Props for testing! But, on sos I am pretty sure +4 and +5 content is not terribly useful testing. The follow on when you reset it to 0/1 however is MUCH more useful. 🙂 Regarding slow ET, there are several chains earlier that use fast AND slow ET in a single chain. The short of that testing was slow ET is actually still a really good power.

We have people swinging 10 foot long swords, sharp pointy knives, swords, sharp pointy maces, guns, probably some other stuff. If that isn't lethal, I dont know what is. They got that iron palm martial arts stuff thats supposedly definitely lethal, so I could see this doing bad juju! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Touch_of_Death -
This may end up being my favorite/second favorite fender pool ever! Kinda tied with elec affin!

Is that like a new bow model?

So does TA in i27! EMP arrow got the hot sawse!

An epic is end/late game content. ToF is up front, immediate use at very low levels. Totally different, and only tangentially related insomuch as they both (potentially) do damage. It is like comparing your tier 1 primary with your tier 7 secondary.

So I refactored into TA/Rad; Rad will 100% light OSA (I haven't gotten that far), and its tons of debuff really helps. I am trying to figure out how to build, but am not sure? I see this: flash arrow: lots of -tohit, pairs well with defense OSA: target aoe (iirc), can self target irradiate: instantly lights OSA with a 1 second cast, comes with built in -def (I believe the def hits before OSA pet burns them?) neutron bomb: more -def misc TA powers pack -res and more It seems that a ranged flash, self target OSA, fold space, irradiate, clean up with neutron bomb/cosmic (or nuke) with whatever fast cast debufs in TA should do a good job with limited +tohit (won't need tactics, for myself or team), and limited def due to synergy from flash + scatter from OSA + irradiate; How do you guys recommend slotting this, with i27 in mind?

Assault and Battery seems cool; I am looking for a replacement for Midnight Bomber, but I have yet to see something along those lines (to me at least). I guess this one would work, but super stunners are hard to find? Suggestions on where to find them?

The people that didnt recreate and test. Just complained that "I mained for 800 million years, but can't be bothered to log into beta and test! It is all trash!"

Have you tested? Actually tested? Have you responded to this thread with an accurate breakdown of the results from your testing?

You completely misread. ... you would know how powerful confuse is at low level. ... It doesn't matter if the power itself is godly or not. Confuse is poorly resisted at the level range in question. Even con minions easily provide enough distraction to lts and bosses at low level for other means of control (blowing up lts and bosses, or lts if solo) in a very effective way. A pack of skulls dumping -def into each other makes general slaughter much much easier, since lack of accuracy slotting is offset. One example. -
Feeling of power can be had by empowerment of teammates. If you enable your teammates to steamroll at an accelerated pace, then yes, you ARE powerful. Single target damage against something that doesnt move is kind of a weird measure of test, since in game play, nothing stands still and things croak quickly. All the dps in the world isnt going to help against something like Director 11, who will totally ignore taunts periodically and run around dropping bombs and ruining your melee fun. But your buffs? Those are eternal. They don't benefit just one brand of play, target, or problem.

Proc'd out fences is pretty stupid silly. For me though, that is tied to FS based control (built in aoe hold procs, proc damage). It is instacast for the most part, and very reliable. On a scrapper, not sure it is needed, but I know I sure as hell am taking FS on my scrapper too.

You do know WoC is defensive, right? Or is that intentional oversight. If you have played a plant troller, you would know how powerful confuse is at low level. If not, please be aware it is STUPID strong. -

Multiple people with TT can do some interesting things. If the team is split and you have someone hard core in a different part of a mish, 1 person next to the dead person can tp the badass, while the badass ports the dead person. This puts the dead person in a safe place (to rez), the bad ass in the dangerous place, and resets the cadence of the mission. In fact, TT pinball enables fender types to support teams across vastly different locations on large maps, enabling split map processing. -

Hm. Does it work on "stuff" like a crabs nuke bomb? If so, the crab can drop the nuke in safety, tank ct in and tp it into a mess of mess (I would test, but requires two people, and even though I have like 5 chars with TT, I would need a crab partner. I dont THINK it would work, but it would be cool if it did) -
This was great! Thank you for the explanation!

I don't have problems hitting pretty huge chunks of enemies with PC as a tank. As a stalker, I would view it as splash damage, rather than a mass aoe attack, which is more in line with what a stalker does anyway (huge single target damage with general splash).

I would really like to be affected by whatever EMP does. I don't know what it does. But it sounds good, so I DEFINITELY want some. Sets where fenders self-affect are amazing! Sets where they dont? Well, less so.

Caveat: I didn't know procs worked this way till, hm, 2ish months ago. It was eye opening, and very depressing. I thought I was being smart by +5'ing trips in 4 slots to maximize damage/end/acc/rech. To find out how wrong I was was... well... really sad.

@josh1622In total absence of, I dont know, incarnates, any and all support powers already shoring up other abilities, I might agree with you. On SO enhs, I would surely agree with you. But there are SO MANY WAYS to offset minor values in slotting a single power, that the argument against slotting 1 or 2 powers as procbombs is totally shortsighted. If you build a set as a whole with set ios, or use even rudimentary incarnates, their function as a whole, for the entirety of the build, is so utterly game changing that a few end, damage, or accuracy from slotting a power is almost irrelevant. To make the point: Less than half the recharge. 143% accuracy. Single 50+5 acc/dam/end. High proc chance on hold (grav anchor) which is synergistic with the aoe immob. This is much much much better total value for the power. The only thing that would eclipse it by slotting is a purple wintero set for defense. Base damage on the power is 82 dragged out over several ticks. Again, unless I have no other way to get values from a set I shove in there, on purple frozen blasts (6 slotted), I get: 217% accuracy is overblown. 2 second improvement from slotting isn't aiding anything when you have chain filler. The power is doing at least 100 less damage. There is no diversity in that damage. You don't get holds out of it from grav proc. The built in recharge you are throwing at it from the set squashes the hell out of proc chance on the grav proc even if you slotted it. Everything has its purpose and place. Maybe you need slot bonuses in that _specific_ power, because they can't be had elsewhere. Other than that, if you don't need slot bonuses in the power that you can get elsewhere, maximizing it's utility really really really might not be met with any other form of slotting outside of procs.

I think this depends on play style. I am totally fine with ninja run (toggled as I can absorb the end cost) + sprint, using a CT bind to get vertical or horizontal movement as needed where ninjarun fails me. In fact, this is my goto. When ninjarun popped up on the market during live, it was the best thing since sliced bread, as it gave me more power pick flexibility. The same is true for the whole fast-travel nonsense. I found lots of ways to fast travel, albeit with some phat lewt investment, prior to all of this, that never used the enterfrom cheat. Bouncing through zones on a variety of cooldown functions was always good for me. Teams generally rolled with TT, ATT. Now, I don't see many people at all carrying these, even though we are a richer playerbase as a whole. A certain breed of player from back in the day will go this route, and it will rub off on new players, and slowly but surely the changes will be absorbed. Not a big deal! -
1 power, which operates subnominally, can easily have its accuracy, endurance, and slotting bonuses easily replaced by slotting/power (use/choice)/incarnates elsewhere in the build. Recharge is INTENTIONALLY kept out. If you are slotting with procs, recharge comes from outside global sources, so even having it in your statement is disingenuous. That same power however may have a core function available that no matter how much value slotting (not set bonus) you dump into it, it won't improve. When you can get 2,3, or 400% damage increase in a power with a handful of procs, AND STILL GET SET BONUSES (3 slot erad (1 of which is a proc) for bonuses + some procs for instance), THAT IS A PROBLEM. Is this problem one that should be fixed? I don't know. But it certainly isn't operating as intended.

I powerlevel (mishs, VERY rarely a farm for a few levels) by doing things like, uh, running team content. Praetorian content in the high levels, DA content. Apex/TM runs (I am on limited time budget and this scores me much needed merits, isalvage, emps, and chat), the standard Jenkins/TinaMac, do some red side, random TFs, monster slaying, ToT, you name it. Id like to run more red content. I miss it. I ran red exclusively when CoV came out for YEARS, and finally gave up to go blue. Was a sad sad day. I like introducing content that players may not hit, like tips through the entire 20-50 range. New enemies, get to track evolution of people like Frostfire and that burninating lady with the books Flambeaux, the whole Tremor +Fusionette stuff, you name it. If I can run it in 30 or less, I will, and I will drag a team with me, no matter the level. People like it, and like seeing the variety of content I pull them into. I certainly have zero problems finding or making a team, 24x7. I play 2am EST, 7am EST, random times during work day for a few mins, evenings around 730-8pm. I would think that if population was declining, this would not be the case. YMMV as they say. Maybe it is the content you run, or means by which you recruit teammates that drives you to think the population is dying off?
