Has she tried the 'Find Contact' button? Sometimes that works to find contacts you don't normally have, even without having to run paper missions.

Huh, I would think with the reduction in animation times that the Battle Drones (and Assault bot) got since this thread was created would throw the buff one way or another, instead of it being basically a wash on which pet you use.. I'll definitely have to test it on the Open Beta to see which may give better numbers now vs a pylon (or target dummy)

I need to copy over my bot/traps MM to test and see how it performs, but based on everything in this forum post and knowing just how BAD the purple patch affected pets (especially the T1s) I'm moving to a slight 'buff' overall, especially in higher end content (+4s, EBs/AVs/GMs and anything that the purple patch boosted) Even with the nerf to hit points, which is an overall nerf to bodyguard mode (its a direct effective hit point (EHP) reduction) I think the extra survivability that simply being even con will amount to an overall 'buff' to the AT. Also, I'm sure its stickied somewhere, but how does one copy over to the test server again? It's been years since I've done it, and they refactored the test structure since then. -
Make Cold Domination Shields work with Power Boost

As what other people have said, you can't look at /Cold in a vacuum and only look at the defense shields. It adds so MUCH more as a powerset, that the defense it gives is just that much more gravy on an already high tier secondary. Having power boost effect the shields would give it the same (or even higher) values as Force Field, which literally only has defense as its one trick pony. I honestly think even though force field just got looked at, it needs another pass to give it some absorb values or something other then pure defense. -
Can we have a discussion about collision mechanics?

Less collision is a good thing. I can't stand how even some pets still have collision on them (looking at you FFG and acid mortar) -
Less restrictive Power Pools & additional enhancement slots

Please give my already overpowered and over tuned character less restrictive power choices and more power slots. Please. I would kill for like 1 more slot. Seriously, I can push a lot of power out of one slot. This is a joke post. and all i can say to the OP is /powercreep. -
Why so much Cold/Fire Resist/Defense? (Feedback)

From what I remember, the last time it was compiled (and this was Pre-Praetoria...) is that Lethal/Smash are the most common damage enemies can do, followed by Fire (most grenades, rockets, bombs, etc do Smashing AND Fire damage) with Energy/Neg/Psi/Toxic/Cold being less common depending on what you're fighting, but usually in that order (with energy being more common then neg, which is more common then psi, which is more common the toxic, which is more common then cold) While some common enemies (Crey, Council, mid level CoT) have cold type powers, very few 'specialize' in it, like they do with Fire and Energy. I think the only enemy group in the whole game that uses pure cold powers are the Winter Horde, and those are only really available around the Holidays. -
Make long-range teleport points a P2W buyable?

Zoning in or out of a location will usually refresh most things. Try that next time after you get a badge in an area. -
In defense of the team leader, there is an additional badge for completing certain tasks with those difficulty settings enabled, but he definitely should have said something first.

I use this exact setup, arrow keys for movement, then mouse for targetting/power selection. Even on my MM. I think I rebound shift to jump though, instead of CTRL.

Not entirely true. Some badges were account-wide, like the old Veteran Badges, VIP badges, and other 'paid for' badges which are now character-specific.

I main a bot/traps and I intentionally built it to take point and lead teams. With the right play style, and Super Speed, you can get bot/traps built in such a way that you can solo anything, and get to the end of missions faster then most people. Its all about the right play style.

I'll have to go with Bot/traps. The Synergy between the sets is so nice, and its really easy to soft cap both yourself and the pets. With the new maintenance drone, it got exactly what it needed with another spot heal. I've yet to run across any AV I can't solo, and I can handle most of the GMs with ease.

Posi 1 is also pretty easy to solo, because there isn't an AV in it, and the clones are pretty easy to tackle if you're by yourself. Posi 2 is a little harder to solo because Dr. Vahz will always be an AV and he hits kinda hard.

I really like this suggestion, as some zones are just nicer to run Radio Missions in (I really like Talos for example, instead of PI) and opening up the ranges allows for more grouping opportunities.

"S club 7" or some variant of it. Girlfriend picked the name on torchbearer, so i might as well try to get it on Excelsior too.

I don't have one formed on Excelsior yet, I have a bare bones one on torchbearer, but nothing on excelsior. I swap alignments a lot, and i worry that I'll end up losing the base if i swap from hero to villain.

I can get behind this, though there are ways to reduce your EXP earned already, by incurring debt. That reduces your EXP earned by about 50% while you're indebted. Granted, patrol XP works off debt, and patrol XP gives you 50% more EXP for its duration, so it might not be a reliable way to reduce your EXP

My toons are mixed between Torchbearer and Excelsior, and my main is on Excelsior so I guess that's where I would want the base built on. I'm thinkin 4-5 rooms, basically entrance, storage room, teleporter room, lounge area, and a room of power (i know we don't quite need all the fancy power generators and such anymore, but I would like to have them) Time isn't really a concern, I'm taking a bit of a break from the game right now, but would love to be able to come back to a fully functional base.

I'm not entirely sure this is the right place, or even if its entirely allowed, but I wanted to commission one of the wonderful base builders to build me a base. I'm looking for something magic themed, with full teleporters and storage. Whats the best way to commission one of ya'll?

There's an event in Praetoria that turns things destructible but only during that event. Do the same thing for this.

One thing to consider, is Caltrops is autohit, so Acc isn't really that useful in it. Acid Mortar does need some Acc, but if I remember correctly it already has a decent Acc bonus (1.10?) and once you hit with it, the -def helps you hit again. Plus it stacks on itself, so multiple Acid Mortars means you're bound to get the debuff to land.
