  1. It's a weird one, but this is the best place to post so the devs can take a look under the hood.
  2. Good advice form Unintentive. If you can access the forum account it's easy enough to change the email address in the account settings. If you can't access the forum as you've forgotten the password then send a ticket in from in game for the relevant account (that helps us to verify it's you) and give us as much info as you can. Account name, global name, an alt name you played recently that isn't the one you are sending the ticket from. Plus the old email address if you remember it and the new email address you want to change it to. Basically we ask for lots of information so we can be sure it's actually you. If you can't access the game as you don't remember the password then basically the same information from an account you can log in with. We'll then check the IP address to see if it's the same for both accounts. And hope you don't use a VPN πŸ˜›
  3. Does he offer you missions? Then you can abandon and redo until you get the ones you want. Or you can do it through Ouroboros if that isn't working
  4. Oh sorry, I didn't mean to be snarky if that's how it came across. I'm the worst person in the world at doing good builds so I rely on others to point out if it can be better. I saw your comments and checked out the changes you mentioned, but the overall result (according to mids) is about the same. If there had been a noticeable benefit I'd have changed it round. As it is, both builds are viable and one isn't going to suffer appreciably against the other so for me I don't feel there is a benefit to changing. Now if your build was seriously worse in places than mine I'd be trying to persuade you to do it differently, but its your call and not mine to make. There might be a must-have power you love and want so something else has to give, and that's absolutely fine. If it's a matter of different slots and enhancements being moved around to maximise your survivability then it's a different conversation.
  5. Don't worry about it. The guys are just messing with you. Everyone has issues where it's a simple solution. But as nobody has mentioned it, have you tried exiting SG mode? πŸ˜›
  6. Short version: Because Laucianna told me to.... πŸ˜› Long story, Photon Seekers because they need a KB to KD. The rest because the goal was to make Light form permanent as much as possible andI'm not very good with mids except to use it as a template to slavishly copy someone elses build. So Laucianna tells me to do it this way, that's what I do. I went into mids and looked at my stats with my build Then made the changes you suggested There isn't really a huge difference. Some bits are better, some worse. As I said, this is my build and people can copy it or use it as a base to tinker with for their own personal play style and requirements. I do well in missions and teams, I don't annoy anyone with too much knockback, and I don't die very often πŸ™‚
  7. Nice wish list. I'd love to say "well done you've nailed it". But I can't.
  8. Indeed
  9. In fairness I often copy/paste wiki answers to questions like that
  10. The wiki isn't too helpful, but this is what it says Kheldians naturally thrive off the energy and essence of their teammates. Warshades' absorbing nature allows them to draw on the power of their teammates' power to increase their own. Your Damage Resistance will increase for each nearby Tanker, Mastermind, Corruptor or Defender teammate. Your Damage will increase for each nearby Scrapper, Sentinel, Stalker, Brute or Blaster teammate. Each nearby Controller or Dominator teammate will grant you limited Protection from Control effects. Finally, each nearby Peacebringer, Warshade, or teamed Arachnos Soldier or Widow grants you some resistance to attack time slow effects. You cannot put Enhancements in this power. the game detailed description says
  11. who dug up this necro thread?
  12. PA things? Phantom Army?
  13. I have aspergers and find if someone shows me I get it really quickly. If someone gives me a book on how to do it I'm no wiser once I finished. Presentations with slides and examples works, but again it's the visual thing with actual pictures of what I need to know. Working security we generally have visual aids and practical training. It's all in a folder for easy reference, but I mostly use it for door and alarm codes in rarely entered areas. I learned everything I needed to learn following an experienced guard round and watching what he did.
  14. Nobody knows for sure, and those who know aren't talking
  15. I generally wear a hazmat suit or morph into an avatar that floats. I don't trust the floor in Pocket D
  16. I noticed I have my builds posted in various places and thought I'd put both of them here so if get asked for a build people can find it easily. I started with Dooms builds as a foundation, then tweaked them for my own play style, then Laucianna laughed at my terrible slotting and helped me to reorganise things so I wasn't an embarrassment to the Kheld community πŸ˜› Just kidding, Lauci was absolutely awesome and didn't laugh once πŸ™‚ These are my builds, and they may not suit you or your play style, but they are a good (if expensive) start and you can change them to your own personal preferences. 17. I've pinned this thread so it doesn't get lost. I'm sure a lot of people will find it useful
  18. Why have I only just noticed this? I'm regularly asked about binds and macros and I'm pretty lost when it comes to making them!!
  19. I think Jack fell into the trap of assuming players would play to his expectations rather than do what players always do and that's go off piste at the first opportunity and break anything that's breakable. That's one of the reasons we (and other games) love players who take part in beta testing as they often find massive bugs and exploits the devs never even noticed or considered. He also failed to understand his audience. Nerds will nerd. Nerds want to know every little bit of information and will make extensive studies to work out exactly what "average" means and how much better "superior" is. I'm a geek, I am very interested and excited with the genres and franchises I follow and can talk passionately about them, but I'm happy to play a game and don't care what's under the hood. I'm Jacks audience πŸ˜› Even as a GM I'm not very up on the mechanics of the game. I'm great at the social aspects and the helping stuff, but ask me why your powerful PC with awesome graphics card and huge memory is running like a snail on a railroad track I have to pass it to the nerds on the team. They are far cleverer than me. They do the hard work while I sit at the back of the class with the safety scissors and glitter making fridge pictures πŸ™‚ And just to clarify, I'm not using the term nerd or geek as a defamatory term. To me geek is a person deep into the fandom and knowledgeable about the lore and collectibles, nerds are the ones with the brains that need to look behind the curtain and see how things work and ask the difficult questions on the mechanics of things.
  20. I don't blink. Well technically my inner eyelids flick across my eyes occasionally
  21. Wouldn't know as I can't stand the 4 star stuff. Aeon leaves me cold and I'd rather eat pineapple on pizza than do ITF
  22. Not sure what the figures are for AV's, all I know is they go down like a stunned zebra if you have some good support characters in the party. Kin, Rad, Darkness etc all help immensely when you are fighting the really tough people.
  23. I'm in the UK and it's something that doesn't work for me and never has. I've reported it a few times so chances are it's not an easy fix.
  24. You've met me then πŸ˜›
