not a thing until after Villains were introduced with theirs. Sometimes I too long for the days of dying trying to get across the Hallows many times after wiping in oldfrostfire and having a team dissolve because cant get back and ragelog or cant find a real true ultra omega dedicated healer. Or the wideyed constant state of fear of being exemplared in old posi. whichever hits more home. But those days are kinda done and a team of corruptors generally twirk all over other ranged ATs if they all have roughly the same makeup CorrupTursdays are not a thing because it sounds dumb and it wont really be fun due to sheer facerollyness. At least with Mastermind Mondays there is the chaos factor, or Tanker Tuesday hugboxes getting together thanking the people who invented days didnt include a day that starts with B.

  9. Fire, Ice and Water. Permahasten builds. Skip Hurricane Dump Gale before going up the steps O2 boost is up to you, I didnt because lack of enh slots. Use Knockback to Knockdown in Tornado and Lightning Storm. KB>KD turns Tornado into a blender of Smashing damage, more dots to dot while you dot. Lightning Storm is just for sanity reasons. With enough +rech you can easily have two storms out at the same time and keeping tornado perma. Use End Reduction in Steamy Mist until later. I frankenslot mine with 3 Ribos, 1 LOTG 7.5%, 2 gift of the ancients. Fire/storm, ice/storm and water/storm are my most played corruptors simply because of rain stacking. Sure, freezing rain does not Scourge but with its -spd, knockdown, -def and -resist to keep things in fire/ice/whirlpool and debuff them its just amazing. Most folks dont realize that Rains need tohit checks each tick. From Posi2's city hall ambushes to ITF's ambushes I love these 3 alts so damn much thanks to rain stacking. Fire/Storm I recolored Fire to be lighter colored and Storm stuff to be red/orange/yellowish. Wanna guess its horrifically butchered name? Ice and Water/storm are pretty much base colors because they fit so well. Well, I recolored Ice/storms Lightning Storm to be more ice colored. Whos ganna argue with icebolts? you? Also consider fire/trick arrow and fire/ice/water /dark miasma if you want more stacking.

  11. taunt has a -75% range debuff and most enemies with a ranged have an 80ft range i cant math right now because reasons but melee range is 7ft taunt for my 3 whole tanks has been a level 47/49 kinda thing

  19. Between a higher base damage and scourge, this is not remotely true. Lots of theorycrafters do not realize how much base damage factors into everything

I am pretty damn sure -resist debuffs are calculated from base-unslotted un-buffed damage in each attack so its not adding nearly as much as people think. and with enough corruptors doing the same (or BP lore pets) a -resist cap can be hit. The 20-25% gain on buffs and debuffs on defenders vs troll/corrs secondaries is not huge when you look them up and does not come anywhere close to making up from the lack of damage. With that said, the 51% damage bonus wont break the game or even come close to other archetypes but still help Defenders

  22. can it retain the 30% damage buff and maybe gain 3% more damage per party member? totaling up to 51% more damage isnt game breaking With defenders low base damage, and low damage cap it should be more tolerable or at least encourage people to take attacks or maybe consider playing a defender. Yes I know corrs are a thing yes I know that being at 51+100(enhancements) all the time is half their damage cap But damn, what few character ideas I have left are held back by either replaying corr again or being put off by super low damage.
  23. Masterminds are definitely a bloom at 50 kinda archetype. While any level 50 with everything will outperform someone leveling, i noticed it more as a mastermind. I love my bot/traps because with all my slots, access to hami enhancements and some IOs that can only be slotted at 47 or 50 it shines because I can exemp down with it all. The pet buff IOs are gigantic, the +def ones are huge alone and the resist ones also tend to help Fitting your prot bots with acc/dmg nucs and def/end cytos to maximize their acc/dmg/end spending/their bubble def. huge At 30+, FFG, maneuvers and both prot bubbles my pets can get into the 45-50% def to all range, meanwhile each prot bot is in the 40%~ def to all range since they cant bubble themselves. As for your Ninja/Time, i have no personal experience with it but Foresight/farsight/whatever its called a level 28 and being in melee range with your pets for that -tohit time aura might be key. getting those +def pet aura IOs slotted will also push it more. At 50 you can slot Farsight up with 3 Membranes for maximum recharge/def/tohit. get mace mastery for [power boost] and bam. Stacking +def and mixing it with -tohit is what makes my Ninja/Dark mastermind fun. Maneuvers with a generic Def set of your choice, I use red fortune 5/6 Shadowfall with 3 Ribosomes and 3 random def pieces. I use: 1 LOTG 7.5% and Gift of the Ancients: Defense and Defense/End the 2 5% def to all pet IOs Their inherent +def that adds up to be roughly 25%~ def to all range. Now lets slap Darkest Nights or Fearsome Stare's -tohit in that And later on taking advantage of Team Teleport or the 'newly' instant Recall Friend and abuse the hell out of the Dark Servants gigantic -20%(base) autohit tohit debuff aura

  25. Overwhelming Force: KB to KD makes the following pets great: Genin Commando Assault Bot ... i think thats it. Genin's crane kick isnt bad, but there are 3 of them coming at ya all the time Commando because so much knockback Same with assault bot. Few things sound great in this game but 10 or so enemies falling on their ass at the same time while burning to death is one of them
