And this is the very reason why I asked what the time frame was in the licence in the first place. 🙂 For while you do make a bit of a valid point @Blackbird71, one has to remember that all licence agreements have a set time frame in which it is legally active, after which both parties would have to renegotiate it again, or just "resign" and renew it. After this time frame has passed, both parties have the option to not resign, so in theory HC would have the option at that time to just go their own way without any "legal action taken" against them, bringing things full circle again before the licence was signed in the first place. Also, if I recall correctly, in most licence agreements there are clauses added to it that allow for either party to pull out of the agreement for any reason as well. Yes, this would involve a money transfer (right?) for the "Buyout" clause, but it would be there I would think. So there are options on either side set up I am sure to get out of the agreement, but that does not mean that such option(s) would be implemented. So overall I feel that this licence is a good thing as most do protect both parties involve, IF handled right, so in the end I think that HC is safe from being shut down "legally" anytime soon at all. 🙂 Of course, since none of us have read the licence per saw at all, in the end we are all guessing here as the HC team has not told us anything "specific" about it (like what the time frame of the contract is for example), so as far as we are concerned, this can be perceived as a schrodinger's cat paradox. But the odds are HC is safe for now... 😉

I do not know if this question can be answered officially or not (probably not), and I certainly don't know anything about such agreements, but it would be interesting to know. Like if it was only for 6 months, 1 year, 5 years, etc. Thank you... 🙂

Interesting question, and a difficult one to answer as well seeing as I like so many others here are Altaholics (The only addiction that won't hurt you lol). However, I believe it would be T'rel, my Dark Melee/Invulnerability Scrapper hands down. T'rel was the a recreation of the very first character I ever made during live on Freedom, was (is) super fun to play, and was the only level 50 character I ever had during live too. He (I) was fairly well known as well, and was even called the "Heroes Hero" many times as T'rel was in many ways just as sturdy as nearly any Tank back then, and would oftentimes be called in to help a team just get threw a mission... However, if I could also have another character that I have grown to love a ton (and play a lot more I might add), I would include Ms Grav, my Gravity/Force Field Controller. She is a great character that is not only fun soloing, but also super helpful on teams (hey, everyone loves bubbles, right? :D). So much so, that I will always choose to use her during MSR's if I don't want to get some other Alt some good old levels instead. So I would say she would be my second main character, if there is such a thing... 🙂 T'rel... 🙂 Ms Grav... 🙂

Hello... My name is @BjorJlen (@Trel in game), and I am here to request that you send me some good old cash so that I may help a certain group of monsters in game. You see, I have noticed that during this ToT season, many, if not all Heroes ( and Villains too like @Snarky) have been going door to door, saying Trick or Treat, and if some nice loving monsters appear to give them some candy, they are immediately jumped and beaten to a pulp by said Heroes/@Snarky... And then they take their shoes as an added insult... I find this deplorable, and quite unbecoming of a Hero (though I suppose in @Snarky's case, they are lucky he didn't just give them a little nip on the neck too). Because of this, these poor unsuspecting monsters have become destitute, homeless, and poor as all can be. They don't even have any candy anymore! So I have decided to try and do something about this, and give them all some Influence to get them back on their poor monstrous feet, and start anew. And I need your help @Yomo Kimyata! So I am here to ask if you could please send me some cash so I may distribute it to these poor unfortunate beaten up abused monsters & souls. It is for a good cause, as even the citizens of our fair city are now looking at these monsters with disdain in their eyes. Something must be done! So I ask for your help please, before bullies like @Snarky drain these monsters dry, and more of them suffer. For every monster you can save, is a monster that can once more go back to doing monstrous things. Thank you for your time, good sir, and may your blessings help all those in need.
