  1. I have no idea of the figures except what everyone else sees, but as a player I see events with full leagues on the busier servers, MSR and Hami leagues full, TF's filling quickly and plenty of teams and farming going on. There is the general drop off of players that every game gets, but we do seem to be reasonably stable. As someone else said, there is a new page on the horizon and that always drums up interest, and the event runners don't seem to have much trouble filling their regularly scheduled events so the numbers are still there.
  2. Just remember not to use the name, bio or costume when creating a character. It's sad for us when we see a well recreated character and have to generic it
  3. You mean these options?
  4. It's not powerful enough to be a T8 I agree, but my flytrap has killed me several times. "No Fluffy, not that mob!!!!"
  5. Wait until April and the mapserver event. So much fun, so many alts, So much inf needed to slot them afterwards......
  6. While I understand the OP was typing in frustration and not coming across at their best, please keep this thread civil and try to be a little less judgmental. A lot of games are designed to be a grind to level 50 and the fun stuff start at level cap, where this game isn't. We have the fun stuff in the level 20+ range. A lot of the newer content is from 20 to 40. I understand OP's frustration, I always tell new and returning players not to take the double XP boost initially. Avoid farms, even avoid DFB in the beginning. Learn what you are doing and get used to the system first. Then think about short cuts to levelling.
  7. The auction house is the place to make inf. You get more inf selling an orange salvage than you do from level 1 to 20 at normal rates. An orange salvage will fetch roughly 500k inf each. Yellow salvage is fetching around 15k-20k. White salvage is best sold at a vendor. Recipes purples will fetch around 8 million inf, then orange and yellow are variable. It's bestto check each one individually to see if they are selling for more inf than a vendor will buy them for or vice versa. Merits can be exchanged for special salvage. Enhancement converters are always a good choice, boosters are getting a good price. I've done an experiment of only getting inf from 1 to 50 at single XP and it's not nearly enough to get your sets and procs. It's still a lot better than live though. You can fully enhance your character for 500 million, where on live you were paying a billon per enhancement. Were you farm sitting to get to level 50 so fast on 5 alts? Drop rates are halved in farms and if you aren't maximising your drops on the auction house you are going to be missing out on a lot of inf.
  8. Yes, Just go red.
  9. That's one of the reasons for extensive reshoots early into the test screening process. 100% of the audience was against that story choice. Yet do it right and you have a John Wick situation where was the motivating factor in a movie that was expected to be a throwaway action film and turned it into the franchise it's become. I've not actually seen the John Wick movies, but a guy at work is obsessed and friends say they are really good. I'd have been onboard with an "Aquaman goes nuclear" movie.
  10. True. But it's something else that does damage and stun I don't have to herd around
  11. Efficiency Expert Pither is not on Ouroboros, so it's a fail once tough noogies situation. It was changed so you could get it doing someone elses arc though.
  12. I kind of avoided it after hearing about Then they did a reshoot after the audience ratings tanked. Then they did reshoots again. At this point (Like the Marvels) the damage they are causing by reshooting, re-editing, reshooting again, then throwing out a lacklustre film that has lost everything it had when the original script was written is immense. Streaming doesn't help, a lot of families are looking and refusing to spend 100 quid or more on a night at the cinema with the price of tickets and snacks and just paying for the particular service to watch it a month or two after it's release. You do get the movies where people are willing to pay, and go see it again after a couple of weeks, but they are getting really rare.
  13. Good arc to run again though. You get to the point Mot is super easy, barely an inconvenience.
  14. I've got it on something that is a click and point which is very irritating. Not sure what the AT is though. I'd rather it was a toggle.
  15. I was hoping to get help with my airline tickets
  16. I assume it's just the volume of spam. Just the odd click by accident here and there adds up. It's like spam email. Most of us delete it unread, a few people click thinking it's legit, and a few click out of fear. I regularly get the "we have put a trojan on your PC and captured video of you enjoying yourself on porn sites". Lots of threats of sending the videos to all my friends and family and work colleagues if I don't pay thousands in bitcoin. I don't go on those sites and I don't have a web cam. But there are enough people who are naïve and think it's real so pay up. Volume is the key.
  17. Homecoming is very different to live. There is no tool to import old saved characters, and costumes are more than likely to be invalid and will fail to load as over the years costume parts have been revamped, moved around and changed. We also don't have access to any characters or accounts from live. They might be stored on an old server in the NCSoft vaults, or they may have been deleted when they shut down the game. There are so many data protection laws round the world these days it wouldn't surprise me if they purged old player data for safety and security reasons.
  18. Unchain essence is an odd one. It's another good nuke, but you need a macro to get it to target. /macro dead ""targetcustomnext enemy defeated" then hit the power is what I use and have it set to a key along with my shapechanges. You can have the power on a key too so it's two key clicks. I tried it with the power activation in the macro but if there are multiple corpses it just cycles through them rather than exploding the targeted one. So annoying. But I agree that given the choice between that power and Stygian Return I'd pick the latter any day. As for Extract essence, that one does actually target the dead enemy automatically. You may have to hit it twice (I forget). As for Shadow slip, I'm not sure about human based. I play dwarf based and only use human for the buffs. A warshade benefits from more enemies up close, so for me it's a must have. Gather the foes close, then all the different AoE powers straight after. Time it right and you can get 10+ buffs from eclipse, human mire and dwarf mire. The two mires are classed as different buffs so both is preferable. Then a quick nuke or two and it's just a matter of mopping up the survivors. Dwarf has a rather good heal as part of it's attacks as well.
  19. I would say to pick stygian return, it has a short recharge time and gives more health and stamina the more enemies are round you. It also makes you invulnerable for a short time so you can pop your toggles back on and protects you from XP debt for 90 seconds. Return to battle is fine, but it's recharge is 60 minutes. SR just needs a recharge IO in it and you're done
  20. If Michiyo is doing maintenance it will be down, same as the wiki. It'll be up again eventually 🙂
  21. looking at the totals that's not too shabby at all. If it works for you with the power picks then that's all that matters. I'm sure someone would look at my build and go "why do you have X but missed out Y?" and my answer is "it works for me". There is no right or wrong here. What happened to me was I found my original build had things I didn't like or didn't need, and other things I found were super useful that I needed so it was a matter of evolving until I got to the point I am now. Sadly it's an expensive game when you redo your build to optimise yourself with real game experience, but totally worth it. Khelds in particular are a weird AT due to having so many options and sometimes what looks good on paper doesn't translate to your particular play style. I do try to prioritise the superior or purple enhancement if the power takes it though, so that's not cheap 😛
  22. I love this trailer
  23. if you type /loc it tells you your location. Good for narrowing down badge locations if you don't have vidiotmaps. typing $loc tells you your location but also puts it into the chat box which if players click on it generates a marker on the map to follow
  24. The "here" shout annoys me. "OK great, where is here?".
