Yes. But I can only speak to /MC because mine is Fire/. BoS is outstanding. It has a base range of 200' and because of the way teleports work can be used in very interesting ways. Like targeting the team's ninja' and teleporting to the room in which they've located the objective. This is best done with binds/macros: On my mouse the two thumb buttons are BUTTON4 and BUTTON5 so a direct bind would look like this: /bind BUTTON4 powexec_location target Burst of Speed Any time I press the thumb button I BoS port to my target. Because it is a location AoE and not a targeted AoE it can be done on friend or foe, just like Combat Teleport. The toon also leans heavily into CT, but that's a different thread. BoS is also a reliable trigger for RttL's +dmg. I cannot recommending highly enough using some form of targeted bind/macro with Burst of Speed. This code will place a button on your tray that activates like any other tray button: /macro Burst powexec_location target Burst of Speed I run both Ki-Push and SK. KP is conditional, but one of the most fun powers in the game. More useful than it looks on the tin, too. SK has absolutely stupidly good DPA and KD. I guess if you can only keep one, then probably SK, but I'll not be dropping KP if I get around to a rebuild on my fire/mc. Interesting ...

Oooh. I like this. I've not a lot of experience with OG. Something to consider. As I understand Terrorize - it keeps them from moving, but they can return fire if they are attacked. Even if they return fire they still don't run around - sort of a low-key immobilize in that respect. LMK if that is right, or there is some mechanic surrounding mob resistance, rank, or purple patch that lets them move while under the effect. Basically the idea was to keep mobs cowering in Ice's paired Rains, if they are counter-attacking I'm ok with that. But this interaction between CoF/OG is something I might have to give a try instead. Oh yeah, forgot about this one. 👍

This would be an interesting idea to revamp Vault Reserve. Of course just because I don't find it useful in the era of free (no prestige costs) bases and the like does not mean that no one finds it useful. So, pending the notion that it wouldn't step on lots of toes, an Account-Wide Vault that repurposes the location might be interesting. Standard Code Rant applies here in a big way - character/account stuff is extra wacky from what I understand.

Who's tried it, on what combo, and to what result? Contemplating this on a Sentinel.

If you know you know. Edit: I did not make this and props to the creator, pulled from an exhaustive search for a gif of this amazing moment. Watch Lower Decks people.

IG does accept ATOs on Live, that change went though late in Beta. I only tested it briefly in Beta, so YMMV if slotting a given ATO there is worth doing. IIRC it was looking pretty good on the tank, keeping the +RES ATO stacked nicely. This snip is from the Live version of the shelved Tanker: Edit: Snip for demonstration only. Beta version of the toon has both ATOs.

Full preview in the costume creator is an excellent idea. It would be great to have an additional screen to toggle on/off various powers in combination. Might be a big project, but a fantastic idea all the same. Even further. It would be great to be able to set cosmetics for pools/etc during character creation as well. That way the default costume in each slot inherits those settings as the toon acquires the powers rather than heading to the tailor, adjusting all pool/etc powers, then saving that costume out to make it the default on additional slots. Granting not everyone wants their Flight Pool custom settings to be the same for every costume choice, but when that is desired it does get ... tedious ... to maintain consistency throughout them without planning ahead. Or at least it can be for my scatter-brain self. 🤣 Of course that is an even larger project as well.

I just this noticed today, but looks like there's already a thread so, updating I suppose. So ... which screen is WAI? 🤣 -

I wish. Won't be able to make this one, which is a shame because the swanky dine-in theater walking distance from my place is apparently showing it. 😞 -
I think it is time to get rid of Reward Merits and PAPs

Spend any amount of time on a populated server. even the ones that just say "task force lfm" will drop a "speed btw" after the group is finished. Against my better judgement: On Excel I see all manner of recruitment in LFG chat, even that small sample does not approach your 99% threshold of "everyone just skips to endgame and does speed runs." Further, LFG Chat recruitment is definitely not representative of 99% of teams on any given server. Coalition chat is widely and frequently used to assemble teams for all manner of content, as is local chat near TF recruiters and the like. You'd have had me here at a more realistic number that is not based on forum posters alone. 60% of all teams are formed in LFG chat? I'd be more inclined to listen. I think we could all do with a bit less of that sort of hyperbolic, counter-productive presentation. For the record: I really don't care how other folks engage with the game, but let's not pretend that "literally everyone" is just skipping to T4'd 50s and speed running hard modes. Plenty of us suss out what we want out of a character at endgame during the leveling process (or in my case, more often deciding the idea was better than the actualization and starting a new idea). Folks in my SG's Discord are forming leveling teams rather frequently, come to think of it, although that is natural after a Page release with new toys or proliferated sets. And here's a fun one - we're a small group, so once the team is partially full we usually grab PUGs for the ride if we want to fill up. Full disclosure: my game time in the last 6 weeks has been minimal, but when I've been on Excel it looks pretty much the same as it ever was. Which is/was definitely not dominated by 99% of teams just "skipping to the end." Here's the ironical bit: I might have actually agreed with a proposal to reduce the number of currencies (but not the currencies you suggest in the OP, those are fine and should stay) in the game had it been an actual constructive change and a decently presented idea, but hyperbolic drivel and an OP that was more like a stream of rant than a proposal aren't going make a very good presentation. -

Originally? The Future. Then Madness. Then linguistic pet peeves ... ... which brings me to something I'm not certain if I've posted here before so I'm going to anyway because it riffs on my personal disdain for the colloquial perversion of the word "literally," particularly when I catch myself doing it because I adopt colloquial patterns very quickly and automatically as a result of a lifetime of nomadic tendencies and work related travel. I've even taken to intentionally using "figuratively" or "proverbially" as a replacement ... when I don't slip. https://www.mcsweeneys.net/articles/like-and-literally-make-a-deal

Sweetness! Have you done a comparison against Fire/<Not Bio>? So many of these runs are done with /Bio that I often wonder how much of the lifting the armor set is doing. Obviously recent changes to FM have made the most difference here. In general though I see so much /Bio that I do wonder what the differential is against different armors.

Oh Snarky ... If I wanted to feed you I would do so by throwing an adult human worm creature in your general direction. Definitely not a dog. Dogs are awesome. So are cats. Human Worm Babies though? Not as reliable. 😉
