  1. I think we need more clarification here. You're being a bit vague and it's kind of tough to figure out how to respond to this. If you've played kinetics on any other AT, then you'll know it plays pretty much exactly the same on an MM. Beasts are a nice pairing for /kin because /kin likes to play in melee and beasts are melee pets, and the beasts are pretty tanky on their own, so /kin's lack of buffs in that regard doesn't hurt them as badly. Beasts are already pretty fast, so be careful when smacking them with speed boost--the super zoomies are fun, but can make them a bit hard to keep track of to make sure they don't do like the ninjas and take off to aggro extra mobs. This is a powerset combo that likes to play hard and fast. If you don't like risking needing to resummon pets in combat (mostly while leveling before you get all the upgrades and slotting stuff) and/or needing to keep a tight leash on your pets, then it may not be the powerset combo for you. However, @The_Warpact is right, the only way you'll know if you like the combo and "get" it, is to play it. Maybe don't run DFB, perhaps skip the double xp booster, perhaps even try soloing with it through some missions or something. If this is to be your first try with an MM, then I'm not sure I would recommend beast/kin as a pairing until you've gotten the hang of how MM's play.
  2. It is indeed a lot of zoomie fun. 😄 I have a beast/kin, and yeah, sometimes it's almost a bit too chaotic to try and manage, but it can certainly be some good fast-paced fun as a different type of playstyle.
  3. I didn't enjoy Beasts/TA either. Seemed like a good idea, but I ended up hating it. 😅
  4. @Bananiac I always love seeing your commentary. 🙂 @Midnyte I've never really done the TF, and never actually know what to call it/them because I see it advertised so many ways. TinPex just seems to be the most common way I see it in LFG so that's just what I said because I couldn't remember. 😅
  5. Those pics turned out great @Midnyte!
  6. I'm torn between AT's, lol. 🤣 On one hand, I love MM's, but not sure how viable one would be for doing high-end stuff; I remember being faceplanted the last time I tried TinPex on one, lol. I'm also torn between Corruptor, Blaster, Defender, or Warshade. 😅
  7. Just out of curiosity, what AT's are some of y'all thinking of bringing to the TinPex? Trying to figure out what I might want to take to 50 and get slotted, lol.
  8. I don't think the level at which you acquired the power means much when you're doing a respec. Unless you mean you have/had one more slot available than you actually should have had while performing the respec. Otherwise you're free to slot those powers as you see fit while performing a respec; it's one of their benefits.
  9. Oh nice, I love your concept! I have a character along a similar theme: Echolocation Gal (Sonic/Sonic Defender) This is her dolphin inspired look. I plan to make a bat and maybe whale one as well.
  10. I'm aware the looks are totally different, but I can't believe no one beat me to this for Beelzeboss:
  11. If you're sure. Like I said, I don't mind coming up with a different concept since I'm not overly attached to any particular hero.
  12. Oh that's awesome! Please, you take Poison Ivy; I'm not particularly attached to any one hero over another, so it would be no trouble at all to come up with a different concept. 🙂
  13. Thank you! I had a feeling there was something I was missing, lol.
  14. If he's a DP/Inv Sent, where did the sword come from? 🤔
  15. Is this a special form that can only be used on Fridays? 😛
  16. That's what I mean, lol. I don't really have any, and don't really have time to get them leveled. We'll see what I can end up doing.
  17. @TrixieKixx For next week's theme, I'll be bringing Poison Ivycat - Plant/Psi Dom. In case you couldn't guess, she's paying homage to Poison Ivy. 😛
  18. The only weekend I won't be around for for sure is the 17th as we'll be on vacation. Given how limited my game time has been lately too, I may not be able to make either of the 2 high level TF's since I rarely play high level toons.
  19. Managed to get both my girls to 24 in the nick of time, lol
  20. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iywaBOMvYLI&ab_channel=systemofadownVEVO hehehe
  21. Lol, same here. I can't stand them and I can feel the pain immediately in my wrist/arm trying to use one.
  22. Aw, thanks @Glacier Peak! I predominantly play on Everlasting, but I saw their team theme thread a few months ago and thought I would see if they would let me tag along. Can't say enough good things about our little Saturday Theme Team group! You get treated like family there; we make mistakes, we're casual, we joke around, it's just all around a good time and one of the best parts of my week. I'd also like to give a shout out to Chaos United on Everlasting and their hosting of daily MSR runs. They host these things in the open zone twice a day (scheduled around our two Hami's), and they are always super welcoming to anyone and everyone. And it's almost always a hilarious time. The chat is always flying with a mix of people RPing and OOC. Almost kinda feels like family in those too, lol.
  23. Lol, that's the older version of the Logitech MX Ergo that a couple of us use, and even the Ergo is only like $80
  24. I tried a Razer Naga and Kraken (I think that was the name of the headset?), gosh, roughly ten years ago and had issues with the quality. I had 2 nagas; had to return one under warranty because it started double left clicking after less than 1 year of use. Replaced it with a second naga, and boom, same thing started happening. Headset didn't last real long either and I was disappointed in the quality. Went back to Logitech products after that. Though lately, due to having some pretty severe tendonitis, I've transitioned away from traditional style mice--it just puts too much strain on my wrist/arm. I have a Logitech MX Ergo mouse (elevated trackball mouse) that I love. Idk what I would do if I had to go back to physically moving my mouse again, lol. I also purchased a Corsair mechanical "gaming" keyboard that has been holding up extremely well, even after I accidentally dumped a soda in it and had to take it apart to clean it and put it back together. I have found the mechanical keys to be a bit more ergonomic compared to the standard keys since it takes so little effort to get them to respond. I don't think I can ever go back to a traditional keyboard after this one eventually craps out on me, lol.
