  1. Ah, you missed this from my post above! -> Looks like swapping out blazing aura for fiery embrace nets a lot of damage for 20 secs uptime, 28 sec downtime. <- I can totally do without blazing aura. Yes, its free damage. No, it isn't really meaningful when everything croaks in a FS alpha. On the ToF side of things, it looks like 4 procs and 2 dam in it produces more damage over time. Whether it is worth sacrificing the 7.5 fc/ 7.5 aoe is another question.
  2. I can see it as an issue from a few points. In short, you are already getting something thats pretty much travel-power "lite" in plain ninja run. Stack it with a power you would take ANYWAY that gets you far more travel and (whateveryoursetdoeshere) benefit than picking _an actual travel power_ and your sets whateveritdoeshere power. That's just messed up!
  3. I think you misread. That says it was increased from 1.17 to 2 seconds. Not decreased from 2 seconds. Also, as far as I can tell from the notes, its either in green or blue if it was changed. If it isnt in those colors, nothing was changed.
  4. I could only fit and slot elec fences ( i procd it all the way, with chance for hold, chance for -res, lethal, lethal, fire, energy). However, I took and slotted combat teleport (2 slotted), and fold space (3 slotted). A quick change around in ToF, and tbh, I don't really know what ideal slotting is for it, since you can fit so many interesting procs into it. If you are interested in mowing people down in packs, fold space and ct are the way to go, bar none. I am probably taking it on my dm/ena scrapper as well. If not fs, at LEAST ct.
  5. (this is on a tank) I dumped purple winteros (for 7.5% aoe def, 7.5% f/c def) into ToF. It is possible to procbomb ToF, since acc-tohitdebuf, taunt, fear all have procs, plus bombardment, javelin, posi. 6 damage procs... If you just want to smash things, _6_ procs in a power where you (hopefully?) build for perma-souldrain gives you very high chance for activation. Against saturated +3 mobs (level shifted), 6 procs, and maxed soul drain, I was doing ~92-140 (2 or 3 procs each on average) damage to everything in the area, + 5 ticks of 12 damage. That is on par, or better than, straight slotting for damage by a lot. edit: Upon testing, looks like 4 procs and 2 50+5 generic dams is probably the sweet spot. I am curious what this would do on a brute, but not terribly so. The increased target count on a tank I feel makes up for any extra damage that a brute might get from fury, and it builds a lot stronger for defense/resist.
  6. So this is great! To get an O-Port solo, without help, from Atlas -> KR -> PD -> RV -> Portal!!! The fast travel menu is pure win. I love that the SG P2W portals have dropped to a 10 min recharge. Realistically, this is about as long as a mission.
  7. This is very fun, and more than 4 buttons. It is mass AOE; In beta land, you just swap hects for rags in eagles claw? Might be geddons, would have to doublecheck. SC in, ball lightning, dragons tail, xpunch, finish hard targets with regular melee + zapp. In this case, eagles claw ALSO clears trash, but generally speaking its all dead after the xpunch/ball/charge/tail chain. It is ~1300 damage in 4 seconds (excluding shield charges 1.5 sec opening cast) in an AOE. Zapp is instacast, so its fun filler all the time anywhere 😄 Hero Plan by Mids' Reborn : Hero Designer 2.6.0.7 https://github.com/Crytilis/mids-reborn-hero-designer Click this DataLink to open the build! 8. ToF is a good bit of a game changer with it. I didn't take fiery embrace. Rethinking that, since blazing aura is a waste of time. With melee core, agility core, I sit at 90 s/l/f/e/n , 81c, 60 tox, 40p. ~30 def s/l/m. Looks like swapping out blazing aura for fiery embrace nets a lot of damage for 20 secs uptime, 28 sec downtime. SM/ToF rake in 500 damage each, burn 620. MG 792 damage, SL 600, smite 400. 1 sec cast fences pulls in ~260 damage. Even without blazing aura, it rakes in massive damage. That might not be impressive to you, but I find very impressive (actually testing and playing with it) edit: (3 second downtime on souldrain, permahasten) edit edit: just how much damage are you expecting a TANK to pull in?!

    Fold Space Queen?

Bowling is real. Get a FF defender or cor. Heavily slot dispersion bubble for the defense (2 50+5 generic defenses, 2 endredux). 6 slot repulsion field for acc/end redux/kb 2 50+5s for each of the three works. 2slot force bubble with 50+5 end redux. Bind or macro: combat teleport powexec_location target -> fold space -> ct powexecl target Alternate bowler: 2 slot 50+5 rech in ct, run perma hasten, constantly CT into everything you see like a mad person intent on upsetting the whole world. Profit. The rate of travel in this gitup is pretty silly. You can go into a farm and scatter EVERYTHING in mere seconds. There is no ED for KB, so I even went so far as 2 acc/4 50+5 kb in repulsion field. HAH.

Ok, so. Can you fire soul transfer while you are alive? That would actually be pretty great if I can.

    Fold Space Queen?

Ok. So, this works pretty good! Except soul drain is totally useless. Will rethink a replacement. So, if I, erm, slot 2 hami os, and proc thunderstrike and atomic blast.... I get a 14 second rech 3.3 cast ~500 pbaoe, and a ~500 nuke every 400 seconds. Souldrain pumps up damage everywhere else though... Thoughts?

    Fold Space Queen?

So, first off, this is a BUDGET build. Second, the three teleport powers are (2 slots for CT, 3 slots for FS). Third, I am stashing +dam from near perma soul drain. How does this work? Heh heh. Drop caltrops at your feet. Drop some random bots. Fold space. Watch things try to run in desperation as you blow them up with timebomb/nuke/trip mine, seekers, and neutron bomb. Rinse and repeat. 😄 I don't really know how OG works in the build, but HEY! OG!!! 13. Taunt isn't control. You can pull agro off a tank for absolute sure, if you dish enough heat! It is at best, loosely a control on 1/0 type teams with all SOs and no accelerated damage output. 🙂
  14. Hm, so, its kind of weird, since I don't know how ET interfaces now that it has an instacast. Core is a safe bet I guess. 🙂
  15. Empathy isnt great for soloing. You picked a primary that is heavily based on targeting teammates. If you want a solo-friendly defender, go elec/psi. Elec provides great self-buff/heal/end/dam/res/mezprotect/+recharge to _yourself_. It is the swiss army knife of dooooooom. With elec/, I recommend slotting the hell out of it for global recharge, to perma souldrain and cut your +rech power down to the bone. I got it to 10 rech, 5 sec uptime on the +hugerechvalue. Solo plus stupid pet its like +80% global rech or something silly. I would have to dig out my elec to doublecheck.
  16. Especially when you toss in ToF. 😄 My rotation is SD, Burn, ToF, SM, Burn, ToF, rinse repeat until you need to refresh SD. SD is fired after I either CT into a mob, or after a FS. SD is overslotted for accuracy I think, but that initial 10% tohit from CT really smashes a first run on SD. Oh, so, slight alteration: FS - elecfences, paste in above 3 piece string. Elec fences is kinda necessary given the insane gobs of inbound agro.
  17. So, where can we find this awesome link? My builds are... um, kinda weird now. I don't know where my i27 elec/em fits for hybrid assault, or my i27 fire/dm (which probably doesnt need assault at all) I don't really have damage auras, or they are slotted weird with only 1 slot each (elec has powertransfer, fire has fury -res).

    The Electric Tank

I have an i27 elec/em/elec tank thats pretty stupidly tough, but takes some liberties with what I think is "standard" for tank slotting. For instance, my lightning field I didnt take until something like 49, and has a single slot. I am fairly sure I didnt take powersink OR buildup (will doublecheck in a minute). However, I have stupid aggro over-saturation from other functions, and slotted elec fences w/6 slots (my only patron pool power I took). You might ask, WHY did I do that to elec fences? Aggro contro. I foldspace, and if I have an open area, what happens is I pull mobs from all over; multiple different spawns. Elec fences ensures that they dont wander, and sets initial agro containment before it gets stupid, because as I start unloading PC and WH and things start dropping, ALL the other spawns I tagged with FS pulls start rushing to smack me in the head. Its pretty amusing. Thankfully I don't generally run out of end, as long as I remember to hit the healz for end redux. The damage is weird, and as I posted in a beta thread, position of powers on my power bar makes a huge difference in what kind of DPS i can put out. I am a big proponent of mashing whatever comes up.... cough cough.
  19. AFAIK, stacks of EF are a scrapper/stalker thing.
  20. fire/dm/elecfences (yep, its the ONLY epic power I took...) + tp pool. It totally melts the hell out of everything.
  21. So, tank number two out the gate. It works well, tied to elec. I, um, have some endurance issues 😄 If I don't make sure to pop energize every time its up, regardless of needing the heal or not, I can flatline. I was, however, running sprint and ninja run raw (no endredux in sprint). I found something neat out. I NEED two different bars for attack chains. If I have my powers on the bar, I don't get very optimal results. Sure, everything dies in a reasonable time, but when I organize things on my bar differently, I get A LOT more effective. Overall, it felt great, much better than what I was poking with on live.
  22. It is more like splash damage. Pretty sure it wouldn't show up as a result, if it is actually just splash?
