  1. Almost every primary/secondary (I said almost) scrapper combo can do this. It really depends on the player and build.
  2. This answer always depends on what you value more. Stone is definitely better damage IF the target just stays there and takes it. If you spend 10s running it down though, ANYTHING comes out ahead. Stone has a runner problem. ALL armors without a taunt aura do. I personally HATE HATE HATE runners and I solo a lot, so the lack of a taunt aura would make it an easy call for me. I abandoned a fully T4 incarnated RM/STN because of runners. I've given Stone a fair amount of play time and I've given Shield a LOT. Personal opinion? The difference in damage is only noticed when measured (Shield is known for it's good damage output too) BUT you will noticed the lack of damage when you literally can't attack that Eclipse Werewolf cause it took off like Usain Bolt and is a quarter mile down the office. I think you'll like Shield more. Both sets boost damage, Stone boosts it more. Aesthetically, you can't get rid of Stone shoulders and Shin Guards even with minimal settings. Shield has...a shield. Comes down to taste in the looks department. Mace and a shield look awesome to me.
  3. EA is pretty amazing TBH. And it has a taunt aura. If you aren't considering it I definitely would.
  4. Stopwatch on my phone.
  5. If you go Stone you are going to have some incredibly nasty amount of running away from you. Stone can crank out more ST and AOE DPS but you WILL have to deal with a lot of runners, so that statement really only applies if the mob is standing there. SD has a taunt aura. Stone does not. SD has Shield Charge.
  6. Why did I never think to measure times this way...
  7. It is definitely tougher than bio (not a high bar anyways) and the damage output is actually pretty close. Brimstone and Mudpots add a darn good amount of DPS.
  8. Something was tweaked with the flee thing a while back (few months?) that didn't seem to get documented. Stone Armor is really good stuff on scrappers, but the lack of a taunt aura makes it ridiculous to solo with. I've got a RM/STN and a RM/BIO and I am gonna shelf and gut the RM/STN simply because I can't stop going nuts with the runners. Sucks too, cause outside of that, it's a good armor set.
  9. It's work to figure out how to get it in the middle of the pack for DPS, but it isn't bottom tier if you do. The Conc Strike animation can root you for a long time (2.83s) but it's a cool payoff. ATO2 definitely goes in Conc Strike and you definitely take and slot T1-3 and use them. Fire Melee actually performs worse in ST DPS but that's IF you put the time in to figure out the best way to maximize it's weird Build Up (Power Siphon). Fire Melee is pretty bad in terms of performance but it's dumb simple to do. I haven't done SF/BIO or ELM/BIO but I'm pretty sure they are behind it in ST performance. KM<FM<DM(1x Soul Drain Stack)<ELM<SF
  10. Looking at the aracana time and animation time before effect this looks to be definitely true. 9.18 is what I get. 1.32 - 0.5 = 0.82 10.0 - 0.82 = 9.18
  11. Try: TF - THEN BUILD UP - ET. This normally let's me go TF-BU-ET-MB-TF-ET. The animation time on BU activating is just enough to roll in to that just fine. On rotations when I don't use BU it's just the same as everyone else. Build Up's boost last for 10s, the BU proc last for 5s. TF has a long animation and that absolutely eats into BU time.
  12. I haven't played with sound in well over a decade. Last time I heard this game was...2010?
  13. lol this happens ALL THE TIME Woops. Surprised I didn't catch that. Saves a few slots. Just means the build gets some slow/recharge resistance now But I totally use Brawl and Boxing as set mules all the time.
  14. I can't imagine trying to softap all types with Stone Armor. Just SLEN (maybe P). You don't get any worthwhile defense to FC IMO. I just try to hard cap the RES for FC. Something to keep in mind current mid's for scrapper Stone Armor is off on Earth's Embrace and Rock Armor is being calculated for Psionic Defense total in mid's, but in game it is not. Keep that in mind, hence why Earth's Embrace is 4 slotted (and the FC res bonus to help with hard cap). Here's my take:
  15. AFM. All Frames Matter.
  16. This is Midnight Grasp: The effect activates 0.533s into the powers animation time. So the proc timer starts ticking then. You have another 1.711s of Animation time eating up your proc window (this is accounting for Arcana Time). So you end up with 1.539s left of your proc window. I always thought the chance to Hit/Crit was calculated at the beginning of the cast (like DnD). If that's the case then yeah, TS would be fine. If it's at the end? That would be a nope.
  17. Scrapper - Muscle
  18. I literally got curious about just this combo, made a build, and did a thing on Brainstorm. It actually caught me off guard a few runs. I had a 1:15 and 1:17. Average. No lore. Hybrid assault equipped, not active. Scrapper Kat/ENA 1:27 (Degen/Zapp/Proc) So, that build is capable of doing 500-600 pretty consistently. This one isn't much different, just geared a little bit less squish. Either way, EA is a power house and the build above would be hard to kill regardless.
  19. 2. Yeah. 1:27 and 1:29 average, that order for RM/BIO and RM/STN 3. I went back and did some runs with my DB/BIO and DB/ENA and they were still getting in the 1:10-1:15 and 1:30-1:40 ranges (that order). I literally just did some averages for DB/STN on Brainstorm and averaged 1:22. Best run was 1:15 after I changed some slotting. BF-SNP-SS-NS-AS-BF-SS-SNP-NS-AS-BF-SS that's my opener. And you end up doing a Snipe every other rotation. Assault IS equipped, but NOT active. Also, dualing two Black Knight swords and doing Sweeping Strikes with a huge model looks dope. DB/STN is good stuff from a damage perspective. I'd love to head @Linea's opinion of the scrapper version in regards to NOT DYING. Scrapper DB/STN 1:22 (Degen/Zapp/Proc) Build:
  20. Brimstone is an answer little power. Brimstone and Mudpots did as much total damage together as BF did itself. Those two are baller. I do BF-Snipe-SS-AS-BF-AS-SS-Snipe-BF-AS-SS-AS when I do my snipe chain. I still want that SS attack in there cause it hit's like a dump truck and it gives a chance for some -RES. But I'd consider seeing how weaving in a snipe for you works cause it's cast time is 1.33 (don't recall arcana time) Cause yeah, AS did more damage than SS total, but look at the difference in amount of attacks. It had 32% of the attacks that AS did but did 66% as much damage. Umm, those are really good times for DB. I get times with my RM/SA similar to my RM/BIO. Literal two second difference in average time.
  21. Oh! Sorry, this is definitely a DB proc build It might have enough recharge for that chain (but I think it does)? I haven't tried. It's the same amount as my DB/ENA and I'd be surprised if it wasn't. I actually do the Empower combo for DB procced out (NS-AS-BF) then SS and Snipe (Zapp). I skip snipe every other rotation. But I forget if it is my DB/ENA also, or just my DB/BIO but it's not uncommon to be damage capped (solo) doing this with procs lighting up. Be careful with Mid's telling you EE caps your HP. What Mid's and real game show are different. It actually takes more slots in EE in-game to cap then what it does in Mid's.
  22. That's the thing. It takes a good player like you to do this. It's definitely not the norm and an exception to the set, *I'm gonna give a proc build of Staff a go and see if it reacts like BS (ie. massively). When? No clue.
  23. What @Pzn said. BF-AS-SS-AS. Pop a Recovery Serum before your run if end is an issue. Think of putting the Gaussian BU Proc in BF. Is the ATO1 proc not anywhere on this build or did I miss it? Think of putting it in Typoon's Edge and moving what you can of Arma to SS. Maybe this build might give some ideas:
  24. Thanks for this. Just a heads up, these pretty much confirm what we were saying...the fact that it takes the best version of Staff to get under two minutes is pretty...telling. Cause those are similar to what my ELM/SD stalker does.
